                            BOOK BLURB

Christian has done it again. This is one gnomeling who keeps messing up-even when he's trying to do well! Can a gnomeling ever get a break?

In book 3 of "The Tales of Christian Tompta," Papa joins Christian as he journeys to Joddeburg, the gnome village. While traveling, they meet up with old friends, greet new gnomes, see how different their lives could be, and explore the renowned Gnomympic Games! Who will compete? Will the Gnome Council find out about his latest caper? What disasters will Christian face this time? Will he finally earn his mystical shoes and conical to become a human guardian, or will he give up all he has worked toward, and go home?

                          MY REVIEW
What is a Gnomiling to do , poor Christian has gone and done it again . While traveling to Joddeburg with his father they meet of with some new gnomes and some old friends . As we know nothing ever seems to go right when Christian is involved .

In this book we meet some new characters that are colourful and well written . They are very interesting  creatures. We also get to see how Christian is with his dad . His papa is a sweet kind gnome that wants to see Christian succeed . I truly loved these characters and the way they interact with each other .

This is a sweet story and it teaches us a lesson that if you screw up you can come back from it . Christian is a sweet bumbling gnomeling and he seems to always be screwing up . But it also says that you can come back from screwing up and do something extraordinary. The story is a great read for those between the ages of 5 - 10 they will love the characters and the illustrations that go along with the story . The story is easy to read and you will love it also .  You will really want to know if poor Christian gets his cone hat and his shoes . You will cheer him on and laugh with him and cry with him . I would add this to any middle graders reading challenge .

ITS THE LAST WEEKEND OF SUMMER

Wow its the end of August the summer went by so fast . Today I have the finally book in the Ashwood series for you . TROUBLE UNDONE by Kinney Scott

                             BOOK BLURB

Three different men try to tame Kelsey. Only one makes her come undone.
Kelsey Fisher refuses to mask the qualities that make her successful.
Is she competitive? All day long.
Aggressive? Sure, when she needs to be.
Impatient? Ask the guy she just passed on the highway - he’s probably still coughing on the dust left by her wake.
She’s hard to take, but Kels can’t compromise.
As an owner of Venture, an outdoor guiding business, she needs those qualities to face the challenge of a remote mountain trail or a run on a class-five river.
Yet, there a times when she needs to unplug and go way off grid.
Only one man understands her softer side – the surfer she crosses paths with on the Oregon Coast. He’s uncomplicated, gorgeous, effortless.
Unfortunately, Mark’s destined to follow the waves and move on.
                          MY REVIEW
Kelsey is competitive and aggressive no man can tame her . Owning an outfitting , guiding company she has to be tough to keep her clients safe . There are times when she needs to unwind, unplug and just get off the grid . There is only one man that knows her softer side she can't keep her mind off of him but Mark has a destiny to follow the waves .

Mark and Kelsy's story is a hard story , they go through so much . Kelsey is a feisty .sassy woman . She is out going and fun . There is more to her , there is a hurt there in her heart . She is stronger then most people think she is and after her accident we see her fight even harder to get back what she has lost. Mark is an easy going surfer who just wants to hang out and hit the waves. He is a sweet guy but sometimes he does come off just a little bit shallow. When he is with Kelsey things seem to change in both of them. Now there is Parker , she is a crafty one that woman . You really can't trust her at all . She just seems to want to hurt everyone around her.

I honestly think that this book is the one that the author has poured all her angst into . The characters are very well written and complex . There are moments you want to wrap the characters up in blankets and hug them tight .  Their story is very complex and there are moments that you will cry and laugh and there are moments when you think of what you would do in the situation they are in . The author takes us on a very emotional roller coaster ride in this final book .  This book shows us about family and true friends and what they will do to help you out . This is a great book and I think the whole series should be on your tbr list for this fall . Check them out .

                            BOOK BLURB

Christian knows that the assignment will be dangerous, and he will be alone. What will his charge be? Will he be able to complete his mission? Or will he freeze from fear, panic and fail?

Join Christian on his adventure to find the answers to these questions and more."

