Trouble Brewing is a love triangle romance with a splash of suspense and plenty of heat.
Read this captivating romance novel as a standalone or as the second book in the Ashwood series.

                          MY REVIEW
Welcome back to Ashwood .  Wade is working hard on expanding his brewery and when he comes back from Vegas he has investors for his brewery but they come with strings . When Ravenna walks into Wade's life she has the power to either save him and his brewery or destroy it .Will they be able to put their past behind them and find the love that they deserve .

The characters in this story are well written and you will like them . Wade is a sweet guy that is so stressed out . He is trying hard to be there for everyone and get his brewery up and running .There is a lot of pressure to be the best . I was kind of mad at him from jumping from Iris to Ravenna . I wanted to slap him . I felt that he was a cad when he did that . Iris is the sweet owner of the bar and grill in town and she and Wade are best friends but they do have a spark when you start reading the story. Ravenna well she is sexy and kind of devious . You will like her and hate her at the same time she is sweet and kind deep down you will either like her or hate her.

When I sat down to read this book I was a little bit off kilter . I actually was reading them out of order so I was a little confused at the beginning , but by the 2nd chapter I had it all figured out . Wade and Iris are a great couple but Wade and Ravenna are a super hot couple . The story has intrigue , romance and lots of laughs and some tears will flow .   There are some twists and turns that will keep turning pages all night long . There is a few spots where it seemed to be a little slow and you kind of feel like you are getting a little bogged down . That didn't stop me from loving the story and the characters . This would be a great book to curl up with in front of a fire with a nice glass of wine . Add it to your fall reading list

HAPPY RELEASE WEEK

Happy Release week to one of my all time favourite authors . OF BLOOD AND MAGIC ( Cursed in blood series book 8 ) by Marianne Morea .

                            BOOK BLURB

Eric…stop. My blood could kill you.
Witch blood is a crap shoot for any vampire, Blair.
Please, I don’t want to risk it. I love you…

Eric Fraser is the stuff of gothic romances. From the battlefields of the first World War, to a chance encounter with walking death on a desolate stretch in Northern France, he’s Heathcliff of Wuthering Heights meets Bram Stoker’s Dracula. Gorgeous. Brooding. Sexy. And Undead. After a century of lonely waiting, he’s finally found a family and a place he calls home, but the fates aren’t done messing with him. Chance brings him the woman of his dreams. Beautiful. Sexy. Smart. And a Witch. The one supernatural being whose blood could deliver final death or enslave him. Is love worth the chance?

                           MY REVIEW
It is so great to go back to a series that you adore and find new characters mixed in with some old characters that you have loved since the begining . Eric Fraser well his is what you want in a man , and when Blair meets him she is instantly attracted to him . With his brooding good looks and his charm that can melt your heart . They are thrown together to fight a force and find themselves . Will their love be able to fight the curse of final death that she poccesses .

Ok I squealed when I found out that this book was coming out . There are some well loved characters that are back and then there are the main characters Eric and Blair . Eric is what i will say gothic dreams are made of . He is alluring , brooding and oh my goodness oh so sexy. He is also plagued by dreams that are driving him to figure out what is happening . He is one of the good guys . Trust me ladies you will love him .  Blair is well she is feisty and sassy , she is also a little scary with what she can do . She is a witch and something more hidden deep inside her . I like them as characters on their own but together they are great and oh so passionate . There are some great recurring characters that make an appearance . Carlos and Julian are back giving Eric a hard time . Sean and Natasha make an appearance and so does Remy and Dominic all make an appearance to help Eric and Blair out.

Ok I will admit i kind of fangirled when i heard this book was out . This is the first series that i fell in love with . This book is no exception I couldn't put this book down . The characters are well written and complex . I love how the author can slip characters from the other books in the series into the story line and it all fits perfectly . There are moments in this book that will make you laugh out loud . Some of the quips between Eric and Blair will make you snort . And the romance well ladies be prepared to fan yourselves and be careful you kindles might start to melt . There are some twists and turns that will keep you reading well into the night . If you want to read a good vampire story this is the book you should read .You can read it as a stand alone but I really suggest you read the whole series for some fun sexy times . Add this book to your fall reading list .

