MADE IT TO TUESDAY ALL

Good morning all , today is going to be a gorgeous day in my neck of the woods . I hope you all are having a good day . I can't believe I haven't reviewed this great book yet . Its from one of my favourite authors . Lisa Kessler and the first book in her Muse Chronicles  LURE OF OBSESSION.

                           BOOK BLURB

Fated Mates meets Clash of the Titans!

Melanie Jacoby is the human vessel for the Muse of Tragic Poetry, but she isn't prepared for the tragedy of finding her roommate dead at the bottom of the stairs.

Nate Malone is the detective assigned to the case, but as the evidence points to an accidental fall, the visions begin. He sees a killer in a gold Kronos mask.

Mel is the next target, but Nate's determination to protect her is almost as strong as his desire for her.

And tragedy isn't part of his plan.

The Prophecy - "Every generation the nine daughters of Zeus are reborn, and with their rebirth are also nine Guardians. They will be marked by the gods, and given gifts to protect his treasure. Their abilities will only be unlocked when they find their muse."

                            MY REVIEW
When Melanie finds her best friend and roommate dead at the bottom of the stairs . She isn't ready for what is going to happen . Melanie is the human vessel for the muse of Tragic Poetry and one of the nine daughters of Zeus . When Nate Malone is assigned to the case , He thinks its an accident , then the visions start about a killer in a Kronos mask . Nate is determined to keep her safe as his desires for her grow. They will both survive and will they be able to love each other .

The characters are so well written in this book . The author takes Greek mythology and gives them a modern twist . Mel is the embodyment of the muse of Tragic Poetry . She is a strong woman who will do what it takes to survive . She is sweet also and loves her friends . I truly liked her feistiness and her sass . Nate well he is just sexy dipped in chocolate that you just want to lick up . He is also a damaged guy that is hiding some things that happened to him . He is no nonsense and will do anything to keep the people he cares about safe . On their own they are great characters and together they are explosive and oh so hot .

I read this book in an evening . I totally fell for this new series, I love Greek mythology and the greek gods . There are twists and turns that will keep you on the edge of your seat and the sexy times will have you fanning yourself . The author puts her characters through the wringer before letting them actually fall in love . The mystery will pull you in and the romance will keep you turning pages . You can easily get done this book in an afternoon . This is a binge worthy series for your summer reading challenge . Check i out . You will love them all

If you need a book to get them through the rest of the summer I have the book for you . THE ADVENTURERS GUILD  by Zack Loran Clark.

                             BOOK BLURB

Few ever asked to join the Adventurers Guild. . . . Their members often died young. In one of the last cities standing after the world fell to monsters, best friends Zed Kagari and Brock Dunderfel have high hopes for the future. Zed desperately wishes to join the ranks of the Mages Guild, where his status as Freestone's only half elf might finally be an asset. Brock, the roguishly handsome son of merchants, is confident he'll be welcomed into the ranks of the Merchants Guild. But just as it seems the boys' dreams have come true, their lives take a startling turn . . . and they find themselves members of the perilous Adventurers Guild. Led by the fearsome Alabasel Frond, the guild acts as the last line of defense against the Dangers, hungry, unnatural beasts from otherworldly planes. And when the boys uncover a conspiracy that threatens all of Freestone, Zed, Brock, and their new allies -Liza, a fierce noble, and Jett, a brave dwarf, must prove their worth once and for all. This start of a thrilling new series is sure to be a hit with readers who like their fantasies clever and action-packed, with tons of humor and heart.

                          MY REVIEW
There are few that join the Adventurers guild , they usually die young . In one of the last cities left standing after they fell to monsters . There are two best friends who have high hopes for the future . Zed Kagari wants to joing the ranks fo the Mages Guild . His best friend Brock Dunderfel wants to joing the ranks of the merchant guild . As their dreams are starting to come true there worl is shifted , they find that they are apart of the Adventurers guild . The guild is led by Alabasel Frond and they are the last line of defense against the Dangers . Will they come out and survive the dangers and prove that they have what it takes to keep Freestone safe .

