BOOK BLURB\
Becca finally found her courage and faced her tormentors head on to get what she deserved: respect and Tyler Conklin. Becca’s faith in Tyler is solid, but is he willing to completely open up to her? They both have past baggage, and as Becca says, Tyler’s is particularly old.
With everything they have been through, Becca and Tyler know that secrets get them nowhere. They have made great leaps and bounds in their relationship, but Becca can’t help but feel he is still keeping something from her. Between the local detective snooping around and asking questions at the Conklin building and Tyler’s evasive answers, Becca remains skeptical about his excuses. The detective seems more interested in Tyler’s father’s “projects”, but Tyler’s hands seem to be in the pot as well.
Unfortunately, Tyler’s past comes back in his face along with his shady business. Will Becca hold true to her new found confidence and claim what’s hers… including Tyler?

KATHY'S REVIEW

Conklin's Foundation is the second book in Conklin's Trilogy, written by Brooke Page. I read the first book, Conklin's Blueprints, and fell in love with both Becca and Tyler, as well as the book and the author. I finished Blueprints and immediately one clicked this one so I could immediately continue reading this amazing love story. I was not disappointed.
In this sequel, it becomes even more evident that this new author has amazing talent. The story continues to be believable while it makes you feel all type of emotions! The sequel is well written, as the first book is, and again, it is a novel rather than a novella. I just feel deeper in love in with Tyler. Another well written work of art from Brook Page.
Unfortunately, I do not have the option to one click the third and final book of this series. I have to wait impatiently for it to be released and THIS has thrown me into a book hang over. I may not be able to read another book until the next book is released. There is no cliff hanger. I just can't get enough of Tyler and Becca.
Again, I highly recommend this book by Brooke Page. This second installment picks up where the first one stops without a cliff hanger. I do recommend that you read this series in order. It's not a bad thing because you'll not want to miss a second of Becca and Tyler!
Once again, I'm amazed and awed by the talent that this brand new author possesses! One click now and see for yourself!

guest reviewer today

Its Thursday all, its been so busy here lately. Got some great new books from a great little publishing coming coming down the pipe, so today I am going to have my guest reviewer Ashleigh take it away.
She is reviewing THE LONELY by Tara Brown

BOOK BLURB
Rated 19 +

This is not a love story. It is so much more. But like all things in life, you have to get past the worst to get to the best.

This is a dark and captivating novel, tread lightly.

The Lonely

The truth is subjective to what the lonely lets in.

Emalyn Spicer has lived with it for a long time. She thinks it goes back further than her memories do. She knows it goes back further than the OCD.

When she arrives at college, her OCD's and the lonely refuse to let her have her wish to be normal.

When she meets Sebastian and starts to fall for him, she lets herself believe it's possible to outrun the things chasing her from the past. But how to you get away from the things inside of you? How do you run from yourself?

Just as she gives up and succumbs to the lonely, the unthinkable happens. She finds herself once again trapped in the dark, once again held against her will.

This time she meets the lonely head on. In the darkest corners of her mind, she discovers there is more to her world than she ever imagined. She discovers that the lonely was there for her, protecting her from herself and her secrets.

How far would you go to find yourself?

ASLEIGH'S REVIEW

Sometimes I one click a book without reading the blurb or a single review I just see the cover and click, I did that with The Lonely. At two the next morning with bleary eyeballs and a major book hangover starting I finished it and immediately one clicked the next book Lost Boy. It was that good. I gave it a very well deserved five star rating and would have give it more if there were more than that.
Tara Brown goes there in this one, the characters are so real you feel every emotion that they do. Emalyn’s OCD is a prize example I found myself wanting to reach for the hand sanitizer a few times. Emalyn has just started college with her only friend, before this she was an orphan, living in a Catholic orphanage run by nuns. The insane sterile conditions and strict routine of the orphanage gave birth to her severe OCD. Having left that behind she is now a college student striving to just be normal, only she has a benefactor who pays her tuition and all her expenses. She has never met him or heard his voice he contacts her only by text on the phone he provided her. The conditions of his generosity, never ever switch the phone off. The other Stuart his driver takes her everywhere she needs to go.
As hard as she tries to be normal, at night The Lonely still comes for her with its blue eyes. Her memories of before the orphanage are buried so deep she may never find them. She knows they are so bad that its better if she doesn't.
In her pursuit of normal she starts to date the very handsome Sebastian, allowing herself to believe she could fall for him and be normal again. Only he wants to keep her broken so he can be her saviour. The thing is she already has a saviour she doesn't know who he is our how far he will go to save her.
Emalyn’s struggle is an internal war she doesn't even know she is waging. Her benefactor may be more than even she can deal with. He has just as many secrets as she does.
I could not put this book down until it was done. I held my breath, laughed cried and flat out wanted to kill someone a few times too.
This was a dark, twisted sexy tale of self preservation, survival and unconditional love for another. If you love a good dark story this is for you.

