MY REVIEW
Knotted is the first book in the series and it is an emotional second chance at love . The author starts off with a bang . We meet Conor and Jake , sweethearts at sixteen . Where the one night where they were going to pledge their love to each other . Thing turned horrible as Conor is assaulted over and over and Jake has to witness the assault . Conor is sent away after the assault and away from the young man she loved with all her heart . But things are not as rosy for either of them when they are apart . When they finally see each other will they be able to pick up the pieces and put the past behind them .
The author wrote some really good characters . We see Jake and Conor at the innocent part of their life . Then we see them all grown up , hiding things from each other. Conor is such a good woman . She is trying to get over what is happening but she is struck with ptsd and has so many triggers . It is like she is broken into a million pieces . When she finally comes home she is shattered again because of Jake . She becomes stronger and more determined as the book goes on . With Jake's help she starts to over come some of her triggers . Jake is wow what can I say about Jake . He is sexy as sin , a little arrogant but has a heart of gold when it comes to Conor . He is hiding a lot from Conor but does come through it all and they both start to heal. They were a cute couple when we first meet them but the adult versions are so hot and will set you kindle on fire .
There are so many twists and turns in this book . The author will have you on the edge of your seat the whole time, There is a trigger at the beginning of the book which might not be for the feint of heart . Trust me people you will laugh, and cry buckets trust me have a box of Kleenex beside you . Also have a fan cause it gets hot and I mean hot. This is another hit for this author . I can't wait to read the rest of the series . So if you like hot cowboys with tortured souls this series will be the series for you .