The characters in this story are well written and each character has his own complexicity to them . Zed is an half elf that wants to belong and do good for his city . He is your typical kid that wants to help out . When push comes to shove he is there for his friends .  He just wants to be part of the mages guild . He didn't really want to be a healer in the Adventurers guild .  Brock is a sweet guy who just wants to be a merchant in the merchant guild like his parents . But like Zed he is thrust into something that he doesn't want to really know about .  Along with their new friends they met in the guild Jett and Liza . They become a strong team that can do almost anything  .

This story is a great read for those of us that love a good adventure . Yes before you start saying but its a children's book . That doesn't really matter the author will take you on an adventure with a group of friends that are doing the best to survive .  There is a great mixture of suspense and humor that is through out this book.  I gave this book to a friends daughter and she couldn't put it down. There are moments in the book where you just want to wrap everyone up in blankets and hold them close and say everything is going to be ok .  This is a great start to a great new series . If you have a tween that is bored , get them this book . They will be lost in an adventure of a life time . Great summer read for those who want a good adventure

HAPPY SUNDAY ALL

Well its is Sunday and the weekend is almost over . I hope your weekend is going great . Today I have a new author  Kinney Scott and her new book ADDICTED TO TROUBLE (In Ashwood book 4)

                            BOOK BLURB

Passion and politics feed more than one vice in Addicted to Trouble.
Iris loves Northside Grill as much as an old friend, but if her customers keep leaving for the competition, she may be forced to sell. Her best option? To run for a vacant seat on the City Council and use the position to instigate change.
Her hot-as-hell rival has the same idea. And the owner of Lincoln’s Pizza might stoop to bribe voters with his addictive crust and delicious secret sauce to win the election.
Lincoln craves competition. When Iris challenges him in the local political race, he’s intrigued.
A woman as fine as Iris shouldn’t trust a man like him, but Lincoln can’t resist twisting his interest into a provocative game. Will his high-stakes gamble pay off? Maybe time and a few rides on his Harley will tip the odds in his favor, because Lincoln definitely isn’t a sure bet.

                          MY REVIEW

Welcome to Ashwood , where Iris runs Northside Grill and loves it so much . When her customers start heading to the competition. She has to come with a plan to keep her bar or she will have to sell .When a seat on city council comes up vacant  she decides to run but so does her rival . The hot as hell Lincoln and the owner of the rival pizza place has the same idea. When Iris intrigues him he can't help but go after her and make her his . But will the bet pay off and will they come out together on the other side.

The characters in this story are well written and complex . Iris is a loyal woman who loves her town and loves her bar . She has had some past problems that have shaped her into the woman she is. She is loyal and kind and wants to see her town survive . There is a part of her that is because of what she has gone through . Has a hard time trusting and comes of a little naive sometimes .  She has lots of friends that are there to help her when her past comes back to haunt her.  Lincoln well lets just say he is hot and sexy . He has a son and well smokes one cigarette a day . He is cocky and so sure of himself  and loves the challenge, You actually see him start to change the more time he is with Iris . Actually you see them both change . They really do make a great couple and i truly liked them together , they challenge each other .

This book is the first book I have read by this author and I was pleasantly surprised . I was sucked in by the second chapter and I started to really care for them . There are some twists and turns that will keep you turning the pages . There were laughs and tears , trust me there are a couple of scenes where I had tears running down my cheeks . There were a few spots in the book that I felt that should of been a little shorter and it kind of fell into the trap of girl gets boy and then something horrific happens and girl runs off and boy finally gets a clue and runs after her . I just think that it is a trope that seems to be way over done  It didn't stop me from reading though the author does a good spin on it though . I would recommend this book for your summer reading list . Make it one of your end of summer reads for the pool

WOOHOO IT IT THURSDAY

Welcome to Thursday all , hope your week is going good . Today I have another new author to me . Melanie Florence and her book  THE MISSING

                           BOOK BLURB

After a girl she knows from school goes missing and is found dead in the Red River, Feather is shocked when the police write it off as a suicide. Then, it's Feather's best friend, Mia, who vanishes — but Mia's mom and abusive stepfather paint Mia as a frequent runaway, so the authorities won't investigate her disappearance either. Everyone knows that Native girls are disappearing and being killed, but no one is connecting the dots.