BOOK BLURB
Cancel the wedding–the groom is dead. When a tycoon’s son is murdered the night before his wedding, the enraged and grief- stricken father offers investigator Dan Reno (that’s Reno, as in no problemo), a life-changing bounty to find the killer. Reno, nearly broke, figures he’s finally landed in the right place at the right time. It’s a nice thought, but when a band of crooked cops get involved, Reno finds himself not only earning every penny of his paycheck, but also fighting for his life. Who committed the murder, and why? And what of the dark sexual deviations that keep surfacing? Haunted by his murdered father and a violent, hard drinking past, Reno wants no more blood on his hands. But a man’s got to make a living, and backing off is not in his DNA. Traversing the snowy alpine winter in the Sierras and the lonely deserts of Nevada, Reno must revert to his old ways to survive. Because the fat bounty won’t do him much good if he’s dead…

MY REVIEW
I was so excited when I was asked to give my honest review for this book. It was a great distraction from all the romance books that I have read in the past little while. I love a great who dun it books. This was a great one.
In this book we meet Dan Reno a private investigator a divorced man and a recovering alcoholic ok let me rephrase that he isn't so much recovering and more an alcoholic. He is attending a wedding and  is offered a big payday by a grief stricken father whose son is murdered the night before his wedding. Reno finally is in the right place to help out. As he works through the case . he is almost killed and really is earning the money . He finds himself in a world of deviants and kinky sex. Whil he keep himself alive to play with that reward money he s making,
This is the first book in the series where we meet Dan and the rest of the cast of characters. I really liked Cody an ex cop and Dan's sidekick to Edward his new friend. There is a lot of drinking and kinky sex going on also. You know the bad guys are going to be really bad and the good guys are good but maybe swayed. The book takes you from Lake Tahoe to Reno. Vegas and through parts of Utah . All very interesting places to visit and or maybe die. The characters are so well written and feel so realistic. You find yourself caring for them as you read and follow them on their journey.
The story is written mostly in the first person. Dan's point of view. The author does that seamlessly there are a couple of spots that it changes but it is part of the story line, The scenes are so well written it almost feels like you standing in the snow in Lake Tahoe or running for your life in Vegas. You find yourself cheering for the good guys and wanting to find out who the murder was .
The story is well written and flowed so well I was engrossed from the very first chapter. I was reading well into the night and I just couldn't put it down. I so wanted to figure out who did it. I couldn't do it, I was so confused but in a good way. I just couldn't figure it out. The conversations are realistic and you can hear the voices in your head as you read.
So if you want a great detective book give this on a chance I know you won' t be disappoint I know I wasn't

ITS VANQUISH DAY TODAY

OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD. Yes I am bouncing up and down in my chair right now as I write this review. Its VANQUISH day on the blog. Today is the day that Pam Godwin's new book is out and this girl couldn't be happier. VANQUISH

BOOK BLURB
***Warning: Graphic sex and violence. Age 18+ only. This is the sequel to Deliver but can be read as a stand-alone. Her life is like a prison cell. A self-made, to-hell-with-the-free-world existence that locks from the inside. Stop judging. Her agoraphobia doesn’t define her. It simply keeps her safe. He belongs in a prison cell. The 6x8, make-me-your-b*tch variety that locks from the outside. But he’s free. To hunt. To take. To break. And he just found a sexy new toy. Capturing her is the easy part. Her f*cked-up mind, however, makes him question everything he does next. But he’s a determined bastard. If all goes his way, this will hurt like hell.