                        MY REVIEW
Christian Tompta is a young gnome who is living a quiet life amongst the books with his family . As his thirteenth birthday approaches he feels a stirring for adventure . As the culture dictates on his thirteenth birthday he must go on a quest to earn his hat and magical slippers and get the name of the human he will be protecting .As the time comes near he is full of anxiety and fear . Will he be able to handle the quest or will his fear get the better of him .

This is a sweet story and the characters are well written . Christian is a sweet gnome who just wants to help his human and be amongst his books .  He is sweet and kind but also has insecurties about what he has to do . We watch him come to terms with the anxiety that he has and he becomes brave with the help of a bunny that saves him time after time.

This is a sweet coming of age book and it was a joy to read it as an adult . The characters are well written  and the story is sweet and also has a lesson to learn about coming through your fears and conquering them . The author built a world that is fantasy and sweet that your kids will be caught up in . The story can be enjoyed by you and your kids .  Get this book for your kids for the cool fall nights .

WELCOME TO TUESDAY

Wow I can't believe it is that last week in August where did the summer go . I hope everyone had some great books that they got read this summer . To start off our Fall reading challenge I have a new author to introduce you to . O.E Tearmann . THE HANDS WE'RE GIVEN ( Aces high. Jokers wild book one )

                         BOOK BLURB

Aidan Headly never wanted to be the man giving orders. That's fine with the Democratic State Force base he's been assigned to command: they don't like to take orders. Nicknamed the Wildcards, they used to be the most effective base against the seven Corporations owning the former United States in a war that has lasted over half a century. Now the Wildcards are known for creative insubordination, chaos, and commanders begging to be reassigned.
Aidan is their last chance. If he can pull off his assignment as Commander and yank his ragtag crew of dreamers and fighters together, maybe they can get back to doing what they came to do: fighting for a country worth living in.

Life's a bitch. She deals off the bottom of the deck. But you play the hands you're given.

                         MY REVIEW
The Wildcards are the unit that you go to when you need things done and have no worries on how it get done. Aiden Headly is the one who is in command of this ragtag crew , he really doesn't want to be the commander . Can he get his team to come together and do the job that needs to be done so they can fight for a country that is worth living in .

The characters in this book are well written and very complex .  Each member of the team has a mind set that is beneficial for the team.  There is more to the characters then just the skills they have . Each member has a well not a secret but there is more to them then meets the eye. Aiden is a trans gender and Kevin is gay and grew up differently then the rest of the team . I truly loved how these characters come together and become the team that they are suppose to be .

The ideals of this dystopian tale are so real . The idea of having the perfect world and pushing those who don't come up to the standards out to the outskirts . This story has it all . We have those who want to fight for the rights for all and those who want those that are different destroyed . I like that the author used LGBT characters and shone a light on those that are different . They are such good characters I was cheering for them all the way through their missions . The book has some great twists and turns that will keep you reading.  This isn't a love story but the author does mix a little bit of romance in . There were a few parts in the book that i felt that were slow but over all I truly enjoyed this book and was glad when I found it . So if you want a different story set in a futuristic dystopia book check it out and add it to your fall reading list

WELCOME TO SUNDAY

Welcome to a humid Sunday on the ranch. The best day to stay inside and read which is what I am doing . Today I have the first book in Kinney Sott's  Ashwood series . INHERITING TROUBLE .

                            BOOK BLURB

Natalie must redefine her future, but the carpenter she hires tangles her in knots.
Natalie Journey knows better. She’s always chosen the right thing, the sensible path. When had sensible started to feel so boring?
Buried in debt, she takes a barista job at her grandfather’s retirement community. A safe position, that pays well. Unfortunately, now her idea of rebellion is sneaking an extra squirt of whipped cream on her iced coffee.
She always dreamed of something different, exciting - to travel in a tiny home and photograph landscapes.
Tragic changes grant her wish, and suddenly designing her tiny home is within reach.
But the rugged craftsman Natalie hires has hidden talents she never expected. And with the way his leather tool belt hangs on his hips, she’s ready to give the sexy man control.
Seth takes one glance at the alluring redhead and almost walks the other way. Yet, her tempting curves have Seth wondering if a summer fling might be worth the risk.
Natalie’s not long term. When the final coat of paint dries on her tiny home, she’ll be gone.
Worlds collide in a sexy small town romance where Seth a Natalie must choose. Do they stick to careful plans or build an unpredictable future together?

