What would you do if all of a sudden the life you were living turned out to be built on lies . Nothing you thought was real turned out not . Meer Joe Lynch , six days ago he was living a good life , with a wonderful wife , good job a son . Until the day he say his wife heading to a hotel and having an argument with their best friend . After fighting Joe leaves the man bleeding and unconscious . But that doesn't end there, his world starts to unravel after the man disappears and suspicion lands squarely on Joe's shoulders . What he does now is to save his family but can he trust the woman he loves and will he survive the man she brought into their lives .
The first part of this book had me on the edge of my seat . You watch Joe start to loose his whole life slowly , you can't get enough. You want to make it so much better for them You watch his life unravel before your eyes . You start to think were is his best friend , did Joe kill him or is he just playing with them . Will Joe ever figure out if he is playing cat and mouse with Joe and his family. You really feel for Joe as he tries to unravel what is going on . One moment you want to hug him and the next min you want to scream at him to watch his back. There are moments though when Joe just seems naïve and you want to shake him. Mel, his wife is really kind of annoying . She just lies and lies . You really can't trust her from the very beginning . She treats Joe like dirt some of the time . Now Ben wow what can you say about Ben he is well lets just say he is evil and he needed to be gone .
This was a good read the first part of the book had me on the edge of me seat I couldn't put it down . Then it started going off in so many different directions it was hard to keep track of what was happening . I felt that some of the craziness that the author put the main character through could of been trimmed back just a little and it would of kept the story flowing better . Over all I truly enjoyed this book and would recommend it to someone that wants to have a good fall read . The twist in the end is worth it .
