MY REVIEW
Welcome to Alana Creek , where outlandish parties and shoot outs are the normal. The wild west has never been so crazy. Elizabeth and her mother run a hotel. After Elizabeth's step dad dies they find out about all the debts that are owed to the Randalls . Now the Randalls own the inn and now Elizabeth needs to help out the Randalls get something . That is when Elizabeth finds out the town is full of shifters , witches and mythical creatures and hunters . Will they be able to steal the dragons egg and will Elizabeth finally realize what she truly is .
The characters are well written , Elizabeth is a complicated character she is strong willed but also a little naïve in some ways . She has so much to deal with but when push comes to shove she is a fighter . When she finds out what she truly is she takes it in stride. There are so many characters in this book that are all well written and you will fall in love with them and hate them also . Hunter is another character I really liked . He is a good guy and wants to help Elizabeth out as much as he can . He is the strong sweet type of guy you would love to get to know.
I wasn't really sure what I was getting into when I started this book. I was pleasantly surprised and I really enjoyed the story. The characters will pull you in and the twist on the story when the dragon story line appears was so good . The author takes us on an adventure that will have you cheering through out . This is a quirky mash up of the old west , steam punk and the paranormal . I read this book in an evening . So if you like quirky books check it out and add it to your winter reading list