MY REVIEW
Ok here it is OH MY GOD, OH MY GOD. I was so happy and honored to  get an ARC of this book. I was so excited when I cracked open my kindle. I got my bowl of popcorn and my drink and sat down to read. Next thing I knew hubby was coming into the house asking me what was for dinner. My response ummm whatever you want cause I am at a very important part in the book. All I heard from the kitchen at that time was a snort and a grumble as he made burritos and ate the leftover Chinese food in the fridge. He knows not to bother me when I am engrossed in a book like I was with this book. Ok I will now get to the review part of the book and stop talking about the eating habits of the man in my life.
Ok this is Van's book. If you have read deliver, you will remember Van. I hated him in Deliver but that is what a good villain is. You hate him and then he comes back to redeem him. This book is all about Van and his redemption. You find him at the beginning of the book stalking Liv and her new boyfriend. He wanted to find out where his and Liv's daughter was . Well he didn't know that the house he was sitting at was actually occupied by a gorgeous woman that has so many issues of her own . She hasn't left her house and is OCD. Amber is off her rocker, honestly this poor woman you just want to wrap her up and lock her away at the beginning of the book. Van finds her right in the middle of a panic attack as she tried to go outside to get the parcels she needed. He was instantly attracted to her and he wanted to break her and then use her to help with Liv and getting access to his daughter. He first had to break her of the phobias she has. That could be difficult. Well its harder then both of them think.
Lets see what can I say about Van, He is so hot from his grey eyes to his made for sex body. To the alpha, dominance. He is one melt your panties off man. But there is a sadness within him. That we find all about in this book. You just want to take him in your arms and hug him tight an let him know everything will be all right. Then throw him on the bed and have your way with him in every position imaginable. His redemption was so powerful I had the ugly cry. He turns out to be a great guy.
This book had me page turning, I couldn't put it down. Pam takes us to the pits of hell with both the characters. She shows us the cracked broken souls that they have. The hell that made them the way they are now. I love the way the Pam makes you go from love to hate and then back to love. She loves to throw so many twists and turns. YES I ADMIT IT I ugly cried and I mean I really ugly cried.
Not going to give you any spoilers but there are a couple of times that will make you cry cause it is so heart breaking and gut retching, you will want to either throw your kindle across the room or hug it tight. This is the second book to Deliver but it can also stand alone. But if you want really get to know Van I strongly suggest you read Deliver before you read Vanquish cause you will understand more about what motivates Van. If you love dark erotic tales this is the book for you .
this book deserves more then 5 stars you can give it on the sites . Check it out , I promise you that you will enjoy

Good Saturday everyone hope today finds you all well and enjoying your favorite book. Today's book is the new on by N.L Hoffmann it is her second book in the Daughters of Darkness series

BOOK BLURB
U.S. Marshal Jacey Noble has just taken a well-deserved vacation when one of her fugitives ends up murdered. Detective Trent Vinolva is less than enthusiastic to take on a new partner, especially hot-blooded Jacey, who lives to push his buttons. When they encounter a werewolf at the scene, Jacey is thrust into a new world of supernatural beings and high-stakes encounters with no one else to turn to but Trent.

Jacey discovers that she’s a Shadow, one in an order of powerful beings able to manipulate darkness. But Jacey is not just any Shadow. Amidst the whirlwind of discovering her newly activated powers, Jacey must solve the murder while battling sexual tension with Detective Vinolva. Things get interesting when the pair discovers Jacey’s demonic father and her hot tempered sister. Finding herself in a new world, teetering on the brink of supernatural war, Jacey doesn’t know who to trust. She must rely on her own instincts and U.S. Marshal training to separate fact from fiction in her new reality.

With the help of the Supernatural Council and Trent by her side, Jacey attempts to accomplish the impossible: evade the corrupt Shadows on her tail and solve a murder case that becomes increasingly complex, all while transforming into her true self. Will Jacey embrace who she was born to be, or fight against her fate due to her fear of the unknown? Find out in Shadow Cursed.