ITS MONDAY

Welcome to Monday everyone, hope you are well caffeinated and enjoying this August day . Today we have the 4th book in THE LOST CITY  series . BLAZE'S INFERNO  by D.L Colon .

                            BOOK BLURB

Rick Blaze thinks he’s the fire user, but all that is going to change. He can hear the calls, but doesn’t know where they are coming from or who it is calling him. As the call gets stronger each day that pass and he’s forced to leave his Guild behind and search for the owner of the mysterious voice that continuously calls him.
Kenna Flames, Goddess of Fire and owner of the Holy Flames, is forced to step out and defend the Temple of her ancestors as the Saviors are approaching. They want the Holy Flame. She is forced to use her powers to compel all the fire users to defend her, but she realizes too late that all fire users are heading her way for another reason entirely; the Holy Flames are calling them. What may be her last chance may also be her doom.
When Blaze arrives at the Temple he is met by a lot of fire users and they are trying to touch a blue flame. He also sees the most beautiful woman he has ever laid his eyes on.
As he looks upon the flame he hears a voice in his head saying; You have come, chosen one. Will you be strong enough to survive my touch or just absolve like all the ones before you?
Will Blaze know where the voices come from and will Kenna be able to protect her temple from the Saviors?
Will Rick help her or will he doom us all?

                            MY REVIEW
When Blaze hears a voice calling to him , he is forced to leave his Guild and look for the woman behind the voice . When he meets Kenna, the owner of Holy Flames , there are sparks and when he sees the blue flame the voice that has been calling to him has a question to ask him . Will Blaze and Kenna save the temple and stop the Saviors from coming . Or will Rick doom them all .

You will know most of the characters if you have read the other books . They have really become well written and each book they become more complex . The two main characters Blaze and Kenna are well written . Blaze is a little arrogant as he meets up with Kenna . You either want to slap him or hug him . There is a secret that he is carrying around with him that makes him relatable .  Kenna is tough as all get go , she is ready to defend what is hers .  She is a cool character you will like her. Noryad and Coral are back with their own set of problems and what they should do during battle,

I have been waiting for this book for a long time . When I finally got it I had to dive in right away . The author takes us on an adventure that had me turning pages . The characters are well written and you will like them . There are some twists and turns that will have you going what the heck . The only thing that I found with this book is the chapters are shorter and I am thinking that the author could of flushed it out just a little bit more . Over all I really enjoyed this book and I am so glad the author finished it .  So if you want a good book for this fall check out the series

WELCOME TO FRIDAY

Well must say its been a busy week and I am so very happy it is Friday . Today I have a sci fi book for you . PORTALS by Savannah Verte .

                            BOOK BLURB

The fate of the Aradian world depends on a single lesson.
Can they survive long enough to learn it?

A banishment portal meant for one becomes a catalyst to destiny for seven brothers who pass through. Their journey takes them between worlds, time, and back again, revealing truths they were never supposed to uncover: everything they’ve believed for a millennia is false, they are pawns on someone else’s game board, and, they are all expendable. Between the world they know, and the ones they don’t are more portals, each with truths waiting to be revealed.

Can they turn the tables, reclaim their lives, reunite with their mates, and end the game? Or, will their world be lost forever before they can return?

Truth takes time…theirs is running out.

                          MY REVIEW
First thing I am going to say that this is a long book , The fate of Aradian is in the hands of seven brothers that are banished through a portal . They are revealing truths as they travel between worlds and time . Can they figure out who's game board they are pawns on and will they ever get back to their mates or will their world be lost forever .

The characters in this book are well written and complex. As each brother figures out what is going on another brother is on the way to solve another problem . There is a mixture of mythology and lore in this story that will keep you liking the brothers . They are all strong alpha men and trust me you will love them and want to have them all to yourself .

