                           MY REVIEW 

    What do you do if you are a witch that can kick a shifters butt . You work for the Void to help keep the peace in New Orleans . Phoebe Kilsen is a vampire hunter and is smack dab in the middle of the war brewing in New Orleans . When her best friend and her husband go missing . It will take Phoebe and her sexy shifter partner Dax to find them . Trust is broken and secrets are betrayed . Will Phoebe and Dax be able to find their friends and stop the battle brewing in their town of Crescent City . 

  This is a brand new series for this author and I couldn't put it down . I got sucked in from the first chapter. I love the characters Phoebe is kick butt and so sassy . She is such a strong woman and she takes on the strongest man and bring him to his knees . But she also has a curse . The author doesn't really tell us about the curse but she alludes to it . I hope she brings more of the curse out in other books . I truly like Phoebe and her attitude. She is the friend you want in your corner when you need her .  Now Dax well what can we say about him . He is hot , sexy and oh so yummy . He is a wolf shifter who has the hots for Phoebe and they are hot together oh so hot together . But he has secrets that he is trying to figure out . They make a great team and when push comes to shove they are there for each other and will tear down New Orleans to find each other and the ones they love . 

    This is one of those books that when you sit down to read it be prepared to be in the same spot until you are finished the book. I have never laughed so hard at some of the antics Phoebe and the guys get up too . They are such a fun read . The author puts them through so much at times you just want to hug them and tell them that everything will be ok. This is a spin off series of the Crescent City Faes series but you don't need to know them to read this series . The characters are fresh and fun and you will love to read them . There is a mystery , intrigue and sexy times . You will laugh and maybe shed a tear or two . Also you might throw you kindle across the room cause well lets just say Dax could peeve you off a bit but he does redeem himself . So if you want a great series that will keep you glued to your seat until you are done . This is the series for you . You should add this series to you fall reading list . You will not be disappointed .