When Feather's brother Kiowa is arrested under suspicion of Mia's abduction, Feather knows she has to clear his name. What Feather doesn't know is that the young serial killer who has taken Mia has become obsessed with Feather, and her investigation is leading her into terrible danger.

Using as its background the ongoing circumstance of unsolved cases of missing and murdered Aboriginal women, this fictional thriller set in Winnipeg explores one teenager's response to a system that has long denied and misrepresented the problem.

                           MY REVIEW
Welcome to Winnipeg where Feather is going to high school, young girls are going missing and when Feather's friend Mia goes missing , Mia is painted a frequent runaway and the police aren't going to investigate  When Feather's brother is arrested for Mia's abduction . She is going to do everything to prove that he didn't do anything . With the serial killer closing in Feather is putting her life in danger . Will she find out who the killer is and will anyone actually listen to her .

The characters in this book are very well written and complex . Feather is your typical teenager and she is also native. She is feisty and doesn't want another young girl murdered .  I truly liked her , she gets into your heart and you really start to care for her . You want to keep her safe and wrapped up in a warm blanket .  Kiowa , Feather's brother, well i feel that he can be a hot head when he is pushed . He has something to hide i felt as i was reading him . There are so many good and bad characters in this book that you will love and hate at the same time .

I was intrigued when i found out that this was a Canadian author and she was writing about the indigenous community in a Canadian province . There are quite a lot of serious issues tackled in the book everything from child abuse , the disappearance of young indigenous women to victim shaming . They are some of todays hottest topics . You won't believe what actually is going on with the police and others that are in the middle of it all . This is a book that will have you thinking and wanting to do something . The author will keep you on the edge of your seat as you read .  This book will have you talking about what you can do . I would let my teenager read this book and you should read it this summer . You will not be disappointed

WELCOME TO WEDNESDAY ALL

Well I must say that this is the wednesdayiness of Wednesday out there today .  Today I have a new author to me and her book WOMEN BEHAVING BADLY by Frances Garrood

                           BOOK BLURB

An uplifting story of friendship and lost loves ! Perfect for fans of Gill Sims, Sophie Kinsella and Jojo Moyes…

Three women, three affairs, and a self-help group with a difference…

Alice is a harried single mother dealing with a teenage son, an irresponsible ex, and a noncommittal lover.

Mavis is juggling caring for her elderly, confused mother alongside her long-standing affair with a hypochondriac father-of-two.

And Gabs is a high-class escort who’s fallen in love with someone completely unattainable.

All three women are behaving in ways very much frowned upon by the Catholic Church. But their priest, Father Cuthbert is determined to reform them.

As the three women strike up an unlikely friendship, each re-evaluates what is most important them. And it seems the not-so-holy trinity of Alice, Mavis, and Gabs can’t be ‘cured’ that easily…

WOMEN BEHAVING BADLY is an uplifting romantic comedy about women finding their identities and learning the value of female friendships. It's full of humour, wit and tear-jerking reality, from a strong voice in women’s fiction.

                           MY REVIEW
Three women all of different classes form a great friendship through a self help group . Each woman has their problems and their quirks .  Alice is trying to keep her teenage son on the straight and narrow while her ex is just a big kid . Mavis well she has her hands full with her elderly mother and tries juggling her long term with a father of two . And then there is Gabs, she is in love with someone that she knows she can't have . oh and did i say that she is a high class call girl .  All three women strike up a great friend ship and play havoc on the church group .

