WELCOME TO WEDNESDAY

Good morning all , hope your Wednesday is going well . Today we are going to review BLOSSOMING FLOWER by Vivian Winslow

                            BOOK BLURB

In the wake of the collapse of her father’s business empire, Flor, the gorgeous twenty-one year-old daughter of disgraced former Brazillionaire Gustavo de Lima, is forced to forge her own path in life. Flor decides that none of it—the private jets, the vacation homes and the luxury cars—were real. Or at least they really didn’t matter. The only thing that’s real for Flor is her love of horses and her desire to go to veterinary school. Heading into her final year of college, Flor seeks out the help of an unlikely benefactor to secure a summer internship working with horses. Arriving at the secluded Belo Horizonte ranch, Flor is awed not only by the majestic beauty of the place, but also by handsome cowboy and skilled horse trainer, Collin Taylor. Yet nothing is quite as it appears on the surface. When the hidden past is revealed, will love end up blossoming for Flor?

                      MY REVIEW

What would you do if you are 21 years old and the daughter of a disgraced Brazillionaire . You forge your own path and head to university and then vet school . Flor is that girl and when the summer comes and Flor needs a job. She heads to an old benefactor and an internship on a horse ranch. When she gets to the secluded ranch there is much more going on then she knows . Also a very handsome trainer Collin . Will Flor be able to figure out the secrets and will Collin and Flor come to terms with their feelings .
This is a good read and the characters are well written. I feel there could of been just a little bit more to them though . Flor is a sweet girl and a determined girl . She is trying to put her past behind her but it keeps coming back to bite her on the butt .  She is willing to do what she must to get through school and on to her dream . But sometimes she just comes off a little over dramatic in my eyes . She is trying too hard to separate herself from her past.
Collin is your typical brooding male who is better with horses then people sometimes . He is carrying a lot of weight on his shoulders . He does have times of sexiness but they are overshadowed sometimes . The cast of secondary characters really add to the story . They all have such an impact on the two man characters . They hold some of the cards from the past and why it is the way it is on the ranch
This is the first book I have read by this author and I was pleasantly surprised . The author takes us on a roller coaster ride of emotions . She puts the characters through a lot and they always come through the other side . There were a few things that I wanted to happen was more interaction with the horses . They say that there are horses in the book and I wished there was more interaction . Also the ending had me a little cranky yes there is a big cliff hanger . You don't know where Flor and Collin's relationship is going .  Over all I did enjoy the book loved the romance aspect. I will be checking out the other books in the series to see where they all end up . This would be a good read for the cabin while you are enjoying your summer evenings . Check it out