                          MY REVIEW
Lets head to Ashwood a small town where everyone knows everyone . Meet Seth the sexy craftsman that builds tiny homes for a living . When Natalie shows up wanting a tiny home built . Sparks fly and they both think a summer fling would be fun but can they stop there or are they willing to go the whole nine yards .

There are so many characters in this book we have the two main characters Natalie and Seth . They are well written . Then there are co workers Kent for one and cousins and friends . Also there are family members. They all have a place in the book and you will love or hate each and everyone of them
Oh yeah there is also Wade's ex wife who still likes to bump uglies with Wade on occasion. I love each and everyone of the characters . Wade is sexy and also really pocessive when it comes to Natalie . He wants her but is so scared to take the plunge cause he knows she is going to be leaving him . Natalie is sweet and feisty but she has always done the right thing . Now its her time to shine and do what she wants to do and spread her wings and fly . I like them and they are great when they get together .

I accidently read these books out of sequence but that didn't stop me from liking them. I really like small town stories . The author packs so much into this first book . We meet so many characters and the author sets up the characters for the rest of the series . Each character is well written and you will love them or hate them . The author has small town pegged , about everyone knowing everyones business before you do most of the time . The romance is hot hot hot , trust me you imagination will take over as you read . This is a sweet series that has small town values and some of the hotttest people out there . The first book in the series is free . So check it out  and add it to your fall reading list

HAPPY SATURDAY ALL

Welcome to Saturday everyone hope you weekend is going well . Today I have the next book in the Awakened series. ZERO ROGUE  by Matthew S Cox.

                          BOOK BLURB

Division 0 Officer Aaron Pryce understood any day on the job could be the last for him or his wife—but he never imagined he’d be the one to kill her.

As it turned out, the world of professional sports frowned on using Telekinesis on the field. So, a “career ending injury” quietly sent him to West City to escape anti-psionic Britain. Joining Division 0 made for a drastic change of lifestyle for a once-famous Frictionless player, but meeting Allison made his exile worth it.

Two years into his new life as a cop, he corners a psionic suspect in the middle of a robbery… and she compels Aaron to shoot his partner. Despite his love for his wife, he loses an agonizing battle of wills. His mind—and his world—shatter. When he wakes, the store is gone. Only a field of debris and dead civilians remains.

A department telepath attempts to verify his story, but triggers another fatal backlash, killing several officers. Considered a murderer with out-of-control powers, Aaron has no choice but to go rogue.

On the run from the law, he has one goal: to find the woman who killed Allison—and end her.

                           MY REVIEW
When officer Aaron Pryce took the job in Division 0 he knew that any day could be his last but he never thought that he would be the one to kill his partner and his wife . When one day he corners a psionic in the middle of a robbery. She compels him to kill his wife and his world shatters . When a telepath tries to help him out there is a backlash that kills a few officers . So he has no choice but to go Rogue . To clear his name he has to find the woman who made him kill his wife and bring her down .

I truly love the characters in this series . The author writes some really complex characters that are usually broken at the beginning but we get to see them heal as the story goes on . Case in point Aaron is a broken shell of a man since his wife was murdered . All he wants to do is find the woman who compelled him. He is a strong man but he is so broken and just wants to be free of the pain he is suffering .  He is you classic tortured character and you will love him ,

This book is for anyone who loves a good sci fi mixed in with a little cyber punk . The author takes us on a ride that has so many twists and turns . Once you start reading you can't put it down . The story will have you on the edge of your seat most of the time . I couldn't put it down . I love how each character in the series is evolving and growing .  I recommend this series for those who really love a good dystopian sci fi read . It may seem long but once you start reading the time passes for fast . You will get sucked in and love the characters . So add this series to your fall reading list .

