   Good morning my peeps I think we are on day six of  novellas for reader round up. Today I have you a highlander/dragon book for you. HER SCOT OF YESTERYEAR , MacLeod Dragons book one by Sky Purington.

                         MY REVIEW 

 What would you do if the stories you have heard for years were true. The man fated for you lived six centuries before you were even born. A highlander. Well Aspen found out when she moved to New Hampshire , when the stories that were told to her as a child are actually real. As she finds out as she is whisked back in time to meet the brooding laird of the clan Mcleod. With the help of the Viking sword the two of them that pulls them together and ignites a passion that can not be denied but also brings so much unwanted attention to them.  That sparks a blood feud that could threaten history itself. When Aspen does the unthinkable so that she will not be torn away from Broderick . She must become the mistress of his enemy just to make the king happy and then that might bring some peace. 

   Aspen and Broderick are a couple that defy the ages . Aspen is a modern woman well lets just say she is a witch, along with her sisters.  She is strong willed an a little defiant when it comes to getting what she wants. She is very intelligent and kind of a thrill seeker so she is a hand full for the Laird Macleod. Broderick is a brooding, standoffish oh the most important thing he is also a dragon warrior.  He is mourning a lost love but when he sees Aspen things change and he can't get enough of her. They go through so much to be together and when they get back together the sparks fly . These are truly well written characters and I love how the author put them through things but brought them back together. 

  This is a great book for those who love highlanders and also sexy dragons . The story moves very fast and you get swept away into the story and the all that goes with it . The characters are well written and complex you can't help but cheer for them to survive and get back to each other. This is a book that you can read in an evening all curled up under a plaid blanket and a good shot of scotch to warm your insides as you read. A definite read for all your fall reading lists .