MY REVIEW
Move over Blake there is a new girl in town and her name is Jacey. She is a US marshal that is due for an overdue vacation. Which she reluctantly takes, but a new case will throw her into a whole new heap of trouble with a werewolf for a partner and finding out she is a shadow. Jacey's whole world spins 360 degrees as she finds out she is a supernatural and hated among most of the supernatural world . Now she has to figure out her role as a shadow and figure out who is murdering people.
With the help of the supernatural council and her hot werewolf partner. And the characters from book one . Blake and Jacey find out they are sisters and Lucifer is their father . Will they survive and will Jacey accept her role in the shadows.
I was so excited when I heard that this book was live. I so loved Blake and everyone from the first book. But the second book takes it a step further. N.L has written a kick ass heroine in Jacey and when paired with Blake they are unstoppable. Then there are the hunks that are well just say along for the ride with the girls. Trent is one hot werewolf and he loves to get under Jacey's skin. They are meant to be together in my eyes and I can't wait to see how they find their way through everything happening. These guys are hot together and I mean very hot. I want some Trent . He made my heart go pitter patter a few times . sigh.  N.L brought back the cast of characters from book one and I was happy to see also. Eli and Blake are still hot and heavy. Lucifer is still as crazy as he was in the first book.
N.L as written a great second book. She will take you on a rollercoaster as you read. Trust me there are some twists that you would never see coming and you will laugh hard at some of the scenes with Lucifer. She paints such a fun picture of Lucifer and boy he is really crazy. I love him and his craziness. You will be thrown into a steamy and hot story along with a murder mystery. With a touch of fantasy . The shadow story line is a new one for me. I mean we have all read the vampire and werewolf stories. But the shadows are totally different. They are a cool new concept for me. They are like the keepers of the peace. I can't wait till she writes more about the shadows. The author does keep you entertained all the way through and you will laugh and laugh. Trust me just don't drink anything while reading any scenes with Lucifer. You could end up snorting tea through your nose . Yes I do admit I did a couple of times. This book will also induce a very bad book hangover cause you stayed up late and read all night. So I will warn you now. Read late at night at your own risk cause once you start you will not put down until you are done.

BOOK BLURB
Forever is a heartbeat away . . .
Kerris Moreton knows how to make things work. Bounced from foster home to foster home as a kid, she adapted; when opportunity arose, she thrived. Now, about to open her own business and accept a marriage proposal, Kerris is ready to build the life she's always wanted. The only thing missing? A passionate connection with her would-be fiancé, Cam. Kerris wants to believe that sparks are overrated-until Walsh Bennett lights her up like the Fourth of July.

. . . but what about love?

As one of the East Coast's most eligible bachelors, Walsh enjoys financial independence, fulfilling work with his family's nonprofit, and plenty of female attention. But lately he's been distracted by the one woman he can't have. Lovely to look at and even sweeter to know, Kerris is the soul mate Walsh never thought he would find. The problem is, his best friend found her first . . .

KAREN'S REVIEW

Conflicted love is hard to convey but Kennedy Ryan – you have the Midas touch. I started reading this book before dinner time and I can’t even remember what the kid’s had food wise (don’t judge me) because I had to know what happened.

I will admit pleading to the kindle, praying for lead heroine Kerris, ‘don’t do it!!!!!’ and then sighing when she did it. There was quite a bit of sighing coming forward for Walsh.

Like all love triangles, someone’s gonna get hurt. Emotional and unrelenting, this debut novel is one that keeps the punches coming. Just when you think these characters can’t take any more – BAM! – another sucker to the senses. I haven’t read a book in a long time where I can side and sympathise with the three main characters – usually pulling for one side while slagging off the other. This book has me conflicted. Conflicted on my own moral code and for the characters.
I would highly recommend to anyone.  Author Ryan says a lot of ground will be covered in book two, well come on October 2!
KAREN GIVES THIS A 5 OUT OF 5 STARS
this one is going on my TBR LIST ,

Explore Jessica Aspen's new world of contemporary, new adult, Gothic romance with her new series of short paranormals: Haunted Holidays.