MADE IT TO FRIDAY

Well made it to Friday and today I have TROUBLE BREWING IN ASHWOOD  by Kinney Scott

                           BOOK BLURB

“Well-crafted, intriguing, suspenseful, has drama and steam. The characters are well defined…with sizzling chemistry.” Kathy B.
“Suspenseful, emotional, and sexy…” Debbie O.

She owns the local dive bar. He brews terrific beer.
Kegs collide when Iris and Wade cater a surprise party together. They learn that one hot night doesn’t come with any long-term guarantees.

Wade takes off for Vegas to line up investors for his popular brewery. Those investors come with one enticing string attached - Ravenna - A beautiful executive sent to guide his brewery’s expansion.
Will this petite woman use her power to control Wade’s future? Or, will she warn the brewer about a plot that could bring him down?
Temptation and obsession collide as Wade finds himself trapped between trust and lust.
Trouble Brewing is a love triangle romance with a splash of suspense and plenty of heat.
Read this captivating romance novel as a standalone or as the second book in the Ashwood series.

                          MY REVIEW
Welcome back to Ashwood .  Wade is working hard on expanding his brewery and when he comes back from Vegas he has investors for his brewery but they come with strings . When Ravenna walks into Wade's life she has the power to either save him and his brewery or destroy it .Will they be able to put their past behind them and find the love that they deserve .

The characters in this story are well written and you will like them . Wade is a sweet guy that is so stressed out . He is trying hard to be there for everyone and get his brewery up and running .There is a lot of pressure to be the best . I was kind of mad at him from jumping from Iris to Ravenna . I wanted to slap him . I felt that he was a cad when he did that . Iris is the sweet owner of the bar and grill in town and she and Wade are best friends but they do have a spark when you start reading the story. Ravenna well she is sexy and kind of devious . You will like her and hate her at the same time she is sweet and kind deep down you will either like her or hate her.

When I sat down to read this book I was a little bit off kilter . I actually was reading them out of order so I was a little confused at the beginning , but by the 2nd chapter I had it all figured out . Wade and Iris are a great couple but Wade and Ravenna are a super hot couple . The story has intrigue , romance and lots of laughs and some tears will flow .   There are some twists and turns that will keep turning pages all night long . There is a few spots where it seemed to be a little slow and you kind of feel like you are getting a little bogged down . That didn't stop me from loving the story and the characters . This would be a great book to curl up with in front of a fire with a nice glass of wine . Add it to your fall reading list

HAPPY RELEASE WEEK

Happy Release week to one of my all time favourite authors . OF BLOOD AND MAGIC ( Cursed in blood series book 8 ) by Marianne Morea .

                            BOOK BLURB

Eric…stop. My blood could kill you.
Witch blood is a crap shoot for any vampire, Blair.
Please, I don’t want to risk it. I love you…

Eric Fraser is the stuff of gothic romances. From the battlefields of the first World War, to a chance encounter with walking death on a desolate stretch in Northern France, he’s Heathcliff of Wuthering Heights meets Bram Stoker’s Dracula. Gorgeous. Brooding. Sexy. And Undead. After a century of lonely waiting, he’s finally found a family and a place he calls home, but the fates aren’t done messing with him. Chance brings him the woman of his dreams. Beautiful. Sexy. Smart. And a Witch. The one supernatural being whose blood could deliver final death or enslave him. Is love worth the chance?

                           MY REVIEW
It is so great to go back to a series that you adore and find new characters mixed in with some old characters that you have loved since the begining . Eric Fraser well his is what you want in a man , and when Blair meets him she is instantly attracted to him . With his brooding good looks and his charm that can melt your heart . They are thrown together to fight a force and find themselves . Will their love be able to fight the curse of final death that she poccesses .

Ok I squealed when I found out that this book was coming out . There are some well loved characters that are back and then there are the main characters Eric and Blair . Eric is what i will say gothic dreams are made of . He is alluring , brooding and oh my goodness oh so sexy. He is also plagued by dreams that are driving him to figure out what is happening . He is one of the good guys . Trust me ladies you will love him .  Blair is well she is feisty and sassy , she is also a little scary with what she can do . She is a witch and something more hidden deep inside her . I like them as characters on their own but together they are great and oh so passionate . There are some great recurring characters that make an appearance . Carlos and Julian are back giving Eric a hard time . Sean and Natasha make an appearance and so does Remy and Dominic all make an appearance to help Eric and Blair out.

