                    MY REVIEW 

 Naya was attacked by someone who thought she could trust and turned into a wolf. When Niall a wolf shifter and a mob boss who has plans to head to the past and take what is his and destroy a pack . Bain is an Irish Wolf King who is caught in a fate that has him mating with a renegade wolf to save his pack and to save his life . When he sees Naya his wolf knows that she is his and he will do anything to keep her safe and his pack safe even dying. But he has to first steal her away and make her realize that they are fated oh and kill the mob boss from the future who wants nothing but hurt and death to the pack. Sure easy but finding love with the little renegade wolf could mean his certain death . 

  Naya and Bain well here are two wolves that well are both fighters . Naya is fighting for her life. She thinks she has all this wolf stuff all figured out but ummm she really doesn't have a sniff sometimes . She is a force of nature and so strong willed and will do anything to keep her family safe . Even play with the devil incarnate.  Bain is a Irish Viking and loves to fight . He is tall and sexy and is fiercely protective of those he cares about . Bain has been fighting his draw to Naya since they were young. Niall well he is oh so evil, he maybe suave and debonair but he has such an evil streak. He wants to have it all and that includes Naya. You really want to well slap him around a bit. These are the type of characters that had me reading late into the night . They are complex and very well written. 

  This books starts basically where book one ends . I like that the author took it to a new level and had the mob mentioned and used through out the book. It made the characters a lot darker and gave it an edge . That kept me turning pages well into the night . This series would be a great series to read while you are on holiday if you want more than a beach read . These books will pull you in and keep you reading well into the evening .  Check it out

                        MY REVIEW

   Ariel is not wanting to get married to Charming, she know he doesn't love her and it is just all for show. So the day of her wedding she bolts and stumbles upon a tree that leads her what she has wanted her whole life. Adventure and someone who will love her unconditionally for always. She meets her fated mates Caspian , the tentacle king and  Levarrat a god who is just adrift in the universe , waiting for the time when his mates will come and they can be together. Thus igniting the magic within them and travels that will bring them joy of a lifetime . 

  Ariel is a plus size princess who just doesn't feel loved in the world she is in. She is sweet but also so insecure because she doesn't like her size and has been bugged about it since she was a child. She really shines when she is with Caspian and Levarrat. They treat her like the princess she is and they don't care about her weight. They love her as she is . She really blossoms and when she finds out she is a shifter is so much fun. Caspian is the ruler of the South Seas and he is strong and sexy and he does have his faults and does have to do a lot of groveling. Levarrat is well he is a God but he is a sweet guy who will be there for both of them. He does like to joke around and put both Caspian and Ariel in their place. He he is dark and sexy and will do just about anything to keep his mates safe and happy.  They are such set of characters. Each of them the same but oh so different and they compliment each other and are complex. 

  This is a fun sexy retelling of the Little Mermaid. I love how the author made Ariel plus size and not comfortable in her skin. Like most of us are in real life and Caspian may be sexy but he has faults that we love to see in a hero and Levarrat brings in the laughter and a sense of whimsy . The author really did some great twists and turns through out the book . This is a mmf book that has a lot of smexy times and some fun and romantic time and the ending is hilarious with babies and family. This is a fun read that will have you up late into the night and great for a beach read.

                         MY REVIEW

 When Athena makes it out to Winter harbor Maine, she knows there are secrets and discoveries to be found though out the cabin. She wants to figure out what is hidden in the rental . What she finds is a new path to a place where her life is in the hands of a ruthless Viking warrior. Tyr a dragon and a Viking warrior has been fighting for so long that is the only thing he knows how to do. Until the day he realizes that his sword and shield have been transported thousand of years into the future to a woman he feels he knows and has a desire to protect her. Thrust together they are set on an adventure that could get them both killed . Will they survive to realize that they are meant to be together. 

  Book two is Athena's and Tyrs book and man it is full of fighting and flirting . Athena is a no nonsense scientist who wants to save the world. She is sassy and a fighter and will protect those she loves with her whole heart. Tyr is a warrior through and through fiercely protective and loyal to those he cares for. When they come together there are sparks lots of sparks . We also got to see  Ase , Keira and Ulrik back fighting with them and for them. These are characters that you can really care for even though they are dragons and Valkyries and always fighting. 

