Good morning all today we are interviewing Scott Carruba the author of DANCE OF THE BUTTERFLY and SWORD OF THE BUTTERFLY, also part of the anthology MAXIMUS SHOCK .

Welcome Scott thanks for taking part today
You are so welcome thanks for having me .

 TELL US A LITTLE ABOUT YOURSELF 
I am fascinated by arts, creativity and human behavior. I strive to further experience it via my own endeavors, particularly my writing. 

 Tell us a little about your books 
They are dark urban fantasy set in Central Europe, dealing with a 'hidden' threat to humanity's very existence.

 If you didn't write what would you be doing for a living 
I don't write for a living. Maybe someday.

 Does your family support your writing 
Yes.

What is your writing style like 
I tend to be verbose, descriptive, detailed. Some might say I sometimes dabble in purple prose. I also don't much believe in dumbing down or spoon feeding.

What aspect of the writing/ publishing do you like and what aspect do you dislike 
I dislike that there is so much chaff out there. I like pretty much everything else.

do you hide secrets in your books that those you know you can figure out . 
I sure do. Some of them, you don't even have to know me to figure out.

 If you had to do something different as a teenager to make you a better writer what would that one thing be 
Network and stay in writing groups. Take more creative writing courses.

 Do you believe in writers block 
Yes, but I also believe it can be overcome. Water erodes mountains.

 On average how long does it take for you to write a book 
About a year