These characters are very well written and complex . Each woman has their problems but when they are together they come out well . Alice is sweet but also really frazzled single mom , who is trying to keep it all together .  Gabs is hilarious character , she is sassy feisty and such a fun read . I love her so much
Mavis is the rock that holds them together is some ways . She is strong but also weak in ways that will have you loving her .

This is a unique book , I sat down and started reading and was sucked in by the second chapter; each character is charming and they all have some past that interacts with each other . I love that they turn a church group on its head . The author takes us on an emotional fun filled ride through the trials and tribulations of these three women . You will love them and also want to hit them upside the head a few times with some of the stuff they do . I did find a few spots a little boring but it didn't take away from the story line at all .. This would be a great book for any book group and for you summer reading list . Check it out .

GOOD TUESDAY MORNING ALL

WOW  it is Tuesday , its been a very busy weekend on the farm , we have a new addition that has been keeping us on our toes and lack of sleep is going on here . Lots of coffee has been keeping me sane Today I am going to review the last  of the WALKING DEAD graphic novels issue 193 by Robert Kirkman .

                         BOOK BLURB

“THE FARMHOUSE” Out in the countryside, trouble is brewing for a certain someone.

                          MY REVIEW
Ok this was a total shock when I found out that this issue was going to be the last issue of the series. This has a time  jump and we find Carl as a grown man with his own family . Trying to live a good life after having to do something that he never thought he would. I am not going to say what but it is earth shattering .  When Herschel rolls into town with a wagon of walkers as a side show . Things get blown out proportion and Carl does what he knows best and takes them out . Not going to say any more cause i will reveal the ending .

We have a time jump that has everyone grow up and become parents and pivotal people in the rebuilding of a new world . Maggie is the President , and makes an appearance. Carl is brooding just like his father . Herschel well he is a not so good guy, I didn't like the way he grew up . I kind of wanted to smack him upside the head .

I was so shocked when i got this issue of one of my favourite graphic novels . This series had such a rollercoaster ride of emotions . The deaths and the loves of each characters would keep you on the edge of your seat . The art work is amazing and the author takes us back to the farm house . The last three issues will rip your heart out . So if you are an walking dead fan you need to read the ending . Thank you Mr Kirkman for a wonderful zombie fueled ride of a life time .

HAPPY RELEASE DAY

Good Wednesday all today is new release day for N.L Hoffmann and her spin off book LUCIFER .

                          BOOK BLURB

*Spin-off from The Daughters of Darkness series.*

Lucifer wishes his brother, Aden…whose name you can't say in vain…would stop trying to change him. He wants to do something about it, to prove himself, but what can the devil possibly do to make the world a better place? After being told he must perform at least one good deed every five hundred years, Lucifer pairs up with a young artist to find the Book of Souls and return it to Hell.

Because of her ability to touch someone and see into their soul, Maye decides to keep herself hidden from the world. Being an introvert is acceptable for an artist, right? But when she buys an easel and a plain, wooden box, her whole life changes.

The devil is the embodiment of evil, but when he meets Maye, the past hits him in ways that should not be possible. Over the centuries, he’s built an impenetrable wall around his heart, but piece by piece, it’s started to crumble, allowing old emotions to seep through.

As Lucifer and Maye work to find the book, they begin to question their own strengths. Question whether they can defend the world. All the while, they must battle their feelings for each other, hoping to avoid the idea that fate might just have different plans for them.

Can they succeed and save humanity? Or will destiny intervene and force two opposites together, unwittingly releasing chaos into the world?

                              MY REVIEW
What Lucifer wants is to have his brother Aden would stop trying to change him . He is the devil for crimneys sake he wants to prove that he can do something to make the world a better place but what . Until the moment he is paired up with a beautiful young artist to save the world .  The Book of the Dead is stolen and they have to get it back to hell before it destroys the world . They realize there is more to them then meets the eye . They start to second guess their strengths and weakness. Will they be able to save the world and keep their hearts intact as well .