  This is book 2 in the series and starts right after book 1 ends . The author is really good at combining Viking lore with modern times. There is a great mix of hot and steamy times and then times of fighting and protecting. This is a book that should be read after you read book one so you don't get confused. I truly enjoyed this author's writing style and I am going to check out her other series . So if you want a steamy dragon book check it out this series will have you up all night reading.

                       MY REVIEW

 After her parents death and her sisters go missing . Cora Winterhouse is alone even after being rescued from an Evil Vampire queen who used her . She end up in Max Sterling's care after he saved her from the queen. He is a light alien and is so attracted to Cora but she she sees nothing but a playboy actor who keeps parading woman after woman in front of her. She is trying to find her sisters and figure out what happened but she is blocked and can't get past the fact that he is just being a jerk. When tragedy hits the light aliens . Cora and Max drop her quest to help out the wolve and other light aliens . With their quests taking them in other directions and and them uncovering more truths will it bring them closer together or drive them apart. 

   This is Cora and Max's story . Cora is a sweet kitchen witch with a heart of gold . All she wants to do is find her sisters and pray Max would notice her. At the start of the book she is a little naive and very untrusting in some things. Max is a light alien and he has the good looks and charisma that makes him a good movie star. He is tall dark and oh so sexy and he can be broody as well. All he wants is to get Cora to notice him for more than the playboy he is . They are both really insecure when it comes to being with each other . It is endearing to read  and watch them fall for each other. We also get characters from the other books in the series . I truly love these characters and when reading you do get to be apart of them

  This is the fourth book in the series and you kind of have to read the other books to know what is going on.  The author can really put her characters through so much and still have a smile on their faces . The characters are well written and complex . You will love them and you will cheer for them through out .  This is one of my favourite authors and I love her style of writing . It is a great story with twists and turns that will have you reading all night . So if you like witches, vampires and wolves and light aliens that are like incubus check out this series .

 Belle is a non traditional princess who just isn't into all the princess stuff . She is an avid reader and a dreamer. When she follows a cat to a tree that transports her to an alternate land . Where she meets the Beast who is a shifter king who is trying to figure how to have his two mates in his life when the prophecy says that he can only one. When he finds Belle he knows she is his mate but he also knows there is someone else out there for him and Belle.  Scar is a rugged biker who wants more than the rough and tumble life style in his lifestyle . When he meets the Beast he is transported with Belle to the land of the Beast. Will they be able to figure everything out and find the love that all three of them want and need . 

   This is a mmf story that has three very hot characters . Beast is a shifter king an he has the weight of a prophecy on his shoulders . He doesn't just want one mate he wants both of them. He is a sexy and oh so broody but when it comes to his mates he is all dominate and taking a no holds barred approach to things . Scar is well he is also a sexy biker, who is looking for the one person that he can be with that will be good for him and is a big bear that likes to cuddle afterwards. He is gruff and speaks his mind and doesn't hold back. Belle is one of the princess's that really doesn't care about all the princess stuff that the rest of them do. She is a rebel , sassy and sweet but part of her is a little bit naive when it comes to the men in her life. I truly like the characters and the way the author has written them They are complex and well written. 

   This is one of those books that has three character points of view. and sucks you in from the very beginning .  Each character has their own self doubts they have to work through. This is a twisted retelling  that is a little sweet and a whole lot of sexy .  So if you want a twisted fairy tale that has you hooked from the start and you love shifters . This would be a book for you .

 Well peeps it is Monday and we are on the last week of reader round up. Today is book eleven and the second book in the Adventures of Shirley Holmes and Janie Watson series . CASE OF THE MISSING AUTHOR by K.R Hall

                      MY REVIEW 

 Shirley and Janie are back on their next case. When Camille Dekker gets eerie messages form a man who says he is her long lost son. She and her son head to Vienna Virginia to hide from him. She contacts Shirley and Janie to find out who this man is and stop him . But when Camille goes missing it is going to take all of their detective skills to figure out where she is and get her back to her son before it is too late. 

   Shirley and Janie are back and working harder than ever. Shirley is one busy girl she is trying to get a wedding planned and trying to solve the abduction case . Both girls are sweet but also ready to kick some butt when they have to. They balance work and home life quite well and they really like to be around each other and helping each other out. We also get to see Janie find love and starting a relationship with the very cute chief of Police. Each character is well written and they all fit together. 

