                   MY REVIEW 

 Greyson Till is the master gunner of pirate ship a fabled pirate ship . He has as impressive collection of weapons. So when a sword a legendary sword goes missing he is intrigued . He has to work with Aura Henderson who really doesn't want to be working with the immortal pirate. So posing as a married couple they are off to Scotland to track down the sword . Will they be able to find the sword and come out of the adventure with their hearts and lives intact. 

 Ok Greyson and Aura have to be my favourite couple in this series . Greyson well he is a mans man, he loves anything that involves weapons. He is pirate through and through , sexy and an alpha in a way that will make you want to fan yourself . Deep down in his heart though he is missing something in his life . He has demons he is fighting and deep down all he wants is love and to be loved . Aura is a tough as nails ex police officer who is working for department 13 and she is one sassy lady but deep down she is hurting from a past that is still haunting her today. They are such good characters and you will love them . They are well written and complex . 

 

  This is book has it all , brooding pirates , sassy detective, and yes demons . The characters are very well written and complex and you will absolutely fall in love with . The author writes such fun characters that get into some trouble and will break your heart and then repair it . This is a book that you can read in an evening by the campfire or by the pool . It is a fun sexy read that will have you turning pages . I think you have to read the series in order to have the full effect of what goes on but it is a fun series to read and you will love all the characters . So check it out .

                   MY REVIEW 

    Saige is a very timid young woman who is tired of living in the hoarding mess of her parents . She wants to find her own way out . When Callan comes into town she is smitten by his shy way and goes on a date with him. She finds her way out of her life with the mountain man who takes her home and he changes for the worst . He is abusive and just not the loving man who Saige thinks he is . Flynn , Callan's son is in the same situation . He is been through so much with his dad all the abuse is finally getting to Flynn and he wants out but now he is going to be the one to help save her and maybe they can be together . Two people who find each other in the worst possible time will they be able to heal each other and find the love that they both deserve. 

Ok this book broke my heart in so many ways. The characters alone made me want to just hug them and wrap a blanket around them and say everything is going to be ok . Saige is a sweet girl who it seems didn't have a great life from the beginning . Her parents were not the best so Saige hid within herself . She is timid and just wants to be loved by someone well anyone that could take her away from her situation . Callan well he is very manipulative and well mean . He treats Saige as a maid and his own sexual slave . He does nothing but degrade and belittle both her and Flynn. There is no redeeming qualities in this man at all . Flynn is a sweet young man who is in turmoil from the promise he made to his mother before she died. He can become the man that Saige needs when he takes on the responsibility of taking care of Saige. Together you see Saige and Flynn grow stronger through out the book and become what they needed to be for each other . 

  This is the second book in the series and I must say it is the most emotional book in the series . I have never cried so much through out this book . The author paints such a picture in the wilds of Alaska with characters that are so well written and complex . I read this book in an evening and couldn't put it down. I got invested in Saige and Flynn from the moment I met them in the book . They are such broken people and watching them rebuild the trust that they need was so sweet. There are so many parts of this book that totally just broke my heart . I shed so many tears for Saige and Flynn. Like any good author , she repaired the broken parts of my heart . There are scenes of physical and mental abuse in this book and some forced sex but over all this is a love story between two broken people . So if you want a dark story that will break you and repair you check it out this series . You will not be disappointed .

GOOD SATURDAY ALL

                       MY REVIEW 

 After Peyton and Trina played with the Ouija Board  things start to go strange . The entity starts to drain Drake's strength. They have to find out what is going on and get the entity out of the house . The entity is taking on the characteristics of a hundred year old murderer the Axeman . Who terrorized  New Orleans . Ryan is trying to help but there is only so much he can do well cause he is alive . Will everything work out or will Ryan and Peyton's relationship be on hold indefinitely.

  Peyton and the gang are back and honestly funnier then ever . Peyton is trying hard to keep Drake from peeking in on her relationship with Ryan and also to keep everyone safe. She is sassy and ready for a fight You really get to see Peyton's flirty fun side when she is with Drake We also get to see her soft romantic side with Ryan . Drake is well he is still as cocky as ever and oh so sexy too . He is slowly loosing himself . Then there is Ryan the sweetest guy ever , he is tall and just sexy with a lopsided grin. We also get to meet some voodoo priests who add so much fun to the story. 

Ok this is book two and I must say the authors packed a lot into this story . There is romance . voodoos . dark magic and lots of laugher . The author seems to have such fun writing this  book.  i read this while at the pool in an afternoon . I have never giggled so much in my life . The characters are so well written and complex . The author has created a great universe where you get sucked in by the end of chapter one . This series would be great for your summer reading list . 

book3 MISCHIEF BREWING

With the help of my friends (and a little voodoo), I learn that the demonic spirit of the Axeman may still be dwelling in my house. Thanks a lot, realtor.com!

                    MY REVIEW 

  Poor Peyton what has she gotten herself into , agreeing to let Drake share her body . Drake maybe dead but his longings don't get my Peyton at all . Now she has to figure out a way to come clean and tell her sweet boyfriend Ryan and tell him about the ghost now sharing her body. Not only that but she has to figure out if the Axeman is still residing in her house . With help of Lovie and some voodoo . Peyton will get to the bottom of the Axe man and maybe stop the end of the world. 