Ok lets talk Lucifer the main character in this story , I love the way he is written . It is refreshing to see him as a fun loving kind of character . Yes he is still arrogant and self absorbed but he is also funny . He runs around in bedazzled speedo. He is sexy as sin and yes you would like to climb him like a spider monkey but there is a side to him that will have you wanting to hug him and hold him tight . The author also shows his softer side and I truly like that side of him .  Maye well she is feisty and sweet, she doesn't let anyone or anything stand in her way . There is so much more to her then meets the eye . She is special and you will love her . Aden well he is God and man he is funny , watching him try and keep everyone in line . He does have some good one liners .  Oh just wait there is more  Anubis and Anput . They seem to be running amuck . Anput is well she is a b with and itch and wants to wreak havoc on the world . Anubis is well he is trying to stop her and also keep his daughter safe .

Ok I will admit i kind of squealed when i found out the author has written a spin off to the Daughter of Darkness series . So I grabbed it and sat down and started reading . I couldn't put it down or get the image of Lucifer in speedos out of my mind .  The characters are so well written and so funny . Trust me you will snort and laugh out loud .  The story is sweet and sexy . You will love it so if you want a funny book for the summer reading by the pool this is the one for you .

GOOD MONDAY ALL

Well it is the start of another hot work week here on the farm . I hope you all had a great weekend . Today I have a book for you that had me in tears through out it . This author usually doesn't evoke tears from me , maybe a little rage when he kills off a character I like but this book had me in tears . THE MUSIC OF MIDNIGHT  by Dallas Mullican .

                           BOOK BLURB

"Existential and profound, dark and beautiful, 'The Music of Midnight' is a tour-de-force." The Black and White Monthly

THE MUSIC OF MIDNIGHT

Born of guilt and grief, a colossal tower rises from the ruins of Andy Cates shattered mind.

He is the sole captive of a prison filled with countless rooms housing the memories of his life. Hoping answers and escape hide within, he investigates the rooms, moving ever upward toward the tower’s pinnacle. Across each threshold, scenes from his past are revealed. As he pieces experiences together, Andy discovers every observed event set another of his prison’s stones into place.

Stumbling room to room, plagued by horrific dreams and poignant memories, Andy longs to reclaim his life and attain a second chance at happiness and fulfillment. The path to escape will bring him face to face with his demons. The enigma of his prison is not easily solved. The tower wants to keep him…forever.

                        MY REVIEW
This book surprised me, Andy a young man who has been through so much in his life . Knowing that his mother died giving birth to him and his father trying to make him into something he doesn't want to be .  As he tries and work through his grief and guilt a colossal tower builds in his mind . That has been shattered , he is trying to work through the memories of his life . Wanting to put his life back together and have a second chance at happiness . The path to his forgiveness with bring him fact to face with his demons . Will he be able to come out the other end a happy and whole man or will the fortress of his demons keep him captive forever .

Ok I am going to say that the main characters Andy and Darren are written so well and they are both complex . Andy is a quiet musician who is on his way to Julliard . He is hiding a life of guilt that he survived and his mother died giving birth to him . He craves for his dads love , and wants to succeed to get that love . Darren is a funny, lovable oaf , who even though is bullied through out the book, is always smiling and cracking jokes . He loves to read and he is also hiding a big secret . One that according to his mother would send him to hell . They go through so much through high school but always seem to be there for each other . There are so many other characters that are important in Andy's story . The stranger is a figment trying to keep Andy in his tower . Taking him from room to room sometimes taunting Andy . All the characters from his father to Travis are so well written and they all add a layer to Andy's story .

I must say that this author blew me away with this book . I truly enjoyed his other books and this book is a little departure from his other books . The author really dug down deep in his soul to bring us the story of Andy . You just want to make sure that Andy is safe and loved from the very first page he is introduced . I couldn't put this book down I read it in a weekend . The twists and turns had me on the edge of me seat the whole time . I so wanted to save Andy and Darren . I mean what poor Darren had to endure and then what happened to him had me ugly crying cause you know that there are people struggling out there .  There were moments that you just want to wrap Andy up in a warm blanket and hug him tight and tell him that life will be ok.  I love that the author questions religion and what it means to be a good person . This is a gut wrenching read that will have you reading the day away . So if you want a book that will keep you up and have you rethinking the values of life for you today . This is the summer book for you .

