Good Wednesday

  Good Wednesday everyone . I just finished a book that well lets just say traumatized me. Mike Evans has a way of doing that to me and with his new book THE UNLEASHING (the 4th book in The Uninvited series )

   In what is set to be the final gruesome book in The Uninvited Series, it goes without saying that it very well might be the bloodiest. The Stranger had thought he was the last in his bloodline who carried the will to kill without prejudice, until now!                       MY REVIEW 

  Ok this is a great ending to the series ,the author really ramped up the creep factor in this book . We get to follow  the stranger as he heads home to see his children after about a decade . He thought he was the last of the line that had the will to just kill and enjoy it . But as he finds out one of his children has the want and desire to kill . Come along for the ride of a lifetime as the Stranger finally answers the questions that were left in book three. 
   Omg the characters in this book just keep getting better and better . The Stranger has taken it up a notch in his killing sprees and the way he kills his victims . He is just evil and really you just want to stab him over and over . But he is also a father that wants to keep his protégé safe and help them get the desire to kill .  There are so many characters that get killed in this book . can't name them all but they die in such gruesome and bloody ways .   The kids are totally opposites of each other. one sweet and the other more like dad then anyone knows .
   This book had me setting it down a few times , oh the bathroom scene . yeah you will put it down after that one .  I was traumatized over and over, The author ramped up the gore and the creepiness in this one .  Don't eat while you are reading this one and also don't read before bed . Or before you have a dentist appointment. You will understand when you read the book. You will have some not so good dreams.  The question you come away with at the end of the book is . Is this the end or will  the Stranger and his protégé be back . I am kind of hoping that there is an spin off with the protégé . That would be a great read . So trying not to give you the name of the protégé because I really want you to read the books  So if you love extreme horror please check out THE UNINVITED SERIES trust me you will not be disappointed but when you read be prepared to be traumatized and sleep with the lights on for about a week . MAY YOU ALL SURVIVE THE STRANGER

                          MY REVIEW 

  OMG  is the words to describe this installment of the Deliver series . Tate has his own story and this is it . What would you do for love , would you hunt down and find the long lost sister of the woman that you have loved and lost .  Tate has been though hell and back  and now he is on the trail of finding the long lost sister of his best friend . Which sends him , Van and Cole to kidnap alley in the middle of Venezuela . To find the heartbreak and the love of his life . But will they survive to realize that they are bound to be together . 

     Tate and Lucia are such great characters. They are strong and even stronger when they are together.  Tate has been through hell and back and has become a really strong man who will have to be stronger when he realizes that Lucia is the one for him . He would go through hell all over again to make sure she is safe . Lucia is just as strong but in a different way . She has to fight and fight some more to even keep her head above water and one step ahead of the evil that is surrounding her every day . She has to do some really nasty evil stuff and she is repulsed by it every day . These two are some tough characters and you will love them and hate them at the same . Van and Liv are back , Van is redeeming himself in this book even more . He does the most valiant thing I have read . Not going to tell you what it is but it will break your heart into a million pieces .  There is a new character Cole who was in another series but makes an appearance here . He helps Tate and Van find Lucia and teach them how to survive the hell . 

    I couldn't but this book down I got sucked into the story from the first page . This author is a must read for me. She really knows how to take you on a journey that will rip out your heart and stomp on it but she will also repair the pieces of your heart . Her characters are strong and weak at the same time . The story has so many twists and turns that will keep you turning pages well into the night. I had a book hangover after reading this book . So if you want a book full of twists and turns and full of angst . Check out DEVESTATE  I will say you should read the other books to really understand what is going on in this book . If you like dark twisted and oh so good books you will love this book .

                       MY REVIEW 

    This was one of the first books I have read by this author . I was sucked in fast . I mean it has witched and werewolves oh and don't forget the immortals and vampires . After thousands of years the a truce bring the paranormal world back to the brink of war . Will the love of an immortal and a vampire bring them back to war or heal them. 

    This is a gripping book that will keep you reading. The characters are very well written and complex . The main characters William ( the immortal ) Lena (the witch)  Torak (the vampire ) Sam (a young immortal ) and Kayla (a vampire) .  They are all complex and each of them and their story line is so easy to follow , the good versus the dark  is the battle here . You will fall in love with these characters trust me . 

   This book is a great read and you will read it in an evening . You will get sucked in and love the characters and the story is easy to follow. There is no complicated plots that you need to keep track of .  There is just one thing that had me not giving it a five star rating is that it just needed to be cleaned up in the editing a bit . I really enjoyed this book and will recommend it to anyone who loves paranormal characters and a great story line .

                    MY REVIEW 

   This series had me hooked from the first page and in this one I was totally lost in it from page one . I feel that this book is a little darker then the first two .  What would you do if everything and everyone you loved was stripped away from you in one devastating act of evil . You would either die or fight . Well that is what Ilanna of house hawk does . But will she survive the guild and the evil that is coming. Will she survive or be taken down by the ones that she thought were her friends . 

    The author put a lot of work into developing his characters and they have grown more developed and complex with each book. In this book he took Ilanna darker and you watch her get destroyed but then you see her just go dark and take out whoever had anything to do with the fire . She is out for revenge and she isn't going to stop until they are all dead . She becomes such a fighter and grows up a lot in this book. Her friends and fellow house journeymen also grow up and become such strong characters . 

  From the first page you will be sucked in . The first chapter will have you crying it is a gut wrenching chapter where the main character looses everything . Yes I admit I shed a tear when I was reading this chapter . The author takes us on such an emotional roller coaster ride .  From the first devastating page through the sewers of Voramis . You are taken on a journey of revenge and then saving of those she love the most . You are taken on a fast paced journey . There are epic battle scenes where you will be cheering and screaming at your kindle . There are emotional scenes where you will shed a few tears but I will tell you this you won't be able to put this book down , I got a very big book hangover with this one . I was very invested in Ilanna and the gang . They are like part of the family and you want them to all be happy , The ending will have you going wth didn't see that one coming .  I strongly suggest you read the first two books so you get to know the characters and see how they grow and develop . Kind of sad that the series is slowly coming to an end. So if you want a great story that will have you up all night . This is the book for you .
