  Good morning my peeps, I hope your Tuesday is going along magically.  Today I have for you the second book in the  Blood Rose Academy and book 27 in the Haven Hollow series, BLOOD BOND  by Hp Mallory and J.R Rain.

Even though I definitely have a thing for vampires, that doesn’t mean I wanted to become one…

And it definitely didn’t mean I wanted to be blooded by a vampire psychopath.

But here we are.

Well, here I am anyway—stuck inside the cellar of an old store on the outskirts of Blood Rose Academy and under the control of my new vampire sire, Valserak.

One thing he’s not betting on, though, is the fact that the fae can survive becoming the undead with their powers intact.

And guess what? I’m half fae.

So the first chance I get, I cut a portal to the Autumn Court in search of my father so I can recruit his help against Valserak and the other vampires who are gearing up for Blood War Three.

                         MY REVIEW 

  Astrid is in a heap of trouble and Maverick is on his way to find her. As she is being held in a cellar by a vicious vampire. Maverick blows into the academy under cover to find out what happened to Astrid and boy does he have to fight to get anywhere . Witches are stuck up and on edge and are throwing  hexes  like they were baseballs. Mav and Talliyah are on the hunt to find his missing sister and get to the bottom of why kids are going missing. Will they get to the bottom and will they find Astrid before everything blows up.

 The gang is back and better then ever. Maverick is becoming a totally different man. He isn't as self centered and arrogant as he once was. He is a force to be reconned with and now has nothing to prove to anyone. I truly love how mature he is becoming, he is growing up . Astrid is well she is going through so much after being kidnapped she is doing everything to get away. She finds out there is more to her then just being a witch  and now she is fighting with her new found powers and her wits to get out . I have truly come to love these characters and how they grow with each book . Even when we meet new characters they all meld together nicely . 

 This is the second book in the spin off and I truly enjoyed reading . The authors really know how to grow the characters and make the stories worth reading . I couldn't put this book down cause I got really invested on if they were going to find Astrid and I really wanted to find out who her dad was. The story is a fast fun read that will have you laughing out loud especially Mav and a New Jersey accent .  You don't have to read the Haven Hollow series to read this spin off series but it would be a lot of fun to get to know the characters even more . So if you want a fun laugh out loud book check out this series,

                       MY REVIEW

 This anthology is packed full of good stories that are full of love and friends to lovers stories. 

 One of my favourite stories was BRING ON HOLLY. by Tammy Godfrey. Holly and Zach who met on their way to basic training . When a layover has them waiting in the airport on Valentine's day.  They have shared Valentine's day every year since doing everything that a normal couple does on that day. Dinner, drinks, snacks and much more. When an old flame comes back it breaks Zach's heart or will Zach finally get his Holly. 

   The characters in this short story are well written. Zach is the sweet guy you want in your life and he is the best friend every girl wants. Holly to me is a tease, she has her moments but sometimes she comes off as a stuck up woman . I know she doesn't really know what she wants but she does a lot of growing through out the story.

  This is a fun fast read that will have you giggling all the way through as you read how these two find their way through the life both wanting more . This is the first story I have read from this author and I enjoyed the story . I wish we could of had the characters and the story line flushed out a little more, but I know that they only have limited space. Overall I really enjoyed the story and all the stories in the anthology. If you like friends to lovers stories check it out

                     MY REVIEW 

  In the kingdom of Hollowvale, hope has disappeared goodness has been taken over by villains and the townspeople have no happily ever after's.  Until a sleeping beauty has been awakened and the hope is restored  Our heroines are starting to come into their own and taking what is theirs to take . Will they be able to bring back their kingdom to life or will they fail in their endeavors.

 Each story is full of great characters that are complex and well written . In the Wish Maker we meet Gretchen a poor girl who is basically a slave to her father . When the children of the town start disappearing around the village. She is more then she realizes when push comes to shove she realizes that she is more .  She is out to find the children and the fae and find out her true destiny. 

 This story was one of those stories that you wished would continue a little longer . The author does a very good retelling of Rumpelstiltskin. The characters are well written and complex . The story moves fast and makes you wanting more. Trust me I wanted to see how Gretchen gets her happiness. I will say each author weaves great stories and create a great kingdom . If you want a collection of dark fantasy check it out . I promise each story will take you away

  Good morning peeps hope your week is going well. Today I have for you the third book in the Trailer Park Vampire series GUT ROT AND GARGOYLES by Hp Mallory and J.R Rain.

 Something sinister’s afoot in Windy Ridge...

When my mole-rat boss (and I do mean that literal like) goes missing, I’m pretty sure something wicked this way already came.

Because Dorcas isn’t the type to miss a shift at the diner, let alone missing three danged days!

So, when Sheriff Dean and I go looking for her, and we find her trailer all topsy-turvy, the writing is pretty much on the wall. Dorcas has been mole-rat napped!

Not only that, but the singular clue left in the pile that used to be her trailer is a stone arm—one that’s as animated as Dr. Frankenstein’s creature.

Only problem? That animated arm’s got no mouth so he can’t tell us what happened.

Things only go from strange to stranger when I discover a lost dog in the cemetery. Come to find out, that lost dog is the answer to everything that’s happened.

Throw in the facts that my fangs have been hunkering for Sheriff Dean’s jugular, and Sicily’s pa decides to make a grand entrance into our lives, and my life’s just about as dramatic as one of them daytime sitcoms.

It’s times like this that I wish alcohol still had an impact on my vampire physiology ’cause if this ain’t a good enough reason for a shot o’ moonshine, I don’t know what is!

                         MY REVIEW

  Welcome back to Windy Ridge, where things aren't what you expect to be.  Twila is back and taking care of business. Dorcas has gone missing along  with the rat boss. When they find her trailer over turned over and an animated arm that wants to attack anything and everything. And if things could get any worse they find a dog that could be the be the saving grace to this whole thing. Now if she can get her feeling for Sheriff Dean and wanting to take a bite of his jugular. If a shot of moon shine doesn't help them out nothing will . 

 Twila and the gang are back and funnier then ever. Twila is having a bad day and boy it is a bad day. She is trying to keep her vampire side under control. She is feisty and wanting to get to the bottom of what is going on. Dean back also and well and sexy as sin and helping out with everything. They are getting better and better with each book . We get to meet new and interesting characters along the way also. The best character was to me the Frankenstein arm that was attacking everyone and everything. The way these develop is so much fun to read and love.

 This the third book in the series and when you start reading you will be laughing all the way through. The characters are well written and complex. We get to delve into their lives and get to see them try and get their new lives figured out. I really enjoyed this book and loved the characters and the story was a little bit out there . This is a great addition to the series so if you want to have a fun fast read check it out you will have a fun laugh out time of it .