The story is a fun read but be prepared to snuggle down and be in for a long haul . It is a long book but the story is rich and the characters are well written . You will love the different worlds that each brother goes through and you will want to help them solve the mystery of why the truths they thought they knew were false .  There are many twists and turns that will keep you turning the pages . I think the only draw back from me giving it 5 stars . Is the length I felt that it was just a tad too long and just a couple of areas kind of dragged a bit . Over all I really did enjoy this book and love reading other books from this author . So this book would be a great read for a long winters night .

HAPPY RELEASE DAY

Today we have another release day book . ANGEL ( a sacred oath series book one ) a reverse harem by HP Mallory

                              BOOK BLURB

“If the angel has no wings, there’s no amount of my shadow magic that could make them appear,” I say.
It takes the sprite a moment or two to understand what I’m getting at. Once he does, his eyes go wide and he begins shaking his head, holding up his hands in obvious supplication.
“Look, Shadow Prince, I dunno why yer magic ain’t workin’ but I’m tellin’ you what I saw. This angel got her wings,” the sprite says, but he appears nervous. “You’ll see. Besides, it ain’t like yer jist gonna leave her here, are ya?” He glances around and seems to become frightened by his surroundings.
The Shadow Realm is hardly safe, littered as it is by bloodthirsty creatures and the undead. Were I to leave the sprite and the girl here alone, they would undoubtedly be killed within a half hour, at most.
And even I’m not that horrible.

New York Times Bestselling Author, HP Mallory, brings you The Sacred Oath Series which will appeal to Reverse Harem, Why Choose readers

I don’t know who I am or where I came from.
The only thing I do know is that I’m running from something.
And there’s a voice inside my head that guides my every move…

When I’m taken prisoner to be thrust into a lifetime of prostitution, I learn I’m an angel. Yes, I bear the markings on my back: markings that reveal my wings have been removed. But when my only ally, a foul-mouthed sprite, insists my wings are intact, I realize the danger I’m facing.

I need protection. And that protection can only come from three magically powerful men who were destined to protect the balance between shadow and light:

Dragan, a gargoyle and the King of Shadow;
Cambion, an elf and the King of Nature;
and Baron, a vampire and the King of Death.

At one time there were four but Variant, the King of Light, grew greedy and usurped control for himself. He banished Cambion to the fae realm and Dragan to the shadow realm. And he murdered Baron.

And now Variant is after me.

                           MY REVIEW
Eilish doesn't know where she came from or even who she is . She is thrown into a life of prostitution , she learns that she is an Angel but  she has no wings . She needs protection and that comes from 3 very different magical men . Will they survive what is after Eilish

This author can write some very great characters and these characters are no exception . They are well written and complex.  Each of the male characters is different but yet deep down they are the same . Dragan is the Gargoyle and the king of shadow . He is dark and brooding and lets say that he is sexy as sin . There is something about him that will draw you in and make your heart beat a little faster . Cambion is and elf and the king of nature . There seems to be a lightness to him. I liked him  I just wanted to climb him like a spider monkey and then there is Baron a vampire and the king of death . He is well a vampire , all sexy and brooding but also a killer that you don't see coming .
Eilsh is timid but also in the same breath strong . She gets knocked down but keeps on going  . She could be one of my favourite new characters .

This story had me hooked from the second page. The characters are well written and i found I was caring for all of them at one point in the book . There are twists and turns through out the book that will keep you on the edge of your seat . This is my second reverse harem book and I must say that i liked it . There is a mystery and intrigue and your kindle will get warm with the romantice sexy scenes that go on. You should add this book to your fall reading challenge . You will not be disappointed .

HAPPY RELEASE DAY

Happy Release day to one of my favourite authors of dark twisted romance stories . BOUND  book 3 in the Tangled Web series by Aleatha Romig.

                             BOOK BLURB

From New York Times bestselling author Aleatha Romig comes a brand-new dark romance trilogy bringing us back to the same dangerous underworld as WEB OF SIN. You do not need to read the Web of Sin trilogy to get caught in this new and intriguing saga, Tangled Web.