  This was one of those books that you can read in an evening . The characters are well written and I really like them . The author expanded the book abit more adding more of their home life . I wished that author added more of them working on the case , a bit less of the wedding prep. I feel like it kind of fell flat in that area. Over all I did enjoy the book and will read more from this author. So if you want a fun read check it out. It is a good rainy day read.

                          MY REVIEW 

 What happens when the son of Medieval Irish Viking and a woman from the 21st century have in common. Besides being fated mates. Trean and Kaia have a lot to work through. Trean is under a curst that would keep him safe but has him fighting battle after battle. So what is one more curse that takes him and his pack to protect and raising a Viking dragon. What can co wrong , I mean the dragons are enemies of the wolves . What else could go wrong oh yeah just home from a battle and well now we have a mutiny going on within the pack. Kia is well she could be a distraction that he can't have . Even if he is about to take her hostage and use her as a bargaining chip. But will he let her go. 

   Kaia and Trean are the main characters of this story. Kaia is a modern woman who was just bitten by a wolf and she is now a new werewolf. She really doesn't know what is happening for a bit . She is strong and sassy with a protective streak a mile wide . Trean is well he is a Viking with a protective strike for Kaia and his pack. He is also torn between his fated mate and his duty to his pack . The characters are very well written and complex . You will like Trean and Kaia together. They fight like cats and dogs but when they come together the sparks fly. They are truly meant to be. We also get meet other members of his clan that will fight with him. 

  This is one of those books that will take you a bit of time to get into this book but once you do there is no going back. The author takes us on an epic adventure where you get wolves, dragons and fated mates .  I am really starting to like the author's way of writing and the development of her characters . Which are complex in their own right but when they get together the explode . A great summer read for those long summer days by the pool .

                       MY REVIEW 

 Keira has been haunted of dreams of fire and a mysterious chalet that hopefully will bring answers to why she is feeling the way she is. When she finds out what is going on with her and why she is being taken away. to a time in the past where paths have crossed Ulrik is going to take Keira to help heal the wounds of another clan king. It got harder for him when they are connected by an ancient tree which is making Ulrik's job even harder. Once she meet Ulrik and her heart starts to fall for him and when they realize that they are fighting a sinful attraction that could ultimately bring them down . Will they be able to figure out their feelings before fate steps in and destroy everything in its path.

  Keira is a modern woman, a fire fighter who has all the men falling all over themselves to impress her. But she has an ache inside her that she is trying to figure out and a lot of things to come to grips with as she realizes that she is the prophecy. She is a strong woman who can hold her own against almost anyone that she comes up against . Ulrik is a strong Viking and a dragon shifter who has to come through time to help save his clans from war. For being a Viking he is actually well behaved and quite articulate when he meets Keira. They are both strong willed people who are fated mates and when it comes down to it they will do anything to protect each other. These are very well written and complex and you will like them. 

   This is one of those books that takes a little bit to get into but when you do  you will not put it down. This is a new author to me so it took a bit to figure out her writing style but once i did I fell in love with this book. The characters jumped off the pages and you really start to like both of them and the lore the author uses is great . We have Loki and Valkyrie and the dragon legend through out this story . There is also romance and fated mates that are woven into the story. This would be a good book for those that love dragon shifters and Norse mythology

   Good morning peeps and HAPPY FIRST DAY OF SUMMER. Today we have book 8 in the reader round up and it is a novella in the Rock and Romance series. YOU FELL FIRST  by R.L Merrill.

  Things get dirty when a deputy saves a tree trimmer and sweet when she turns out to be exactly what he needs. 

   A deputy sheriff and a tree trimmer meet during a storm cleanup on a treacherous road and literally fall for each other in the line of duty. Calvin want to explore their connection and Flor is game. Then things get sticky when his hard earned sobriety is threatened and her pride is bruised. Their chemistry can't be ignored but can they get past their personal obstacles? It'll take some getting dirty to get to the sweet in this story of broken hearts and fresh starts. 