MY REVIEW
I fell in love with Jessica Aspen when I found her first book in the TALES OF THE BLACK COURT TALES. Since then I have well lets just say kind a stalked around Jessica's page and grabbed her new releases up. I loved her paranormal stories so when I saw that she started a new world of new adult romance with a mix of paranormal. I was intrigued. I knew she could write about fairies and twisted fairy tales. Now I was excited when I got this book. As I read the blurb I went ooooh this could be good it takes us back to a past life and a ghost story. I love a good ghost story and I love a good romance. So combining them is the cats meow for this girl
As  I started reading I met Jen Mcnamera a girl running away from a wedding of her best friend and her ex boyfriend and an overbearing mom. Just wanting time alone. She comes to the farmhouse that Nate is renting to her. Oh Nate is hot and so damaged from a past relationship. All he wants at the beginning is to rent out the farmhouse to pay his brothers off and maybe have a holiday lay.
As the story progresses poor Jen is terrorized by a ghost and Nate and her have to work together to get to the bottom of the reason of the haunting. As they work together they realize that they are growing closer and realizing that they are great together. But will they survive the ghost and the past to claim their future
For a first book in the contemporary romance , Jessica hit it out of the park. She takes a ghost story an mixes in a love story that goes from the past to the present. The story flowed flawlessly between the past and the present. There were some really steamy scenes also. Both in the past and the present.
Jessica's characters are always well written and it is true about these characters. Even the ghost is well written and oh boy she is evil and selfish. You can see the characters evolve and grow with each turn of the page. Even though this is a ghost story it is also a love story between two people and you can feel the love story coming through.
This was a sexy page turning novella which will take you into the past to help understand the present. So if you want to read a suspenseful sexy story that has a terrifying ghost and a hot and sexy couple check out Jessica's new book .  I give it a five star rating  and I want you to add it to your reading list today

MY REVIEW
I have been waiting for this book since Pepper told us she was writing it. I stalked her page daily for any information on this mysterious man named Jethro Hawk. Pepper described him as evil pure evil.
So when I started this book I was like ok bring on the hot Alpha man, but let me tell you I wasn't expecting such a cold man. Lets just say that Jethro make other alpha males like Christian Grey and others look like bumbling teenagers. He is cold hearted and so much in control. He will drive you crazy you will either want to slap him or throw him on the bed tie him up and do what ever you want to him. He is just as my friend Ashleigh said he is evil hotness and you just can't get enough, Of course we will love to hate him, like all bad ass characters. Nila is an overprotected, overworked shy woman with very little experience that we all know Jethro will use to his advantage in getting her to break.
Pepper is the queen of Dark erotic tales . She will take you to the pits of hell and rip your heart out. Trust me you will need a box of Kleenex when you read her books. The twists and turns will take you to the ends of the earth and back. Her characters are so dark and so well written, you so want to slap a few of them and hug the others. When you think you can't go any darker Pepper comes up with a scene like the dining room scene where everyone gets to basically meet her and taste her. That one shocked me a I read it . I mean I could feel her humiliation and the realization that she has to do this to get info on why she is there. There is a big cliff hanger at the end of the book and trust me it will leave you with a bunch of questions. Trust me I had a few like who the hell is Daniel and is he crazy or just jealous of Jethro and will  Nila ever find out exactly what happened a long time ago
I can't wait for the second installment. I want to find out what happens. So if you want a great dark story that will take to the depths of hell and back. Check out DEBT INHERITANCE . Trust me you will not be disappointed at all

RELEASE DAY FOR ATHENA'S ORACLE BY J.D BROWN

Good Monday everyone hope you had a great weekend. Ours wasn't so well broken equipment and so on.It did give plenty of time for reading between thunderstorms and I was honored to read ATHENA'S ORACLE by J.D BROWN

BOOK BLURB
Her love was doomed from the start...

Leena’s ‘gift of sight’ secures her place as the next great oracle of Athena. Instead of being groomed for wifehood like other girls, Leena spends her days within the walls of the Acropolis, shuffled around by the clergy and doomed to be a virgin forever. Before her ascension, Leena decides to take matters into her own hands. With the help of her father’s book of alchemy, she casts an incantation calling forth her own personal hero. But when that hero turns out to be a rogue vampyre prince with a haunted past, Leena begins to question if her feelings for him are the work of divine intervention, or a love spell gone horribly wrong.

Athena’s Oracle is a prequel to the novels Dark Heirloom and Dark Liaison, also by J.D. Brown. Set in 4th century B.C.E., Athena’s Oracle chronicles the romance between Leena and Jalmari during the very early trials of their immortal lives.