With danger lurking around every corner and my life turned upside down, I struggle with who to believe and who to trust.

Can my heart convince my mind that what was bound long ago is where I’ll find love, safety, and security?

Or are the memories simply an illusion?

BOUND is book three, the final book of the TANGLED WEB trilogy that began with TWISTED and OBSESSED and is concluding with BOUND.

Have you been Aleatha’d?

                     MY REVIEW
Ok taking a deep breath here, book three starts right where book two left off . Kader/ Mason  and Laurel are still trying to find out who wants her dead and wants her info on her drug trials. With the revealation of who Kader is has Laurel spinning could it be the boy she loved so long ago be the man standing in front of her . The man that could kill her just as easily as loving her .  They are bound to be together and the love that they had will come back and keep them safe . Or will the people that wants her dead finally get their way .

This story has such great characters , they are well written and complex . Kader/ Mason is such a complicated man . He has been through so much and has so much taken from him . You want to hug him and hold him tight . You will either want to hug him or hit him upside the head with a frying pan. He will drive you crazy some times . But oh when he finally lets go and lets down his defenses he becomes more lovable . I loved it when he let down defenses and you get to see the reall man behind the tattoos and cold facade he has
Laurel well she is still a tough cookie that is an over thinker . She wants to go home but she wants to find more of Kader and help him . She is loyal to her family and her friends and is loyal to the man that holds her heart . She does really become stronger through out this book . She even fights for her life and the man who loves her .  They are good characters on their own but together they are dynamite waiting to ignite

I need to catch my breathe after finishing this story , I needed to decompress and come to a realization that its over . I didn't want this series to end . The characters are well written and complex and the twists and turns the author takes us on is an unbelievable rollercoaster ride of emotions . There were moments that i was on the edge of my seat biting my finger nails hoping every one will be ok .  There were other moments I was fanning myself and my kindle was on fire from the romance heating up the screen. The series is dark and the intrigue will have you thinking about who is after them .  There is also a great tie in to another series her Tangled web series that will have you going WTH  and it will have you cheering . I seriously read this book in an evening I just couldn't put it down . I got sucked in and was on the edge of my seat almost the whole time I was reading . This author can do dark and twisted right . So if you want a great series for your fall reading list check them out . You will love it . Come to the dark side where the men are hot and the women who love them are strong.

GOOD FRIDAY ALL

Made it to Friday , today we are going to review DEAD OF WINTER  Good Good dog by Kyle Stark

                            BOOK BLURB

In the pantheon of superheroes, none are more loveable and loyal than everyone's favorite good ol' dog, Sparky. Surviving in the wintery apocalypse of the undead, this former TV show stunt dog turned zombie killing machine just wants to make friends and be a good boy. As his fellow survivors scavenge for supplies in the frigid wasteland, will Sparky be able to protect his companions from threats both undead and otherwise? Collects issues #1-4 from the "Good Good Dog" storyline from DEAD OF WINTER!

                            MY REVIEW
Sparky a good ol dog , is surviving the winter apocoalypse  full of zombies . The TV show stunt dog has turned into a zombie killing machine and just wants to get hugs from the people he is protecting .  Will Sparky be able to keep his people safe .

The characters in the graphic novel are well written. Sparky is a cross between best friend and a zombie killing machine . All he wants is family and scratches . The story is good and you are taken on an adventure that will have you cheering . The illustrations are well drawn and I love the way the author took them . The dialogue is a bit cheesy at times but that's what makes it such a cute comic. Its a different take on the zombie apocalypse . This is a fun book that will have you reading all night long

What happens when he is older , who helps him get better at the racing and will his big dream go down . Will he perserve to become the fastest horse out there just like his dad .

You will fall in love with charlie and Misty and the rest of the people that want Charlie to be the best .

I sat down one night and started reading this book . I was looking for a story for my great niece . I really liked the way the author took us from Charlie being a foal up to his first big race . The moral of the story for me and i think for your children is that working hard and setting goals is a good thing . It also shows that if you peserve you will succeed . You young readers will love the story that Charlie tells us in his own words . I would get your kids to read it this summer .