                             MY REVIEW

Dallas King who is the banker who is fighting a few demons of his past . Will they be able to come to terms with their past and will they open themselves up to love .

The characters are well written and complex , I truly loved the characters in this story . Megan is a sweet Irish girl who has been put through so much . She is sassy and can take care of herself . She is also sweet and trying to keep her heart from getting hurt . She wants to be her own woman but also wants to take care of those that she loves .  Dallas is making a good life for himself on the frontier . He is a good man who is hiding a secret to his past . He has taken it upon himself to have a narrow view on how to be a gentleman. He is sweet and kind with Megan and tough as nails when it comes to protecting her . When something happens to Megan he has a total change of heart and he opens his heart up to all that are around him .  I really like them and Megan i love her feistiness and her love of all things . Dallas one moment you want to hug him and the next minute you really want to hit him with a frying pan. Together they play off each other great .

This is the first time I sat down and read a sweet historical romance and I was hooked . The characters were well written and the story moved really fast . I love the old west and when you throw in romance and gun fights and you have a winner . The author takes us on an epic adventure . I know this is the fifth book in the series but I read it and wasn't lost at all . I am sure you could read it as a stand alone  if you wanted to. This would be a great read for the campsite or the beach . You will love them as much as I do . So if you want a sweet western check them out

Once a famous knight, Lance Van Baaren still adheres to an original quest, and has sworn to protect the innocent. But can he allow Jessie solve her case when it means discovering the truth of her past, and what connects them?

                         MY REVIEW
When Jesse sees this man running in the field , there is a pull towards him that she can't deny . When she is hired to find a senators daughter , she finds more then she bargained for. She finds a piece of herself and her past but will they survive the mission and will they be able to connect with each other and the past that connects them .

I must say I truly like these characters , they are well written and complex .  Jesse is a tough as nails ex cop . She doesn't let anyone push her around she likes to take charge . There is a soft side to her that she wrestles with through out the book . Lance brings that out of her . She is a great herione . No nonsense and straight forward and kind of sassy .
Lance well besides being immortal , he is sexy and all alpha . There is more to him, he is a knight that is on a quest that will keep him going .  Ladies you will like him , you will want to hug him or climb him like a spider monkey . They are great characters on their own but when they come together they are explosive .
Stan ,Jesses' helicopter pilot will keep you in stitches , he is a great side kick for Jesse. They play off of each other and you will giggle at some of his antics

This book had me hooked by the second chapter . There is a real gothic feel to this book and there is some dark intense stuff going on . The characters are awesomely well written and complex . You will love them . There are twists and turns that will have you on the edge of your seat most of the time . There is also some romantic sexy times that could over heat your kindle just a little . I love reading this author , she writes intelligent romance novels . She will take you on an adventure ride that will leave you breathless and wanting more . So if you want a book that will take you away and let you fall in love with the characters . Check out this book , I would say this is a great read for beside the pool or at the beach . So add it to your summer reading list .

WELCOME TO THURSDAY

Welcome to Thursday or as I like to call it Friday eve .  Today I have a new book  PLANET SEEKERS , TEAM ALPHA by Tonya Cannariato

                           BOOK BLURB

Escaping Earth is only step one.

Dr. Marina Spitzer, botanist extraordinaire, is on a mission to save humanity—which is faltering on the edge of extinction after the nuclear fallout of WWIII decimated half of the Earth.

If she can work with the small team of space explorers searching for a new home for the survivors, she’ll have helped ensure her nieces and nephews are able to have a future.