Ok I will admit i kind of fangirled when i heard this book was out . This is the first series that i fell in love with . This book is no exception I couldn't put this book down . The characters are well written and complex . I love how the author can slip characters from the other books in the series into the story line and it all fits perfectly . There are moments in this book that will make you laugh out loud . Some of the quips between Eric and Blair will make you snort . And the romance well ladies be prepared to fan yourselves and be careful you kindles might start to melt . There are some twists and turns that will keep you reading well into the night . If you want to read a good vampire story this is the book you should read .You can read it as a stand alone but I really suggest you read the whole series for some fun sexy times . Add this book to your fall reading list .

ITS MONDAY

Welcome to Monday everyone, hope you are well caffeinated and enjoying this August day . Today we have the 4th book in THE LOST CITY  series . BLAZE'S INFERNO  by D.L Colon .

                            BOOK BLURB

Rick Blaze thinks he’s the fire user, but all that is going to change. He can hear the calls, but doesn’t know where they are coming from or who it is calling him. As the call gets stronger each day that pass and he’s forced to leave his Guild behind and search for the owner of the mysterious voice that continuously calls him.
Kenna Flames, Goddess of Fire and owner of the Holy Flames, is forced to step out and defend the Temple of her ancestors as the Saviors are approaching. They want the Holy Flame. She is forced to use her powers to compel all the fire users to defend her, but she realizes too late that all fire users are heading her way for another reason entirely; the Holy Flames are calling them. What may be her last chance may also be her doom.
When Blaze arrives at the Temple he is met by a lot of fire users and they are trying to touch a blue flame. He also sees the most beautiful woman he has ever laid his eyes on.
As he looks upon the flame he hears a voice in his head saying; You have come, chosen one. Will you be strong enough to survive my touch or just absolve like all the ones before you?
Will Blaze know where the voices come from and will Kenna be able to protect her temple from the Saviors?
Will Rick help her or will he doom us all?

                            MY REVIEW
When Blaze hears a voice calling to him , he is forced to leave his Guild and look for the woman behind the voice . When he meets Kenna, the owner of Holy Flames , there are sparks and when he sees the blue flame the voice that has been calling to him has a question to ask him . Will Blaze and Kenna save the temple and stop the Saviors from coming . Or will Rick doom them all .

You will know most of the characters if you have read the other books . They have really become well written and each book they become more complex . The two main characters Blaze and Kenna are well written . Blaze is a little arrogant as he meets up with Kenna . You either want to slap him or hug him . There is a secret that he is carrying around with him that makes him relatable .  Kenna is tough as all get go , she is ready to defend what is hers .  She is a cool character you will like her. Noryad and Coral are back with their own set of problems and what they should do during battle,

I have been waiting for this book for a long time . When I finally got it I had to dive in right away . The author takes us on an adventure that had me turning pages . The characters are well written and you will like them . There are some twists and turns that will have you going what the heck . The only thing that I found with this book is the chapters are shorter and I am thinking that the author could of flushed it out just a little bit more . Over all I really enjoyed this book and I am so glad the author finished it .  So if you want a good book for this fall check out the series

WELCOME TO FRIDAY

Well must say its been a busy week and I am so very happy it is Friday . Today I have a sci fi book for you . PORTALS by Savannah Verte .

                            BOOK BLURB

The fate of the Aradian world depends on a single lesson.
Can they survive long enough to learn it?

A banishment portal meant for one becomes a catalyst to destiny for seven brothers who pass through. Their journey takes them between worlds, time, and back again, revealing truths they were never supposed to uncover: everything they’ve believed for a millennia is false, they are pawns on someone else’s game board, and, they are all expendable. Between the world they know, and the ones they don’t are more portals, each with truths waiting to be revealed.

Can they turn the tables, reclaim their lives, reunite with their mates, and end the game? Or, will their world be lost forever before they can return?

