Good Tuesday all , I hope that everyone is doing great , I think I have finally come through the fog of this dang cold . I must say being down and out gives you tonnes of time to read . Today we are going to review DIFFERENT NOT DAMAGED( dark fantasy short story collection ) by Andy Peloquin

                          BOOK BLURB

Strength from Weakness

Disability becomes Power

Six stories, one impactful message:
- A voiceless child painting visions of death.
- A killer with a deadly message plagued by a burden of guilt.
- A priestess divinely empowered to absorb others' pain.
- A soldier fighting for courage in the face of fear.
- A broken warrior-priest on a mission of vengeance.
- A thief desperate to escape the burden of his memories.
Betrayed by mind or body, these people struggle to survive in a grim world that takes no pity on the weak. Yet they will discover that they are simply different, not damaged.

You'll be hooked by this collection of fantasy stories that shatters the preconceptions of what is possible.

With each page you'll be drawn in further and further. These stories may even change the way you see the world.

                          MY REVIEW

This is a collection of short stories that will make you think . The author has written this book about different types of disabilities and trust me when you read theses stories they will change the way you see these special people .
The first story in the book is about a soldier dealing with his past and the battles he fought .  The ptsd of this soldier helps carry the story along . The second story is about a young artist who can't stand to be touched. This story actually broke my heart and made me understand more about autism spectrum just a bit . As each story gets better and pulls us in more .  All the characters are well written and you feel for them and start to understand them more .
The author writes this stories based in his fantasy world Voramis . When you read the characters you feel all of their emotions and you really feel their struggles . You start out feeling sorry for them but as you read you start to feel proud of what they can get through . Even though each story is different they flow together with ease . I would recommend this book to everyone who loves a fantasy book and wants flawed heros that will make you think a little different about people with disabilites