All books by J.D. Brown:

Dark Heirloom (book 1)
Dark Liaison (book 2)
Athena's Oracle (prequel)
Dark Becoming (book 3 - available 2015)
Dark Ascension (book 4 - TBA)

MY REVIEW
I was so excited when J.D announced that she was going to write Jalmari and Leena's story. She started the book out as a web only book. We got one chapter a month. Which kind a drove me insane cause I will admit to no one but I was invested in all the characters in the DARK HEIRLOOM series. Yeah I know you are all shaking your heads but fur us avid book junkies being invested is a good thing. So I knew that I wanted to get to know Jalmari more cause he intrigued me to no end. He was so evil but deep down inside you knew he had to care for someone. That one person was Leena the little oracle was doomed to be be shuffled off between the clergy and was doomed to stay a virgin until she died. Well Leena being Leena took matters into her own hands and used a spell to call her own personal hero. Not know that he was going to be a vampyre. They are so different but so similar . They are a very unlikely couple but they work so well together. Jalmari is so intense and Leena makes him think of some other then himself and his crazy ass father that is taking up space n his head.
I loved this book J.D takes to a place where you want to hate but you fall in love all of her characters. Even when they are evil you still want to help redeem them. Dang her she made me like Jalmari. Trust me if you read the other books you will not really like Jalmari. Trust me I really wanted to stake him a few times. This book shows us the softer sweeter side of the characters. The more innocent times . They act like any other young couple finding their way to each other.  There is a love story among the wanting of the spell to help him out.
J.D will transport you back to Ancient Greece in this book, You can feel the atmosphere and the sounds of Greece as you read. The tale is bittersweet and even though I read the other books and knew what was in the future for this couple. I devoured every single page of this book. J,D writes with such intensity, you feel the characters and the agony and the elation that they have.
I would suggest you read this book first and dive into Dark Heirloom so you can understand a little more about what makes Jalmari tick in book.
I SUGGEST THAT YOU READ THIS BOOK CAUSE I PROMISE YOU , YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED AT ALL

HAPPY THURSDAY ALL

Today we have a guest reviewer and I know I am going to screw up spelling here name but I will try my best Karen Mandeville-Steer and she review Conklin's BluePrints by Brooke Page

Not wanting anyone to know about his slight obsession with her, their potential relationship must be kept a secret. Will Becca put up with Tyler’s untold story for long? Will she tolerate being his secret?
KAREN'S REVIEW

Conklin's Blueprints, by new author Brooke Page, is the first book in Conklin's Trilogy. It is a real novel about an amazing love story that does not put you in a land of make believe. I was glued to the book from the first word. I finished in less than two days. It is an amazing story with hot love scenes. Tyler Conklin is every thing a lady wants in a man. Once again, my list of book boyfriends has grown!

Wow... This book is from a new author AND this is her first ever book. REALLY? I'm stunned, amazed and in awe. Brooke Page has amazing talent and I predict she will go far with her writing career. I don't usually read plain vanilla romances because they are just fairy tales and I stopped believing in those a long time ago. Conklin's Blueprints was a definite exception. This book has believable REAL characters. Yes, they have scars and they have issues and baggage, but even those are real and believable. I immediately related to Becca, the female lead. I felt as if I could actually be her. I wish I was her!

This is the beginning of a great love story that is not easily forgettable. Better yet, it's also a story of two people coming together due to a chance meeting and then beginning the process of helping one another heal. I fell in love with the two main characters. There are other characters I either loved, hated or felt sorry for. I yelled at time. I cried at times. I laughed at times. Then toward the end, I cheered out loud so much that my family thought I was crazy! That's how much I got involved in the story. I felt as though I was in it with the characters as a friend. I wanted to hug Brooke for courage. But enough! You'll have to find out all of this yourself by one clicking now!
The characters and plot are well developed and the plot moves smoothly. The dialogue is flawless. I was unable to put this book this down and read it in one sitting. Despite being part of a series, the book is written as a full novel rather than the ever popular novella that is so frustrating to me. After completing this book, I immediately one clicked the second book in the series, as I was not yet ready to leave Tyler and Becca. There is no cliffhanger but rather more to experience. I highly recommend this book...