Truth takes time…theirs is running out.

                          MY REVIEW
First thing I am going to say that this is a long book , The fate of Aradian is in the hands of seven brothers that are banished through a portal . They are revealing truths as they travel between worlds and time . Can they figure out who's game board they are pawns on and will they ever get back to their mates or will their world be lost forever .

The characters in this book are well written and complex. As each brother figures out what is going on another brother is on the way to solve another problem . There is a mixture of mythology and lore in this story that will keep you liking the brothers . They are all strong alpha men and trust me you will love them and want to have them all to yourself .

The story is a fun read but be prepared to snuggle down and be in for a long haul . It is a long book but the story is rich and the characters are well written . You will love the different worlds that each brother goes through and you will want to help them solve the mystery of why the truths they thought they knew were false .  There are many twists and turns that will keep you turning the pages . I think the only draw back from me giving it 5 stars . Is the length I felt that it was just a tad too long and just a couple of areas kind of dragged a bit . Over all I really did enjoy this book and love reading other books from this author . So this book would be a great read for a long winters night .

HAPPY RELEASE DAY

Today we have another release day book . ANGEL ( a sacred oath series book one ) a reverse harem by HP Mallory

                              BOOK BLURB

“If the angel has no wings, there’s no amount of my shadow magic that could make them appear,” I say.
It takes the sprite a moment or two to understand what I’m getting at. Once he does, his eyes go wide and he begins shaking his head, holding up his hands in obvious supplication.
“Look, Shadow Prince, I dunno why yer magic ain’t workin’ but I’m tellin’ you what I saw. This angel got her wings,” the sprite says, but he appears nervous. “You’ll see. Besides, it ain’t like yer jist gonna leave her here, are ya?” He glances around and seems to become frightened by his surroundings.
The Shadow Realm is hardly safe, littered as it is by bloodthirsty creatures and the undead. Were I to leave the sprite and the girl here alone, they would undoubtedly be killed within a half hour, at most.
And even I’m not that horrible.

New York Times Bestselling Author, HP Mallory, brings you The Sacred Oath Series which will appeal to Reverse Harem, Why Choose readers

I don’t know who I am or where I came from.
The only thing I do know is that I’m running from something.
And there’s a voice inside my head that guides my every move…

When I’m taken prisoner to be thrust into a lifetime of prostitution, I learn I’m an angel. Yes, I bear the markings on my back: markings that reveal my wings have been removed. But when my only ally, a foul-mouthed sprite, insists my wings are intact, I realize the danger I’m facing.

I need protection. And that protection can only come from three magically powerful men who were destined to protect the balance between shadow and light:

Dragan, a gargoyle and the King of Shadow;
Cambion, an elf and the King of Nature;
and Baron, a vampire and the King of Death.

At one time there were four but Variant, the King of Light, grew greedy and usurped control for himself. He banished Cambion to the fae realm and Dragan to the shadow realm. And he murdered Baron.

And now Variant is after me.

Eilish doesn't know where she came from or even who she is . She is thrown into a life of prostitution , she learns that she is an Angel but  she has no wings . She needs protection and that comes from 3 very different magical men . Will they survive what is after Eilish

This author can write some very great characters and these characters are no exception . They are well written and complex.  Each of the male characters is different but yet deep down they are the same . Dragan is the Gargoyle and the king of shadow . He is dark and brooding and lets say that he is sexy as sin . There is something about him that will draw you in and make your heart beat a little faster . Cambion is and elf and the king of nature . There seems to be a lightness to him. I liked him  I just wanted to climb him like a spider monkey and then there is Baron a vampire and the king of death . He is well a vampire , all sexy and brooding but also a killer that you don't see coming .
Eilsh is timid but also in the same breath strong . She gets knocked down but keeps on going  . She could be one of my favourite new characters .

This story had me hooked from the second page. The characters are well written and i found I was caring for all of them at one point in the book . There are twists and turns through out the book that will keep you on the edge of your seat . This is my second reverse harem book and I must say that i liked it . There is a mystery and intrigue and your kindle will get warm with the romantice sexy scenes that go on. You should add this book to your fall reading challenge . You will not be disappointed .

