  Good afternoon my peeps , I hope your weekend is going great and you are reading some great books . Today I have for you book 5 in the Trailer Park Vampire series .REDNECKS AND REDCAPS by Hp Mallory and J.R Rain.

 It’s the calm before the storm…

When my ex, Alton, arrived in Windy Ridge, I never thought he’d decide to stay.

And that was a big assumption on my part because now that Alton’s here, I can’t get him out of my business.

And there’s a part of me that seems to be just fine with that.

I don’t know what’s going on with this vampire physiology of mine, but it seems like I can’t keep my fangs retracted where Dean and Alton are concerned, and that’s gonna send me right into crazy territory.

And what’s worse? The two of them are now working together—trying to build up some kind of law system for Damnation County.

And I’m more than sure they’re comparing notes where I’m concerned.

As if that weren’t bad enough, I think there’s another killer on the loose.

Only this killer isn’t targeting our citizens, but the natural wildlife of Windy Ridge. And I’m pretty sure whoever’s responsible isn’t one of the crazies in the woods.

When an enormous black bear shows up dead in the center of the street, with five claw marks swiped across its belly, I’m worried that something wicked this way already came.

And whatever it is, it’s still stalking the woods…

                     MY REVIEW 

 Twila is well she is still having a bad day, they seem to be just bleeding into each other .She is trying to come to terms with her feelings for her boyfriend Dean the town sheriff and Alton who came back into her and Sicily. It is even worse that Dean and Alton are combining forces and building the new police force, On top of that the mother n law from well you all know where is there demanding time with her granddaughter . If she can handle all that she can handle the new threat to their tiny community. After finding a black bear dead in the middle of the street they are sent off on a new mystery stalking its way around the woods. 

  Twila and the gang are back and funnier then ever. Twila is conflicted in this book her feelings are leading her in circles. Between being torn between the two men in her life, trying to keep her daughter safe and trying not to unalive her mother n law . Her day is pretty full. She is a great friend and mother but still is hiding a few things from those around her. Alton and Dean are basically the same guy in a way . Alton is debonair  and as sweet as all go get and Twila's ex, he is a good guy with a heart of gold . Dean is also a great guy with a deep respect and love for Twila and Sicily. They both are great guys . We get to meet a redcap in this installment a  young girl who with anger issues has been wandering the woods feeling so angry that she is killing animals to help with what she has become .Redcaps are a mythological creature that kills and dips his hat in the blood to calm himself. I love these core characters so very much they have grown and become more complex with each book and we get to meet new characters along the way. 

  This I think is one of the more fun books in the series , we really get to see more of what goes on day to day in town and we get to see a lot more angst with Twila and the two men in her life. I can't wait to see where the authors are going to take the characters and what is going to be coming up next in the series . Such a fun series to read this summer , check it out You will not be disappointed .
