WELL IT ITS FRIDAY WOOHOOOOOO

Well it is finally Friday and boy I can say I am happy this week is over. It has been one of those weeks . Where if you had the opportunity to stay in bed, pull the covers over your head. This was the week to do it for me . All I can say is thank goodness that I had my kindle , my blanket and my pjs.  It was a week of just about forgotten blog tours and book files lost on the computer. Oh yeah then there is the whole blog disappearing for 20 mins . I have no idea what happened there, it just disappeared.
Oh yeah then there is the whole minus 68 C with the wind chill. So on top of everything else . I had frozen water troughs in the corral. Frozen pipes in the house. Every cabinet door in my kitchen was open. Fans blowing warm air onto the pipes. To chopping ice out of the troughs, dropping a chunk of ice on my foot. Swearing up a bluse streak. So baby I was glad to come into the house. slip into my warm flannel pjs. Make a big bowl of popcorn, snuggle down with a good book. Which I did

BOOK BLURB

"What do you call a book that makes you lock yourself up in the bathroom before the last two chapters just to pour out all the tears that's been welling up in your eyes?"

A New Adult Romance Novel by USA Today Bestselling Author Priscilla West

"There would be no happy ending for us. He was too damaged. I was too broken."

Two years ago, Lorrie's mother was murdered. But that wasn't the end of it. Reeling from the tragedy, Lorrie's father spiraled into alcohol, depression, and finally suicide.

The two most important people in Lorrie's life are both gone but she's still alive.

Trying to recover from the tragedy, Lorrie returns to campus, ready to pick up the pieces of her life. All Lorrie wants is to get back to "normal."

Then she meets Hunter. The man, the legend, "The Hammer."

Hunter is a cage fighter who takes on every fight like he's got nothing to lose. His life is a tangled mess of girls, booze, and fist fights. And while it may seem like he's got a devil-may-care attitude, he's fighting a private cage-match with a monster he can't defeat.

Lorrie knows that Hunter is exactly the type of guy she should stay away from, especially in her fragile state, but Hunter has other ideas.

As Hunter and Lorrie grow closer together, will they be able to overcome their pain and heal each other? Or will they both end up wrecked?

MY REVIEW
What can I say about this book. Lorrie and Hunter are two very broke people. Lorrie still trying to heal from her mother's death at the hands of her stepfather and the suicide of her father, Hunter is just as broke hiding something dark from Lorrie. not going to tell you cause I don't want to ruin the book for you. They try and stay friends but they both know that they are more to each other then friends. As they hang onto each other. Trying to save each other, But do they or do they just drag each other down . I was so surprised at the ending of this book . I actually had tears in my eyes . As I read about why Hunter is the way he is . It actually breaks your heart

I received this ARC from netgalley. I was very happy that I took the chance on this book. I started and finished in a day and a half. I just couldn't put this book down. I wanted to see how things were going turn out. Would Lorrie confide into Hunter more, Would Hunter finally tell us about what his dark secret was revealed.  Lorrie and Hunter are such broken people , you just want to hug them and make sure that they were ok. The kittens are what brings them together more and more.
Priscilla weaves a tale that will take you on a rollercoaster ride. Lorrie the strong heroine , who has gone through hell in the media. Hunter the strong MMA fighter , who wants just to save Lorrie . She has them hiding things from each other, parts of themselves that are so broken.  I did suffer a book hangover while reading this book. I even read through a migraine trying to attack me. That shows me that this book is a great read. Cause if a book can make me read through a budding migraine. Then it means the author has done her job. To captivate me and keep me invested in the plot and the characters.  You want to care for these two characters. You will cry with them and you will yell at your kindle. Saying tell him dammit and tell her dammit. You also will kind a get a little crush on Hunter, he is such a hottie, with his muscles and tattoos . Can you just say yummy . But I digress .
I am now reading book two in the series , started it as soon as I was finished book one. Its jus as good as book one, So please take a chance on this book . You won't be disappointed . I know I wasn't disappointed and neither will you .
 I give this book a 4 out 5 stars