HAPPY RELEASE DAY

Happy Release day to one of my favourite authors of dark twisted romance stories . BOUND  book 3 in the Tangled Web series by Aleatha Romig.

                             BOOK BLURB

From New York Times bestselling author Aleatha Romig comes a brand-new dark romance trilogy bringing us back to the same dangerous underworld as WEB OF SIN. You do not need to read the Web of Sin trilogy to get caught in this new and intriguing saga, Tangled Web.

With danger lurking around every corner and my life turned upside down, I struggle with who to believe and who to trust.

Can my heart convince my mind that what was bound long ago is where I’ll find love, safety, and security?

Or are the memories simply an illusion?

BOUND is book three, the final book of the TANGLED WEB trilogy that began with TWISTED and OBSESSED and is concluding with BOUND.

Have you been Aleatha’d?

                     MY REVIEW
Ok taking a deep breath here, book three starts right where book two left off . Kader/ Mason  and Laurel are still trying to find out who wants her dead and wants her info on her drug trials. With the revealation of who Kader is has Laurel spinning could it be the boy she loved so long ago be the man standing in front of her . The man that could kill her just as easily as loving her .  They are bound to be together and the love that they had will come back and keep them safe . Or will the people that wants her dead finally get their way .

This story has such great characters , they are well written and complex . Kader/ Mason is such a complicated man . He has been through so much and has so much taken from him . You want to hug him and hold him tight . You will either want to hug him or hit him upside the head with a frying pan. He will drive you crazy some times . But oh when he finally lets go and lets down his defenses he becomes more lovable . I loved it when he let down defenses and you get to see the reall man behind the tattoos and cold facade he has
Laurel well she is still a tough cookie that is an over thinker . She wants to go home but she wants to find more of Kader and help him . She is loyal to her family and her friends and is loyal to the man that holds her heart . She does really become stronger through out this book . She even fights for her life and the man who loves her .  They are good characters on their own but together they are dynamite waiting to ignite

I need to catch my breathe after finishing this story , I needed to decompress and come to a realization that its over . I didn't want this series to end . The characters are well written and complex and the twists and turns the author takes us on is an unbelievable rollercoaster ride of emotions . There were moments that i was on the edge of my seat biting my finger nails hoping every one will be ok .  There were other moments I was fanning myself and my kindle was on fire from the romance heating up the screen. The series is dark and the intrigue will have you thinking about who is after them .  There is also a great tie in to another series her Tangled web series that will have you going WTH  and it will have you cheering . I seriously read this book in an evening I just couldn't put it down . I got sucked in and was on the edge of my seat almost the whole time I was reading . This author can do dark and twisted right . So if you want a great series for your fall reading list check them out . You will love it . Come to the dark side where the men are hot and the women who love them are strong.

GOOD FRIDAY ALL

Made it to Friday , today we are going to review DEAD OF WINTER  Good Good dog by Kyle Stark

                            BOOK BLURB

In the pantheon of superheroes, none are more loveable and loyal than everyone's favorite good ol' dog, Sparky. Surviving in the wintery apocalypse of the undead, this former TV show stunt dog turned zombie killing machine just wants to make friends and be a good boy. As his fellow survivors scavenge for supplies in the frigid wasteland, will Sparky be able to protect his companions from threats both undead and otherwise? Collects issues #1-4 from the "Good Good Dog" storyline from DEAD OF WINTER!

                            MY REVIEW
Sparky a good ol dog , is surviving the winter apocoalypse  full of zombies . The TV show stunt dog has turned into a zombie killing machine and just wants to get hugs from the people he is protecting .  Will Sparky be able to keep his people safe .

The characters in the graphic novel are well written. Sparky is a cross between best friend and a zombie killing machine . All he wants is family and scratches . The story is good and you are taken on an adventure that will have you cheering . The illustrations are well drawn and I love the way the author took them . The dialogue is a bit cheesy at times but that's what makes it such a cute comic. Its a different take on the zombie apocalypse . This is a fun book that will have you reading all night long