ITS RELEASE WEEK

It is release week for one of my favourite and funny authors Robyn Peterman and her twelfth book in her HOT DAMNED series . A FSHIONABLE FIASCO .

                            BOOK BLURB

It’s not nice to mess with Mother Nature. Really, it’s not.

This is simply not my week. Finding out I can’t cook is appalling. My luncheon with the big-boned Immortal socialites went to Hell in a handbasket. I’ve been hoping to join the Fearsome Five and make it the Psycho Six. However, the chances of that happening now are looking slim. Of course, I could force my way in since I’m Mother freakin’ Nature, but I want to be accepted for being me and—because I’m fabulous.

It’s bad enough my two sons, God and Satan, are driving me to crazy town while my best friend, Mr. Rogers, is riding in the backseat having a breakdown. It’s definitely not a beautiful day in the neighborhood of Purgatory…

God has taken up softball and is impossible to get a hold of just when I need to chat with him about the impending end of the world.

And Satan. Satan has agreed to grocery shop with me so I don’t show up at his next poker game in Hell and pole dance. See I’m certain if I find the famous chef Betsy Cocker and learn to cook I can halt the end times. According to the Internet, she resides in aisle three.

What I really want is to be left alone with Bill—the love of my Immortal life. And for the world to not come to a cataclysmic and fiery end because that is unacceptable. God tells me the end times aren’t on his schedule, but the strange days afoot and the physical changes in Bill tell me otherwise.

And I would know. Normally, I create all the strange days.

There is no storm strong enough to defeat me. Ladies and gentlemen, I’m Mother Nature. I am the mother humpin’ storm.

And it’s not over until I say it’s over.
                          MY REVIEW
Never accept a dinner invitation from Mother Nature , the poor woman can't cook to save her life . Well until the day she has a tea party for some of hells socialites . She ends up saving the world from the antichrist .  The only way that she can save the world is learn how to cook and she wants to enlist Betsy Cocker  who resides in aisle three of the grocery store. When she is told to save the world, her and her band of co horts hatch a plan to save the world and save her love from the seven seals .  Will she survive and will the world survive Mother Nature .

I truly love the characters in this book and it was about time that Mother Nature and Bill got their own story . Mother Nature is a riot, she is always causing havoc where ever she goes . She has a hair trigger that will make things blow up with a flick of a finger . She really comes off as a dumb blonde even though she is a red head . There is more to her then a bad cook and fickle pole dancing woman . She is strong when she has to be and she loves with her whole heart and takes care of those who she loves . Just don't let her cook for you . God and Satan are back trying to help their mother out . We really get to see them as brothers in this book . They even have a smiting fight where things get a little scorched .  There are so many characters that are hilarious and so well written . You will love them all . I know I did .

Finally Mother Nature got her own book, which I was so excited to sit down and read . Even though it is the 12th book it stands up . The characters are well written and complex . You will love them . There are so many funny parts in this book that will have you laughing so hard tears will be running down your cheeks . There is also a few sad parts that will have you wanting to hug them . This is a fast fun read . The reason I took off a half a star is the ending . It was kind of anticlimatic . I was expecting a big food fight or something . It just seemed to end . I was kind of let down with the ending . Over all i loved this book and would recommend it to you to add to your summer reading list