                      MY REVIEW 

 What do you get when you meet a sheriff's deputy and a tree trimmer after a storm hits . You get Calvin and Flor.  Flor is a tree trimmer who is working on trimming the trees after a horrible storm when a car hits a tree that she is working on. Calvin is the sheriff's deputy called to the scene and does more than save the kids in the back seat as the tree starts to fall on the car. He jumps to the rescue for Flor who is hanging by a rope at the top of the tree. Before he knows it he is on his butt cutting the line so the other guy can grab her . In the process getting injured. So not going to tell you what he injured but it is pretty funny. She stays with him to help him out and sparks fly. But there are secrets that both of them are hiding and misunderstandings that occur. Will they be able to figure it out before they loose each other. 

    Ok now novella is such a fun read . Calvin and Flor are such an interesting couple. Calvin has been through a lot before he ended up a deputy working with his cousin Kelly Graham. He has been through so much and is still battling his addictions which makes him a little more sensitive to things. He is a sweet guy who wants to be in love .Flor is a good woman who is trying to make it in a world where it is usually men doing it. She doesn't think that she could be loved because of her height and the job she does. Also her home life isn't the best her father has issues that he is working through and is taking his frustrations out on her and her mother. We also get to see Abra and Kelly in this story and well Abra is well Abra and Kelly is still on the force and not so much of a stick in the mud. I must admit that Calvin and Flor are so interesting , they are flawed but also great for each other because of those flaws. There are misunderstandings between them but they do fix them finally , before you want to slap them upside the head a few times . 

   This is one of those books that you can read in a couple of hours . This novella is packed with so much that you will captivated from the first page. The author paints a picture of redemption and finding the love that you deserve. This is a perfect fit in the series . It is short and to the point of what is going on. Another great beach read for this summer .

   Good afternoon my peeps , just listening to the rain coming down which is a blessing on the farm right now. Today we are diving back into the Rock n Romance series by R.L Merrill. We are going on a ROAD TRIP.

                         MY REVIEW 

  Abra Mora is a high school counselor and a major heavy metal fan, she is on her way to the first festival of the summer. When she comes upon a scene at the rest stop. She comes to the rescue of an off duty police officer being beaten and almost set on fire by two gang bangers. After saving the straight laced and is oh so handsome.  Together they run away from the baggage that is haunting them They are having fun but when they come back to the real world will they be able to handle the baggage or are they in for a collision that will end it all.

 Abra and Kelly the metal head and well the farm boy. Abra is 5 ft 3 and loves heavy metal music and has the style of a 50's pin up girl. She loves her job but she also hides from everyone with all that is going in her family. She loves to have fun but she is also scared that people are going to run when they get to know her and what is going on in her life. Kelly is as straight as an arrow cop who is by the book and honestly he is kind of wound tight. He is also hiding his own demons in his family. They are total opposites but somehow they really work together and are really cute as a couple. I love how Kelly calms Abra and Abra brings Kelly out of his shell . Together they are the sweetest couple . We also get to see Stevie and Aaron again through out this book and man they are really cute together also. They are all such good characters . 

    I read this book in an evening , you could read it as a stand alone but then you won't really know about Stevie and Aaron . I really like this series the author has them not lovey dovey all the time she actually brings in conflict that they have to work through to make it back to each other . Each character is also very complex and has a lot going on in his or hers life. If you want a good summer rock n roll check out this series .

                        MY REVIEW

  Welcome back to the fight and Newt's and Jacob's stories . Newt has always been on the wrong side of things being born to a Roma Gypsy clan he has always seen the dark side of things . He is torn between being being a seer and and protector he has done some dark and tainted things in his past but he wants to be a better person and with the help of Feather he just might have a chance. Jacob has know love of two parents and he can not wait till he can become a warrior just like his father was. Will the love of Feather help the guys out and will Newt be the man that she wants him to be. 

   Newt is a cat shifter who has been alone for so long pining for a witch with Emerald eyes and red hair . He is a loner who is a dominant and kind of a deep thinker and a protector of everyone around him that he cares about. He wants the kind of love that all those around him does . Jacob is like a ray of sunshine sometimes there is something that could become dark but he just wants to become a warrior. Feather is one powerful witch and has a great connection with Newt , she is a natural submissive who is in love with Newt and has been for awhile . She wields a lot of power and is sad because she just wants her love . Ryan and Zoey are back along with the rest of the pack. Sexier and butt kicking everyone that gets in their way. 

