                           MY REVIEW 

  Kari has ben rescued by the one man who can maybe heal her in the process . When Sven  sees Kari at a sector party he is over come with the desire to protect and heal . When he gets he to safety and in his arms she is broken beyond repair . She may be trying to get under his skin with her ways but to find out the way to help her . They go through a lot and when he finally finds the fighter hidden deep down inside he knows that its time to help her burn down the sector that was once her home and her darkest fear .

 Ok I am going to warn you right here and right now . Kari is broken and I mean broken . She is the darkest space ever .  She is basically a shell of a human being just relying on her wolf to hold it together . They have a a disconnect between them . As she heals we see a woman who is willing to fight for what she wants . Sven is an alpha and he is the kind of alpha is loving and nurturing to the one he loves and needs . They are are suited to each other and when they are together they are awesome . Kazek and Winter are back and ready for the fight . These characters are very well written and  complex . 

 I am going to tell you this book isn't for the faint of heart . There is some really dark things that go on in the first part of the book . There is talk of rape, dark depressing thoughts of suicide . It also deals with human trafficking and the after math of dealing with all of this . The main character also has PTSD  and watching her work through all of what happened to her . Breaks your heart into a million pieces . The author doesn't leave us sad for too long . We get to see her start to grow an become the fighter she is . The author really takes us on a rollercoaster ride . You will love the characters and the story will have you on the edge of your seat through most of the book . I will admit I did shed some tears when I was reading Kari 's back story and what happned to her . You can read this as a stand alone but if you really want to get into the X Clan series .

GOOD MORNING EVEYONE

  Good morning all , today is a non reader round up book . I will admit i totally forgot about having to do a blog post . Must organize better. So here we go I have a new author to me and his book  KILL THE GIANTS ( A Rogan novel ) by Steven L Strewsbury

                      MY REVIEW

   When Rogan a keltos warrior emerges out of a battle the only survivor . Slaying a nephillin giant , he receives a mammoth that was gifted to the kings .  Soon warriors are sent to recapture the mammoth and take it to the fabled city of Irem  for the lord of the world Zazele who is a demon in human form . When Rogan's sister is to be the sacrifice to this god . Rogan must fight the warriors and save his sister, will he be able to get to her in time and will he survive. 

 There are some great characters in this book the main character is Rogan a fierce warrior who sometimes is way too cocky for his own good . Now you are going to laugh at me but as a character I really loved the mammoth . The author made the mammoth almost people like when  he is saving Rogan and fighting with Rogan . There are a lot of characters through out this book that are all well written and unique . Each character is complex and well written and I truly enjoyed them .

 This is one of those books where you settle down with a blanket and a good cup of tea and no distractions .  Then you start reading you get sucked into a magical world where the author paints a wonderful world and you are taken on a roller coaster ride . The characters are well crafted and complex and you will be on the edge of your seat most of the time . But I did find that it did lag in a few spots and it felt a little slow not enough to stop reading . Over all I really enjoyed this book and would like to read more from this author . So if you want a good fantasy book with some great characters check it out .

                    MY REVIEW 

 Kazek Flor is the huntsman and the second in the Norse Sector under Ludvig . When he is sent to the Winter Sector to a engagement party for the princess and her betrothed . Well lets say the party was one never to forget and Kazek ends up with more then he bargained for with a stow away on the plane . When he finds Snow he finds his missing piece even when she keeps denying that she is an omega , she has been told her whole life that she was a beta . When they figure everything out and her true identity . They are out for vengeance and to take back her sector from the evil queen of mirrors

  This is a dark retelling of Snow White with a dystopian feel to it . The main characters are well written and complex . Snow aka Winter is feisty , and well lets just say stubborn as mule some days. She is a strong woman and becomes eve stronger when with Kazek . Kazek is all alpha and he is also haunted by his past . He is ready to fight for what is his . He will do anything to protect everyone . Together they are a powerful couple and will do what ever it takes to be the ones to give back the land to Snow.  There are a lot of characters that help out the duo along the way . The Queen of Mirrors is truly evil , she has done so much to hurt  Snow . She is arrogant and all she thinks of is herself . These characters are well written and complex. 

  This is one of those books that will have you on the edge or your seat most of the time . The other times you are blushing and fanning yourself.  The author does a great job retelling the snow white tale . You are taken to a world of snow and ice where the wolves are the ruling party. I truly liked this retelling it was darker and more daring in so many ways . The characters are well written and I truly like Kazek and Winter . I couldn't stop reading I was hooked by chapter 2 . I felt it flowed really well and didn't drag anywhere at all . It can be read as a stand alone but if you want to know more about some of the characters that are mentioned you can read book one and then this one . So if you want a hot book with sexy shifters and a good story retelling check it out .