A stocky shadow separated itself from the shadowy overhang of a garage. “Well, look who’s here, back from working in the big city.” Compact and solid, with a wrestler’s build, the nemesis of the neighborhood, Jorge Gonzales moved out into the street.
Carmine froze, hand still in her purse. “Hello, Jorge.” She eased it out, leaving her phone in her bag. If Jorge saw it, he’d likely try to take it from her, and she hadn’t bought the insurance.
“Hello yourself, Carmine.” The way he rolled her name off his tongue made her back go rigid.
Tightening up her grip on her purse straps, she sped up, boot-heels clicking loudly into the empty street.
“Where you going, chica? Too busy to talk to me?”
She moved fast, but despite his shorter legs, he moved faster, blocking her way, forcing her away from the houses and into the middle of the street. She went to veer around him, aiming for the safety of the houses and light, and away from the dark line of trees, but he stayed right with her, herding her even farther into the dark.
“Think you’re so special, don’t you, Carmine, with your big degree and your big job.”
She was too close to the forest, too close to Jorge. Her heartbeat picked up, pulsing loudly in her ears. Danger. Danger. Danger.
They were just trees, they couldn’t hurt her, couldn’t move. Couldn’t open up and swallow children and cats as if they’d never been there. She had to remember—the real danger was walking beside her, almost in front of her, his eyes bright with malice.

                    MY REVIEW

When Carmine is left on a doorstep as an infant , she grows up amongst people who love her . When she is five she is transported to Underhill one day . She is saved by a wolf and taken back to the portal .  Time passes and she grows up and while being chased by town gang . She is transported back to Underhill where she is once again saved by the wolf that saved her some time ago. Culann the wolf shifter and the man that can save her and himself in the process .

I truly love the characters in this series . Carmine and Culann are no exception . Carmine well she is like all the women of Underhill . She is sweet and innocent but there is an underlying strength that she has that keeps her fighting for those who she loves . She becomes the heroine that helps save Culann.

Culann is well he is complicated sort of man . He has been through so much , from being exiled from his pack for something he didn't do . He has been through so much and you just want to hug him . He is a sweet guy that you will want to bring home to mom but he is also so very flawed . You will love him and cheer for him and Carmine . There are some recurring characters back in this book also . Finn and Ella help Carmine and Culanne out . Ronatta is back raising havoc and wanting Carmine for herself so she can do a spell . Ronatta is so evil in this book she really can bring on the havoc when she wants to .

I was so excited when I found out that there was going to be another book . I love this series so much . The author takes us on an adventure that shows us that a woman can be the hero of her own story .  There are twists and turns that will keep you reading and loving every moment of it . There are some steamy scenes that will have you blushing and giggling . I love how the author takes a fairy tale and twists it into a story that is up to date and shows that a damsel doesn't have to be in distress .  This can be read as a stand alone but if you want to get the full feel of UNDERHILL and all its residents read the whole series . This will be a great series to add to your summer and fall reading challenge .

GOOD THURSDAY ALL

Well I made it through day one of the heat wave , lets get it done on day two . Today we are going to be hitting over a hundred great day to stay in and read . I have the book for you THE NIGHT STALKER  by Robert Bryndza

                           BOOK BLURB

The #1 Wall Street Journal bestselling breakout detective Erika Foster series--with over two million copies sold--is back again to find a serial killer with a motive shrouded in secrecy.

If the Night Stalker is watching, you're already dead...
In the dead of a swelteringly hot summer's night, Detective Erika Foster is called to a murder scene. The victim, a doctor, is found suffocated in bed. His wrists are bound and his eyes bulging through a clear plastic bag tied tight over his head.

A few days later, another victim is found dead, in exactly the same circumstances. As Erika and her team start digging deeper, they discover a calculated serial killer - stalking their victims before choosing the right moment to strike.

The victims are all single men, with very private lives. Why are their pasts shrouded in secrecy? And what links them to the killer?

As a heat wave descends upon London, Erika will do everything to stop the Night Stalker before the body count rises, even if it means risking her job. But the victims might not be the only ones being watched... Erika's own life could be on the line.

The global bestselling author of The Girl in the Ice is back with a heart-racing, electrifying thriller. If you love Angela Marsons, Rachel Abbott and Peter James, you'll be hooked on Robert Bryndza.