  This book has multiple points of view through out it. I did get a bit confused at the beginning but it became clear to me after about 4 chapters in that I will be reading multiple povs. This book is a little bit more in depth than the other books and we get a lot more of their back story which is amazing cause I am a sucker for a good back story. This is a book that you really have to read the other books in the series so you know who everyone is . A good read for your summer reading list .

 Good morning peeps, well today we are back to the dystopian world of Matthew S Cox and the final book in the Faded Skies series . Lets dive into ASCENDANT REVOLUTION.

                        MY REVIEW 

 Maya and the gang are back and trying to figure out what to do about Maya's ex mother Vanessa and what her plans are. After a random attack on one of her friends sister. Maya finds out some info that will let the Brigade finally end Ascendant for good . With her small size and her big brain she accepts the mission and maybe finally get the target off her back for good. Everyone assures her that it is safe . But like with everything commando raids are on her bucket list and when real bullets she doesn't think that she will survive to have that free life she is so looking for. 

   Maya is really becoming a little vigilante when taking on the powers that be. She is still sweet and just wants to live a normal life with her family and friends She has done so much with the Brigade and is getting really good at getting kidnapped. She wants revenge on Vanessa the woman who well tried to be her mother but all she did was use Maya. Sarah is still the little bodyguard for Maya even though Maya has taught her more about what it is like to be a family and asking for help. Sarah is one brave little lady but we do get to see her become more like a kid and letting her guard down a bit. Genna and Pope are back making the little family complete. They truly care for and love Maya and Sarah and they also want to take out Ascendant and stop the world from getting Fade. They are all so well written and you will really care for them they all have grown and become more and more complex with each book. I truly cared for Maya and the gang.

   This is a bittersweet book for me, I kind of didn't want it to end. I truly enjoyed reading this series . The characters were so interesting and well written. Each one of them were complex and you truly going to love them. The author creates such a complex universe in his books and you will get sucked in. You have to read the books in order so you can see and feel how the characters grow through out . If you like dystopian books this is the series for you .

                     MY REVIEW 

 Stevie is a Rock loving woman who is right now bringing a new life into the world and is estranged from her baby daddy. After being kicked out of their apartment and moving in with her best friend and her two children. Stevie and Maryland head to a concert and Stevie has a chance encounter with well the man of her dreams . After he catches her when she stumbles . Aaron a sweet guy who left a good paying job to start his dream of owning his own music store and helping his family out.  He can't shake the goddess he met while working security for a venue. Hoping that he will find her again. They find each other and hopefully that they can survive what is going on in their lives when a loss breaks her heart and family pressure pulls at Aaron. Will they be able to handle all the pressures that are building up or will they fall apart .

  Ok not only are these two characters interesting they have really interesting names . Stevie Nann Wilson, just think about that one . Aaron Ali Salaam McShane, you have to read the book to find out that backstory. Stevie is a sweet woman she teaches high school and loves music . She is also kind of a loner and has one really good friend. There is a sadness around her and her worst fear is being left. With everything that she has gone through she still has a light in her that shines brightly and attracts people to her. You will love her and cheer for her through out the book . With Aaron we get a fun loving guy who left a great paying job to follow his dream. He is tall and sexy and fun loving but there is also a lot weighing him down as in helping his family, while his dad battles cancer. Keeping his twin brothers out of trouble and trying to find the woman that will be his other half. He is a bighearted guy who doesn't mind doing what needs to be done to help out family . They seem like they are made for each other and they do have some bumps in the road but they do figure it out (hopefully) Stevie's best friend Maryland is a no holds barred shoot from the hip kind of woman. She will pick you up and give a dressing down at the same time. She wants nothing but good things for Stevie and will be her cheerleader always. Schroeder is the same for Aaron , he maybe the quiet one but when push comes to shove he will put Aaron in his place and make him think of what is going on . I actually love these characters, and they are so well written. 

  This is a book that you will get sucked into. The author takes us on a romance that isn't all wine and roses . The author shows us the good and the ugly side of falling in love . The happiness and the insecurities that come out when you do find the right person. There is a lot that goes on in the book including loosing a child, bullying and violence. The author handles it well and does write with feeling of sadness but a triumph of healing through out. There are parts of the story that will bring tears to your eyes and then parts that you want to slap both the main characters up side the head to knock some sense into them and then you will sigh and smile when it finally and hopefully works itself out . This would be a fun book to read at the pool or the lake so check it out