Geologist Dr. Leonardo Federici is no less ambitious, even if his chosen field makes Rina suspect he has rocks rolling through his head. Especially once he makes it clear that he’s attracted to her—physically, intellectually, and emotionally.

But the team only has three days on TaoRuti 3 to determine whether to recommend the planet for colonization. There’s no time for emotional distractions as planetary instabilities catch everyone off-guard, with fatal results.

If they can survive this mission, Rina might have a future with Leo, but first they have to weather a planet that’s fighting dirty.

                         MY REVIEW
After WW3 destroys the planet a team is sent out to space to find a planet that can sustain human life . Dr Marrina Spitzer is part of that team along with  Dr. Leonardo Fedeici . They are sent to find a new world . Will Rina be able to work with Leon without her heart getting hurt and will they find a world that can save their families.

The characters are well written and complex. The main characters Rina and Leon are complext . Rina is a strong independant woman who is a well respected botanist who is willing to do almost anything to help her family . She is strongwilled and kind a sassy and a hard worker . I truly liked her character , she kicks some butt and puts the men in their place a few times .  Leon is a smart man a very smart man . and girls the geek like scientist is really hot . He is attracted to Rina and does everything to get her into his arms . I liked him he was a good guy who didn't come off as a cad . They are strong characters but together they make a great team

When I sat down to read this book I didn't really know where the author was going to take me .  I was pleasently surprised  I was hooked from the second chapter . There are twists and turns that had me trying to figure out if they are going to survive . Will they find a planet to live .  The characters are well written and you will cheer for them . This is a fast read that will have you on the edge of your seat most of time . There are some romantic times but over all we have a mission to find a new earth . This could be a good book for your summer reading list . Check it out

WELCOME TO WEDNESDAY

Well it is Wednesday and I have a new release from one of my all time favourite authors  BEWITCH ME  by Marianne Morea .

                              BOOK BLURB

Gareth?
In the flesh, love.
But…you’re dead.
Ah, well. There’s dead and then there’s dead-dead.

Lane Alden stared at the man she once loved. The same man she mourned and never really got over. Yet here he stood, outside the infamous backrooms of the Red Veil, the underground vampire club where blood and sex rule, and anything goes. But anything goes was a distraction she didn’t need. Especially not one that made her mouth water and her nether bits throb. She had a witch to find. A sister witch who went missing after taking a walk on the wild side. Finding a Dark Fae may have played a role in her friend’s disappearance, she can only wonder if the man she loved and lost was back in her life for the same reason. Coincidence? Not a chance.

                          MY REVIEW

Holy welcome back to the Red Veil , Where your wildest dreams may come true .  Laney and her best friend Eve decide to head to the infamous Red Veil for a night of fun. When  Laney tries to find her friend in the back rooms , she runs into the man that she thought was long dead , she mourned for him but there he was .  Gareth the man who stole her heart and still has her heart . He is there to help her get her friend back . Will they survive heading to the land of Fae and will they be able to keep their hearts intact and keep their love strong..

This book has it all Vampires , witches and fae . I love the main characters Laney and Gareth . Laney is a strong woman who likes to have some fun . There is more to her though.  She is tough and sassy and can take care of herself a lot of the time . Gareth well lets just say he has been dipped in the sexy sauce just a few times . He just oozes sex and can tempt even the hardest woman out there . Yes ladies he is cute too . You will want him to hug or climb like a spider monkey.  They are great characters on their own but together they are hot , hot , hot.

I was so excited when I found out that there was going to be another book in the Red Veil series . I love this series and when I sat down and devoured the book . I couldn't put it down . The characters are so well written and complex and we get to visit a new realm the land of the faries .  The author brings in characters from the other books and they blend seamlessly into the stories perfectly . There are twists and turns that will keep you on the edge of your seat and there are also some very smexy scenes that might set your kindle on fire .  You can read this story as a stand alone but I am sure that once you dive into the series you will want to read them all . So if you like vampires , witches and faries . This is the book for you . I would add it to your summer reading challenge . It is a great beach read .
