                         MY REVIEW 

 Reid Sullivan works for the Elite Escorts and has a specialty of being the third in a threesome and he is really good at his job. But he is getting bored of what he is doing. Until the day he is asked to take Jessica Lindy out on a date. She is a single mom who well hasn't been out on a date for a long time . She is just surviving with her daughter. Sparks fly but they both have been hurt before. When her past comes back to haunt her Reid will do whatever it takes to save the two people that now have become his world.

 Ok here we go the author really loves to write some very sexy but hurting characters and she doesn't stop with Reid and Jessica . Reid is well he is a playboy who is working as an escort to help with the pain of a past heartbreak. He is tall and sexy and a real alpha but he is hiding a hurt that is keeping him from having it all. Jessica is a sweet woman who is well just surviving . She is trying to keep her and her daughter safe while she works hard and gives everything to her daughter. They are such a sweet couple when they are together even as just being friends you really get to feel the tension between them. They were a fun couple to read.

  This is one of those books that will have you hot and bothered through out.  The characters are well written and the author can write them with such angst all you want to do is love and take care of them. There is a lot of hotness that goes on through out the book but the times I loved were the family times the characters had as a family . The daughter made the book for me made it lighter and added some great laughs through out. This is one of those books that would make a great beach read .  Check them out

  Good morning my peeps , I hope you week is going well and you are enjoying the sun or the rain if you are lucky enough to get rain. Today I have for you book 29 in the Haven Hollow Series by Hp Mallory and J.R Rain. VELVET VOODOO.

First problem? Maverick and his bad attitude are going to cause the death of me. Thank God he’s got Taliyah to keep him somewhat sane because otherwise, I’d start pulling my hair out.

Not only is Maverick cramping my style big time, but then there’s the fact that I have to pretend that I’ve been turned into a vampire, so going out in the daytime is no longer a possibility.

And try being High Witch to your coven when you can only come out at night…

Meanwhile, I’m doing my very best to get Imani to join our ranks, and I’m stressed.

Especially because things in Scapegrace Coven aren’t exactly jolly at the moment, everyone seems to be at everyone else’s throats, and when a box of love letters goes missing, that just kicks off our own civil war.

Add to that a vampire who appears to be on the loose in Haven Hollow, a body showing up on my doorstep, and a ransacked store, and what’s that spell?

                     MY REVIEW 

 Wanda is not having the best week, between trying to act like a vampire and get a dress done for a new member of the coven. She doesn't need the coven going at each other and a mystery of a box of love letter that have gone missing, to her store being tossed over and a body showing up dead . To top it off Maverick has been on her tail and grouchier then ever . What is a girl to do ?

 Wanda and the gang are back and well funnier then ever. Wanda is having a bad week she is trying to keep her secret under wraps and it is getting harder to do that turning her life upside down .She is becoming a softer not as explosive version of her earlier self. She has been through so much an I love the softer side of her. Maverick is well he is really being a grouch he is really not having a good day either. He has so much going on trying to keep up appearances and helping out Wanda and that is leading him to bite off everyone's head . He is really trying to not let everything get to him but there are moments . The rest of the gang is back too and funnier then ever. 

   This is book 29 in the series but don't let that fact get you done. They are a fast read that will have you laughing all the way through them.  The characters are ever evolving and becoming more and more complex with each book.  The authors have built a great town in Haven Hallow and it just keeps growing and growing . Over all I really enjoyed this installment but I did feel it was kind of in a rut. A lot of past installment was rehashed through out the book. I did feel that was kind of repetitive . Over all I truly enjoyed this book and the  rest of the series. This would be a great beach read series for this summer so check it out.

    Grant Wade has a lot on his plate, a former Texas Ranger and the alpha of the Desperado wolf pack. Now he has to deal with Paxton Hall a woman with a past and owner of the land around the ghost town. There is also a threat coming at them and Grant doesn't know if he can figure out what is going on and what is actually going on Paxton and what she really is . Why she is bringing up feelings and desires in him and why the rogue is after her . 

   Grant and Paxton are a couple that will keep you on your toes. Grant is the alpha of the Desperado wolf pack that uses the ghost town as their sanctuary. He is an imitating force of nature as a man but as a wolf he is amazing. He just oozes confidence and is just as sexy as sin.  Paxton well lets just say that she is one determined woman. She comes off as a little bit of a city girl who knows everything but soon gets schooled on what it really means to be part of the Arizona desert.  She also has a way of getting into trouble and she is feisty and wants to figure out what is up on her own. Which honestly could get her killed if she doesn't watch herself. There is an instant attraction between the two of them and you can feel it come off the pages. I will say that the characters are well written and complex and you will love them and at the same time you want to smack them both up side the head and knock some sense into them

 This is the third book in the series but it takes place a few years ahead of the first two books. I am truly loving this series so much, the characters are so well written and complex , you find yourself falling for each of them for their quirks and their assets. Each character has a way of getting into your heart. The author paints such a wonderful backdrop of the desert and what can be hiding out in the wilds.  Its summertime and you know everyone needs a good summer love story to keep you happy with a little mystery thrown in for good measure. This book has it and much more. You don't need to read the first two books but it would be a good idea each book is a book about a couple . So if you want a fun summer read check out the Wolves of the West series and fall in love .

