                         MY REVIEW 

 WHAT HAPPENS ON HOLIDAY STAYS ON HOLIDAY , right . Well that might not be the case for Penny and Alec. On a girls holiday in Cancun with her friends, Penny is having the time of her life and when she spots Alec at the pool after coming in from the surf , looking all handsome. Alec is thinking when he sees Penny a night will be fun but as they get to know each other both of them are thinking maybe one night won't be enough. When they find out they are from the same town things are looking up but when they get home things don't go as planned and hearts will be broken. Will they both over come the insecurities they have and realize that they belong together. 

  Penny and Alec what can you say about them. Alec is kind of sexy geek with a bad boy mouth on him. But, there is an insecurity to him.  He might just want a real relationship and not a fling. He is one of those men that women would love to have in their lives . He can be demanding when he want something and the something is Penny. Penny is having fun and celebrating her birthday when she meets Alec. She comes off as a confident woman but there is as underlying sadness to her. It seems she has been hurt and doesn't want to jump into a relationship . Sex is what she wants and with Alec it is mind blowing . She has trouble with true feeling and when they bubble up that is when the problems start for the couple. With the help of their friends they try and find their way back to each other .  These two are a fun couple and well written , you feel like you are in a real relationship with these two . 

  This is the first book in a new series for this author. She takes us on a fun filled vacation story that you will want to have . The characters are well written and the author does show the vulnerability in both of them through out. I did enjoy the book but there were moments where I just wanted to slap both of them upside the head for the sheer stubbornness of both of them. This is one of those books that have lots of romantic times and also some miscommunications which will actually have you laughing in some areas . This would be a fun book to read on your summer vacation or just a day at the beach . Check it out .

   Good day my peeps, today is I think day 4 of reader round up novels . I have for you today EVERYBODY PAYS  book 6 in the Detective Cadillac Holland mystery series.by H Max Miller

  When the missing diaries of the mobster Marion Puglisi Detective Cadillac Holland is trying to keep one step ahead of the people that want them. The diaries go missing on the eve of Puglisi 's release and there are the Italian mafia in New Orleans to the Dixie Mafia to the Russian gangster , they all want those books for one reason on another . Everyone is willing to do anything get those diaries even kill for them. Will detective Holland keep one step ahead and keep himself alive in the process.

  Cadillac and the gang are back and funnier then ever . Cadillac is having such a time of it lately. He is trying so hard not get killed while figuring out what is going on. He is still bumbling around sort of way about him but he has a great mind and will always figure out what has happened. He still has his love for food . There is such a fun ensemble cast of characters through out the book that really help Cadillac out or want to kill him depends on the day. They are such well written and complex and each of them have their own personality and quirks that pop of the page at you. There are characters that you will love and those that you just can't stand. 

  This is the 6th book in the series and it stands up very well, the author really upped his game in this book . There are a lot of threads through out the book and I will admit i did get a little confused in parts but the author got me back on track . I truly enjoyed this book so if you want a great mystery with rich characters check out this series .

 The return of Daniel Twist where he completes his level as spirit tamer, to advance as a Souldier rank in the Elite Group. From then he is forced to leave his family to journey into the Land of Celestial, where he encounter's other many other spirit tamers in different class rankings from all over who too have opened the box of spirits in hopes of gaining favor for the king of creation. However dangers still lurk in shadows as the Sins start to unfold for Daniel. Such as facing the Omni Spirits, powerful spirits that make the Alpha spirits look like nothing.                      MY REVIEW 

  Daniel Twist is completing his level of a spirit tamer to advance his training in becoming a soldier in an Elite group. He is force to leave his family and travel to a faraway land of Celestial where he meets other spirit tamers, who have opened the box of spirits . In hopes of getting close to the King of Creation. But like with everything there are hidden dangers and when sins start to unfold and announce themselves to Daniel. He finds himself facing Omni Spirits that make Alpha spirits look like a walk in the park. Those sins are controlled by an unholy Magi who has eyes on Daniel for some dark reason. 

   The characters in this book are well written . Daniel is a young man wanting to do what is right and rank up as a soldier . He is a no nonsense guy with a good head on his shoulders . He knows the difference between right and wrong but when push comes to shove  With the cast of characters that come in and help Daniel out through out his training . We get to see some friends start to become family and help each other out .

   This is such a good story, there is action and adventure through out the book . The author paints a picture of a time and a place where spirits are caught and tamed . Where good and bad are entwined in a way that you don't know if they are really that bad or that good . I honestly felt like it was in the same category a of another wizarding book . But this book is darker and just a little edgier. I truly enjoyed this story and want to see more from him . So if you have a teen that enjoys fantasy books , check it out for a good summer read .

I hate lies.

I know from personal experience they ruin lives. To me, every lie has a color. The only lies I usually tell are pink ones; they don't hurt anyone, but they make my life more exciting, much less—well, bland, and I don't even have to leave the comfort of my home.

Then one night, I go against everything I believe and tell a gray lie, the kind that can hurt others, and it happens in front of one of the sexiest men I've ever seen. Now, I must keep telling these lies, so he doesn't catch onto my secret. These gray lies are now turning into one of the worst-colored lies—black. This is why I hate all lies other than the pink ones.

To make things worse, this gorgeous man is dragging me around to do every pink lie I ever told; I have a feeling he knows I'm a liar.

I hate liars, even though I am one.

Chalk it up to a bad past relationship. I don't want to be around liars, or get stuck in another relationship with one. But when the petite blonde in the bar makes a comment I know to be one whopper of a lie, I feel I need to do something about it, even though I must lie to her in turn—trust me, I know how hypocritical it is. Still, something about Jo draws me in, as much as it pushes me away.

My scheme to out her as a liar, opens my eyes to fun and, quite possibly, love. I do know one thing I refuse to do is fall for another liar, no matter how attracted I am to her.

I hate liars, even though I am one.

                       MY REVIEW 

  Jo hates lies she knows that they can hurt people . She labels each type of lie with a color  The pink lies don't hurt anyone so those are the ones she tries to tell . Until the night she tells a grey lie , which could hurt someone, not only she tells the lie but she tells it in front of the most handsome man she has met . Roman, he hates all liars male and female, after a bad relationship he hates them all . Until the night he runs into Jo at the bar and after hearing her tell the whopper of a lie and now he wants to catch her in the lie and call her out. Even if he has to lie to her to get her to open up. Will they be able to figure out what is going on and finally figure out that they are meant to be together. 

  Roman and Jo as such fun characters , they are two sides of the same coin but they just don't know it . Jo hates liars and tries not to lie but when does she tell one its a whopper . She is a sweet woman who has labeled lies colors . When she meets Roman. who is one hot man and also kind of full of himself. He tries his worst to see if he can get her caught in her own lies . But as they hang out they find out there is more to them then meets the eye. Like falling in love and finally having the relationship worth having. This book does have an ensemble cast of characters that come and go through out the book and keep Jo and Roman on the right path sort of way. Each character is well written and they are complex . You will like them and fall in love with them by the end of the book. 

  This is one those books that once you start you will be sucked in trying to figure out what their true hearts have . It is a love story that is mixed with a kind of revenge story between the two main characters. I love that the main female character has named colors to the lies she hears and when the main guy tries to figure her out well there is romance. Lots of romance . I do like this story and the authors way of writing so if you want a good story with lots of fun characters check it out . A great beach book for this summer .