HAPPY TUESDAY ALL

Happy Tuesday all today's review is the sixth installment of the night shade cases TRY DYING  by Patti Larsen

BOOK BLURB
Kinsey has the worst taste in men, at least according to Gerri. Especially when the charming, handsome guy she falls for happens to be a con artist and criminal who just can’t seem to stay dead…

Welcome to The Nightshade Case, a series of twenty-one murder mysteries. Please note: this episodic series is based on the television show model, with screenwriting notations and shorter formats. There will be a complete mystery each release, with cliffhangers only occurring in the full season story line.

MY REVIEW
This installment had me giggling all the way through between Kinsey having the hots for a man that just won't die and the odd attraction that Gerri is having for agent Quinlan Foster. These ladies just don't know what hit them. This time Kinsey takes more of a center stage and is lusting after a con artist that just won't die. Then the odd things happening to Gerri and the odd attraction to Quinlan, she doesn't know if she wants to jump his bones or run away from him. There is an overabundance of bad guys and weird stuff going on. The girls are getting into the weird more and more with each episode and I am loving it/
Patti just keeps getting better and better with each episode. The twists and turns are coming fast , one minute you think you have it figured out and boom Patti throws the twist that sends you in a totally different direction. I still haven't tried to figure it out, I am just loving every episode. I so can't wait for episode 7, yes I admit it I am addicted to this story and the way it is written. Patti just has a way with words and her characters are so lifelike  and you just want to cheer for them, You want the girls to find out what they really are and soon.
So if you like cop shows like Rizzoli and Isles Major Crimes and Castle , this books will be for you so check them out . I know you won't be disappointed

good morning all

Today we are helping out and blitzing INCANDESCENT by River Savage.

SYNOPSIS

Phoenix ‘Nix’ Knight thought pulling his club out of the illegal shit his Pops got them into was difficult.

Until he meets Kadence.

Kadence Turner has no business lusting over a student’s father, especially the president of the Knights Rebels MC. Nix is crass, obnoxious and dangerously sexy and for some reason, Kadence can’t seem to hate him for it. The bossy biker breaks down her defenses, but unlike the old Kadence, the woman she is today won’t give in without a fight.
The tension is undeniable, the attraction fierce. A man that wants what he wants and a woman that will fight him every step of the way.
EXCEPT FROM THE BOOK

Resting the cold beer between my legs to soothe the ache, the boys give me shit for striking out. I feel the same way: the woman is a tough nut to crack.
“You ready for round two, Prez?” Beau smirks behind his beer. Turning my head, I watch as Kadence storms over. I groan as my broken dick comes to life, apparently not caught up with the news that she doesn’t like him. She stands at the end of the table, arms crossed over her chest, unaware that her position puts her sexy tits up on display.
Fuck, this woman is a tease.
“Hey, sweetheart,” I say before taking a sip of my beer.
“Don’t sweetheart me. What did you say to my date?” she snaps, anger clear on her face, and I’ve never seen a more beautiful look on her. Her eyes blaze with fire and the need to push her more fills me. I can’t wait to have her under me.
“Oh, the stiff?” I ask nonchalantly. “Just told him to run along; he didn't have what it takes to play with the big boys,” I say as some of the brothers laugh into their drinks.
I’ve never pushed a woman this far before; chasing her and teasing her feels so damn good. Something about her pushes my buttons and leaves me wanting more. Most women fall at my feet begging to get in, but Kadence? No, this woman makes me want to do the begging. I’ve never wanted to fuck a woman so hard while spanking her ass at the same time. The way she reacts to me makes my dick hard and God help me, getting her riled up is a sight to see. I can see it in her eyes; she’s fighting it. She wants me and I intend to give the lady what she wants.
“What do you want, Phoenix?” she demands, uncrossing her arms and assuming a relaxed position, but I’m not stupid. The woman is crazy mad and I’ve got a throbbing dick to prove it.
“What do I want?” I repeat her question, pausing to take another pull on my beer. “Well, after your little stunt in the bathroom, I wanna pull you down on this table and spank your ass,” I tell her calmly. Even though my balls are aching, my cock is pulsing.
“You disgust me,” she hisses and turns to walk away. I grab onto her hand, turning her my way. She tries to pull out of my grasp, but my hold on her is strong.
“You don’t mean that. I’ve seen the way your eyes flash. You would love for me to spank that sexy ass right here for everyone to see. Wouldn’t you?” Embarrassment floods her cheeks, and for a beat, I think I might have pushed her too far.
