                    MY REVIEW

 When Hades, the God of the Underworld is out trying to calm his raging heart. He comes a cross a paradise and a woman who stills his black heart.  A sweet goddess who just wants a life of her own and a man who will love only her. When Persephone, a sweet goddess who just wants a life of her own and to be out of her mother's shadow and not to marry the god her mother picked out for her.  She meets Hades and her life changes as he abducts her and hides her in the Underworld. Where she fights and figures out that Hades is more then the devil that they make him out to be. Will the love they are forming be able to keep them together or will the darkness and a mother's manipulation keep them apart. 

   Hades and Persephone have always been characters that I feel have been underrated in story telling.  Hades is a dark man who only knows the depths of hell but underneath that there is a man that is looking for love that he can have as his own. He is sexy and when he can he can be sweet and kind, Persephone is lightness and she is sweet and kind but there is a dark side to her that is just waiting to be woken up. They go together they are the both sides of the same coin. They bring out the best in each other and Hades will burn down the world for her.

  This is a really good retelling of Hades and Persephone story. The author takes them on with a great twist as an enemies to lovers romance. The characters are well written and complex and we really get to see the characters behind the iconic god and goddess.  The author takes us on such a ride there is so much emotion that come from the two main characters. You will love them and there are moments  you will want to slap Hades or hug both of them. If you want a book where there is no real hero but a villain that will burn down the world to save his love. This is the book for you, check it out .

IT'S TIME TO SNUGGLE DOWN WITH A GOOD BOOK

   Good morning peeps, I hope you all had a fantastic weekend and had some great books to read. I have for you today, BITE OF THE GARGOYLE  by Hp Mallory and JR Rain

  I’m a hunter.

But I don’t hunt the usual game you might find in forests—I hunt monsters.

                   MY REVIEW 

   Jo is a hired gun, she is a monster hunter and when hired by a town to get rid of the monster that is terrorizing them She comes back to her past and the dark man that killed her family. There is a dangerous man that she feels like she knows from the past but can't put a finger on where and when, These aren't your ordinary vampires, this one can shift into a gargoyle. Now she finds herself a prisoner again, she has to choose get help from the one man who could hurt her in more ways then just taking her life or will she have her vengeance. 

   Well I must say that the characters in this book are original in a way that they have mixed the gargoyle and vampire myths successfully.  Derith and Balor are opposites in so many ways. Derith  comes off as a beast but Balor is the real beast through out the book.  Joe is a tough girl who can fight with the best of them . There is a secret that Jo has but she doesn't even realize it until with Dearth.  Each character is well written and complex. Jo will make you cheer for her and Dearth is swoon worthy and Balor you just want to well use your imagination. 

  This is one of those stories that will have you on the edge of your seat by the end of chapter 2. The characters are well written and complex and you will either love them or hate them depending on the chapter you are on.   This a stand alone book will have you on the edge of your seat and swooning at the same time . If you want a a fantasy romance book , yes  there is romance through out the book. Check it out you will have a fun time reading .

HAPPY RELEASE WEEK

  Good morning peeps hope you are having a great week and finding some great reads. Today I have for you book 17 in the Hot Damned series A FASHIONABLE DISASTER by Robyn Peterman.

  The richbloodsuckersdon’t want to pay taxes. Too bad, so sad.

They’re the least of my problems right now. At the wise suggestion of my beloved mate, I indulge in a little retail therapy so I don’t dismember the pissed off crew of greedy Vamps who don’t want to pay their fair share.

How could a trip to the happiest place on earth aka Target go wrong?

Let me count the ways…

Martha and Jane want to ride in the cart.

Vinnie convinces me to buy chicken potholders because everyone needs poultry inspired oven mitts.

Most horrifying? I’ve run into the most dastardly and most boring enemy yet, and they’ve turned my happy place into a nightmare.

Their diabolical powers have already put Ethan into a trance, and I’m next on their list.

I’m going to have to rely on my unconventional crew, Martha, Jane, Vinnie and some undead mimes hopped up on caffeinated blood, if I want to kick ass and end this supernatural snoozefest. Adding my untrustworthy, homicidal sister to the mix might end in catastrophe, but it’s a case of the Devil made me do it.

Disaster has struck again, but I’ll handle it on my terms—fashionably and with no mercy. May the best Vamp stay awake long enough to win… and let it be me.

                     MY REVIEW

  Astrid and Ethan are back with Martha and the rest of the gang. When Ethan is put in a sleep like trance from the most boring enemy ever . It is up to Astrid and the gang to figure how to wake up the vampires. Target shopping is on hold and the hunt is on, will they be able to find out how to wake the vamps and will they survive . 

   Astrid and the gang are back and honestly funnier then ever. Astrid has grown into her  role as compassion but she has to put on her big girl panties and figure out what is going on and how to fix it . She has come a long way since the beginning. Martha and Jane are back and funnier then ever. Vinnie is sweet and wanting to help find out what is happening.  We also get to meet Astrid's sister who is trying to redeem herself and also new vampires that suck the energy out of you which are boring everyone to basically sleep. These characters are well written and you fall in love all of them. 

  This is the 17 book in the series but the story gets funnier and funnier . The author is one funny writer who can put her characters in any situation and make it funny. This is a fast read and I laughed so hard at what the author put the characters through. I really like this series and can't wait till the next book. So if you want a fun fast read that will have you splitting a gut laughing . Check out this series.
