Woohooo the weekend is here , we made it to Friday . Today I have a book from one of my new favourite fantasy author. REYANNA'S PROPHECY by Whit McClendon

 Welcome to Reyanna and the guardians , a world of magic and prophecy. Where evil sorcerers are trying to get what they want from Gart and Reyanna struggles with the power she has . Will Reyanna and her guardians figure out the riddle before Gart bring on the end of the world . 

    Ok let me catch my breath here , I got this book and dived right on in . Well lets say the characters had me hooked from the first chapter . There is a wide range of characters that will have you captivated . Reyanna the main character is feisty and can fight with the best of them . She is a human that has been raised with the noble Weya and she has worked hard to pass all their tests and now she can kick some butt. I truly loved her . Lets talk about Gart , he is well he is crazy and obsessed with reuniting with his love .  There are so many delightful characters in this book and you will find your favourite . Theses are my two .  They are written so well and complex you will want to wrap them up and keep them safe or slap them upside the head and tell them to smarten up . 

   This book has it all action , mystery and magic . The author has a way of taking us on an adventure full of magic and fantasy . I was like with all this authors books was hooked by the end of chapter one .  When you start reading this book you are transported to a place where you can actually see the book in your mind . For me this book kind of has a shall I say it , a Harry Potter feel to it but with swords and kick butt fight scenes .   This book would be great for your teens who love fantasy , I am actually going to gift this book to a friends daughter who loves fantasy . So if you want a great fantasy that will have you hooked this is the book for you . Add it to you summer reading list or your teens reading challenge

                           MY REVIEW 

  Kennedy Hewson is a busy woman , lets call her a workaholic . She has worked for so long she can afford the best of everything .  She has a list of things that she has accomplished . When she heads to Tennessee for a job she is going to cross one more thing off her list. Where low and behold she runs into the man that can make her relax and give her a sense of home where as noone else ever has . Will she realize that the serenity of country living be the one thing that Kennedy has been missing her whole life . 

    I found that I had some things in common with the main character Kennedy . She is feisty but also kind of insecure because of her past and her weight . Also the one she loved broke her heart . So she throws herself into work and become the best that she can . As you read you actually see her come into her own and realize that she can have it all and still have the love she wanted.

  Oh lets talk about Max , oh my goodness , he is a sweet southern gentleman . Who is oh so sexy and sweet . He meets Kennedy at the strip club where he makes her think he is the boss .  He wants a relationship with someone who will love him for him.  I would so bring him home to mom and dad . I truly liked him and Kennedy together as a couple . They so deserved to be with each other . 

    I sat down and started reading this book and I couldn't put the book down. I was totally thinking I had so much in common with the main character . Its hard when you have been heavy to see yourself as skinny . There are ups and downs the characters go through in this book . You just really want to hug them both and say everything is ok . The author will take you on a very emotional rollercoaster ride through out this book . I read it in an evening and think that this would be a great beach read for your summer reading list

 Well made it to hump day and the week is flying by. Today I have a new author to me  LaVerne Thompson, THE BEAST WITHIN .

                       MY REVIEW 

 After being cursed for over 300 years , Caleb and his family have been keeping the secret . Until the day he sees Lissette at the bar he owns . He feels this pull to her because she is the other part of his soul . What they don't know is that she can be the salvation for him or the death of them . 

    The characters in this story are well written , Lissette is a strong woman who doesn't take anything from anyone . She also comes from a long line of women that have an insight . She can kick butt and will do anything to protect the ones she loves .  Caleb is an alpha , oh so sexy and he knows what he wants and will go and get it . He is also caring and will do anything for those he cares about . I liked these characters as individuals but as a couple they were hot . For every good guy we also have the bad guy . Terrell well he was just a complete idiot and stalker . He was oh so creepy. Now Camille well she is just clueless and kind of the comic relief in the story . I picture her as a blonde for some reason . Then like all good romance stories we have the family that likes to interfere and boy do they ever . 

   I went into this story not knowing what was going to happen . This book took me by surprise  I really got into it . The characters are well written and you start to love them . The author takes us on an adventure through New Orleans and the bayou . There is action , intrigue and oh so much romance . This is a book you can get lost in for an afternoon . So if you want a good read for you summer beach read check it out .

                           MY REVIEW 

  Kader and Laurel are back and trying to find who is trying to have Laurel killed . They are on the trail but things are going to get even more complicated when they are alone on a ranch in the middle of nowhere . While there they are trying to figure each other out and trying to figure out if her family will be ok . Will they be able to figure each other out and will Laurel break through the hard shell of Kader . 

  

     Laurel and Kader are getting more and more complicated . Sometimes I will admit the Laurel is just a tad bit more defiant when it comes to Kader. She wants to break through his hard shell but she tries too hard some times . She is also shows more worry about everything in this book and it shows .  Kader well he is still so yummy and so alpha . There are moments though we see a sweeter kinder side to him . He is also having some feelings that he thought were long dead . There are moments where you really just want to either hug him or hit him in the back of the head with a frying pan to knock some sense into him . These two are so hot together , I love them as a couple . 

    This book starts where book one ends off on the road to the ranch . The author takes us on a very emotional ride this time . There is so much that happens in this one , the twists and turns will have you reading all night long .  This book has it all , suspense , mystery and romance and with romance there is heartbreak and a second chance at love . There is a twist at the end of the book that will make you gasp . I so can't wait for book three in the series . I really want to know what the research is that is so important and will Kader and Laurel find their happily ever after with each other . If you want a great series that will leave you wanting more check out the Tangled Web series . Add them to your summer reading challenge today . You will not be disappointed .
