BOOK BLURB

The 1st book (20k novella) in The Emma Wild Holiday Mystery Series. Includes Holiday Drink Recipes!

After breaking up with hunky movie star Nick Doyle, Grammy Award-winning singer Emma Wild returns to her hometown for Christmas to get away from it all. In Hartfield, a small town in Ontario, Canada, she gets caught up in a murder case after a fan's drink is poisoned at the Chocoholic Cafe, owned by Emma's sister Mirabelle.

Who is the killer and was the drink originally intended for Emma? To add to the chaos, Sterling Matthews is the detective on the case. He'd shattered her heart nine years ago and inspired all her hit singles, but now they must work together to find the murderer before the murderer finds Emma.

This is the first book in the Emma Wild 4-book Holiday Series.

MY REVIEW

Grab a cup of hot chocolate a snuggling blanket and get read for a cute Christmas read. Meet Emma Wild. A Grammy award winning singer and song writer. She is heart broken after breaking up with her movie star boyfriend. She heads home to Hartfield Ontario to her family for Christmas. Where there is an attempt on her life and a murder of another Emma . As Emma finds out the love of her life is now a police detective signed to the case. As they work through the case they work out the reasons why they broke up and rekindle their romance.
This is the first book in the series and is a cute light Christmas read. The characters are believable they are flawed in a way that makes you care for them. Its a great hometown read . That is based in Canada, which is awesome all on their own. The romance is there but it isn't on the forefront. There is hints of it through out the book . But it more of a mystery and intrigue. Emma become a detective to help out .
The reader takes us on a very sweet ride in small town romance. The only thing wrong is there is a big cliff hanger. Other then that its a great evening read full of mystery, suspense and full of surprises
Check it out , if you like mystery combined with a little laughter check it out . Have an awesome Christmas read