                           MY REVIEW
When Detective Erika Foster is called to a murder scene.she finds a man with a plastic bag over his head and his wrists were bound . Then a few days later there is another  as they start to investigate they find a pattern and a calculated serial killer stalking men .  With a heat wave threatening London Detective Foster is trying to find the killer before the body count rises  Will they be able to find the killer before he strikes again

I must say the author has poured everything he has into these characters . They are well written and complex . The main character Erika is well she is flawed and scared  but she is also a very strong willed woman who will do what it takes to get the job done .  I truly liked her and her team of detectives . They work well together even when up against the clock and each other

I love a good thriller book with a serial killer aspect . The twists and turns the author takes us on will have us on the edge of our seats most of the time . I love how the author lets us in on each of the characters inner most fears and their weakness . It makes the characters more believable and you start to cheer for them . You really have each character as a suspect or are they really the suspect . There are a few red herrings in the book that will have you going what I seriously thought that this person was the killer . The author will take you into the the darkest parts of a persons heart and what they are ultimately hiding there . The story is good and the characters are well written , I was turning pages well into the night . The only thing that didn't give this book a 5 star rating was it seemed to be dragging in just a few places . It didn't hurt the story any but I just felt it could of sped up a bit . Over all i really enjoyed this book and I am going to look into more of the series . So if you are a person who likes thrillers and wants a good summer read for your summer book challenge check this book out .

Mel is the next target, but Nate's determination to protect her is almost as strong as his desire for her.

                            MY REVIEW
When Melanie finds her best friend and roommate dead at the bottom of the stairs . She isn't ready for what is going to happen . Melanie is the human vessel for the muse of Tragic Poetry and one of the nine daughters of Zeus . When Nate Malone is assigned to the case , He thinks its an accident , then the visions start about a killer in a Kronos mask . Nate is determined to keep her safe as his desires for her grow. They will both survive and will they be able to love each other .

The characters are so well written in this book . The author takes Greek mythology and gives them a modern twist . Mel is the embodyment of the muse of Tragic Poetry . She is a strong woman who will do what it takes to survive . She is sweet also and loves her friends . I truly liked her feistiness and her sass . Nate well he is just sexy dipped in chocolate that you just want to lick up . He is also a damaged guy that is hiding some things that happened to him . He is no nonsense and will do anything to keep the people he cares about safe . On their own they are great characters and together they are explosive and oh so hot .

I read this book in an evening . I totally fell for this new series, I love Greek mythology and the greek gods . There are twists and turns that will keep you on the edge of your seat and the sexy times will have you fanning yourself . The author puts her characters through the wringer before letting them actually fall in love . The mystery will pull you in and the romance will keep you turning pages . You can easily get done this book in an afternoon . This is a binge worthy series for your summer reading challenge . Check i out . You will love them all

                          MY REVIEW
There are few that join the Adventurers guild , they usually die young . In one of the last cities left standing after they fell to monsters . There are two best friends who have high hopes for the future . Zed Kagari wants to joing the ranks fo the Mages Guild . His best friend Brock Dunderfel wants to joing the ranks of the merchant guild . As their dreams are starting to come true there worl is shifted , they find that they are apart of the Adventurers guild . The guild is led by Alabasel Frond and they are the last line of defense against the Dangers . Will they come out and survive the dangers and prove that they have what it takes to keep Freestone safe .

The characters in this story are well written and each character has his own complexicity to them . Zed is an half elf that wants to belong and do good for his city . He is your typical kid that wants to help out . When push comes to shove he is there for his friends .  He just wants to be part of the mages guild . He didn't really want to be a healer in the Adventurers guild .  Brock is a sweet guy who just wants to be a merchant in the merchant guild like his parents . But like Zed he is thrust into something that he doesn't want to really know about .  Along with their new friends they met in the guild Jett and Liza . They become a strong team that can do almost anything  .

This story is a great read for those of us that love a good adventure . Yes before you start saying but its a children's book . That doesn't really matter the author will take you on an adventure with a group of friends that are doing the best to survive .  There is a great mixture of suspense and humor that is through out this book.  I gave this book to a friends daughter and she couldn't put it down. There are moments in the book where you just want to wrap everyone up in blankets and hold them close and say everything is going to be ok .  This is a great start to a great new series . If you have a tween that is bored , get them this book . They will be lost in an adventure of a life time . Great summer read for those who want a good adventure