                     MY REVIEW 

 Twila is well she is still having a bad day, they seem to be just bleeding into each other .She is trying to come to terms with her feelings for her boyfriend Dean the town sheriff and Alton who came back into her and Sicily. It is even worse that Dean and Alton are combining forces and building the new police force, On top of that the mother n law from well you all know where is there demanding time with her granddaughter . If she can handle all that she can handle the new threat to their tiny community. After finding a black bear dead in the middle of the street they are sent off on a new mystery stalking its way around the woods. 

  Twila and the gang are back and funnier then ever. Twila is conflicted in this book her feelings are leading her in circles. Between being torn between the two men in her life, trying to keep her daughter safe and trying not to unalive her mother n law . Her day is pretty full. She is a great friend and mother but still is hiding a few things from those around her. Alton and Dean are basically the same guy in a way . Alton is debonair  and as sweet as all go get and Twila's ex, he is a good guy with a heart of gold . Dean is also a great guy with a deep respect and love for Twila and Sicily. They both are great guys . We get to meet a redcap in this installment a  young girl who with anger issues has been wandering the woods feeling so angry that she is killing animals to help with what she has become .Redcaps are a mythological creature that kills and dips his hat in the blood to calm himself. I love these core characters so very much they have grown and become more complex with each book and we get to meet new characters along the way. 

  This I think is one of the more fun books in the series , we really get to see more of what goes on day to day in town and we get to see a lot more angst with Twila and the two men in her life. I can't wait to see where the authors are going to take the characters and what is going to be coming up next in the series . Such a fun series to read this summer , check it out You will not be disappointed .

  Michelina is finding out more and more about her family she never knew. Secrets that can get you killed The more she learns the more her life is in danger. Luca is trying to keep everyone safe especially Michelina the woman he loves. But, when a bullet that is meant for his brother, he takes and the truth is about to come out. Agosto thought he was doing the right thing, maybe he thought he was doing the right thing but then maybe he might be setting everyone up to be taken out . 

  Michelina and Luca are back and fighting for their lives. Michelina has had a lot thrown at her in such a short time. She is still a little naive but getting stronger with each thing that is thrown at her and that is a lot of stuff. She is finally finding her back bone and trying to figure out how to save herself and the family. Luca is finding himself falling for Michelina and being confused , he has a job to do but he is wanting more from his life and Michelina is what he wants . He is at a cross roads and wants to do what is right for the family but also wants to have his life start.  Between friends and family who can you trust and these characters are being put through the ringer . Agosto is trying to right the past and find his brothers books . Agosto is an old man who is trying to figure out his place in the world where things are changing everyday. He wants to keep everyone safe but there is a price that they all must pay to stay safe. He is sweet but can still be as cunning as a snake . He will do whatever it takes to keep everyone safe. Jessica well she is the one that takes control but deep down inside I think there is a scared little girl that just wants to be loved . There were moments that I really just wanted to smack her upside the head but she did redeem herself and became the character that everyone needed . These characters are getting more and more complex with each book and you will love them for what they are and what they will become. 

 This is the second book in the series and leaves off where book one ended . The story is picking up and getting better with each turn of the page. There are twists and turns that had me on the edge of my seat most of the way through. The characters are very well written and becoming more and more complex. There is romance , yes i said romance, and the mystery of who is trying to kill them and also a story of a family that has been torn apart but trying to figure out who knows what and when things went down. Yes it is a mafia story but it also has a heart behind it . I truly enjoyed the story and I really want to know where the author is taking them. I really want to know how things are going to end and who survives the aftermath. This would be a great series for you summer reading list . It is a fast read and you will get sucked in and not put it down, Check it out and add it to your tbr pile .

                    MY REVIEW 

     Ivy is a witch's apprentice who has been untouched by the sleeping curse that was set in motion by Dahlia's spinning wheel which has been untouched under glass for generations. When  Ivy's friends persuade her to head to Chillbury things start to happen. The voices in her head are warning her and the visions she is getting are telling her something but Ivy can't figure them out. Until her friend falls under the spell of the sleeping curse. Now she has to listen to those voices and save them all from the curse if she fails everyone will be cursed to sleep. Will she be able to break the curse or will she be trapped forever in the castle. 

There are such fun characters in this story. Ivy is a sweet girl that is stronger then you think. She may come off as a little naive sometimes but she is a fighter. Fox is the young man who is there to help Ivy figure everything out . There are moments when Fox comes off cocky and kind of a wanker . The characters are vast and varied and well written . 

  This is a well told fairy tale with a great twist , the author takes us on an adventure through magic and curses and what one can do when confronted with something they aren't aware of . I love that fact that the author mashed together sleeping beauty and the snow queen into a good story of friends and what you do to help them out. I did feel the book was a bit rushed towards the end but over all I did really enjoy the story and the twists of the fairy tale . I am going to say that kids between the ages of 12 and up could read this book and love it cause it really does have a good ya feel to it . So if you want a fun fast read for your summer list or even your teen agers book list check it out .