  This episode has so much going on, we have voodoo and there is romance and possession . The characters are just getting better and better . Peyton is one tough lady who will do anything for those who love her and she loves. We get to see a lot more of Drake in this book . He is oh so dreamy and such a card through out the book . There are some really strong emotions through out the book . 

   This is the third installment in the series .I think this one is my favourite book in the series . We get to see more of Drake and how he was back in the day. The book is full of snarkiness and sass . You will laugh at some of the things Drake does and says through out the book . I truly love this series so much You will love this series from the first page . Check it out you will love to read this series on your pool day

book 4 BUMP IN THE NIGHT

                     MY REVIEW

 We are back and heading into the past to stop the Axe man Peyton has to man up and head back to the voodoo priestess shack to go back and make sure the world doesn't come to an end with the Axe man coming to finally finish the job of killing her . She has to come to terms with her feelings for Drake and Ryan as she fights the Axe man . Drake with his sexy accent and his killer body that could distract a blind woman . She must over come the entity and come back to her world before the world ends . 

  This episode is one of action and there is some romance through out the story . Drake is so suave and debonair in this book . You really just want to climb him . Peyton goes through so much this time around . We see her fight hard for what she wants . There are moments in this story that you are on the edge of your seat and yes there is a cliff hanger at the end of this one but the next book will be coming out fast . I am really loving these books and the characters . Peyton is one tough cookie and knows what she wants and Ryan is the sweet boyfriend at her side the whole time . Drake well he is Drake and I love him . So check it out if you want a fun summer read check out the series

  Delilah and het two boys have moved in next door. She is trying to get her life back together after a divorce . Her ex well doesn't want to be around. She is trying to keep two young boys happy and busy . When the boy next door shows up all wet and oh so sexy and sparks a fire in Delilah that can't be denied but what would people think she is twice his age . But those eyes every time he looks at her she melts . Will they be able to over come her insecurities and find the happiness . 

  Ok this is the first book I have read from this author and I must say she can build a complex set of characters . Delilah is a very insecure woman who has been through so much. She is a sweet woman but she has been well beaten down by an ex and that has played havoc on her self esteem. She doesn't think she is worth anything to anyone . But as you watch her start to blossom with Ethan.  The insecurities still bounce back though through out the book . Ethan well he is kinda cocky with a sweet side and my he is oh so sexy . Like most heroes we read there is more to him then just his cockiness . There is a sweet caring man who just wants to be the one for that one girl. He is great with kids and loves to help them out.  He turns out to be more of a man then most men twice their age . They do make a cute couple and when they finally get together its holy hotness . 

  This is one of those books where you sit down and start reading and don't put down. I found myself  getting invested in the characters . There is a bit of Delilah in all of us and we all kind of want a man like Ethan to come in and be the one for us . The author builds a great universe for these characters . We all feel for both characters . I think we all have had some of the insecurities that Delilah feels . The story starts off slowly sometimes a little bit too slow for me at times . But once it takes off it really takes off and you are sucked in big time and boy you are in for a treat .  There is a cliff hanger but I can't wait to see where the story goes from here. So if you want a younger man older woman story with some hotness . Check it out , trust me you will want to lick water off of Ethan's abs . Add this heat to your summer reading

                      MY REVIEW 

  Oceane is a sweet girl who at the the time is having a crisis should she become a doctor or should she be an artist . When she is sent to live with uncle and when she decides to finish her doctor's degree . She starts working at the local hospital as she studies at the Sorbonne medical school . Until the day her life is turned upside down and a man who will steal her heart walks in and a war starts .  Oceane is swept up in the resistance and what she can do to find her love .Jean-Jacques has been taken by the Nazis. She is swept into the Nazi world by becoming Dieter Von Stein 's personal doctor and trying to find out where JJ is . With Dieter's plans are different and tease Oceane with little tidbits about JJ. Oceane needs to escape and get back to her family but will she be able to get out and back to France or will she get swallowed up in the resistance . 

  This is a story that has it all intrigue , romance and danger . The characters are so well written and complex . Oceane is a young woman who at the beginning is a naive student trying to figure out her life. Boy does she grow up fast through the book we see her become a very strong woman. She is passionate and very strong willed when it comes to her family and JJ . She truly grew up fast . JJ is an artist who is more then just an artist , he is a passionate man who loves with his whole heart . He opens up a world of passion in Oceane and helps her grow. There are so many characters that come into Oceane's life that help her through the wages of the occupation . 

  This is a book that once you start you can't stop . I was totally engrossed and was turning pages well into the night . The author has a writing style that takes you to the edge of your seat and keeps you there .  Her characters are so well written and complex and they grow through out the book . The story is well thought out and really thought provoking . You will get transported back and be right in the action . I am usually not really into historical fiction but this author changed my mind . I truly enjoyed this story and can't wait to read other books from this author. So if you want a good historical romance check it out .

Of course, just when I thought I’d solved the problem by removing Anastasia from the equation, life—or rather, the pain in my backside, Satan—throws me back into her path.

Behemoth is darkening Anastasia’s Dominion, and I’m going to need the Vampyre princess if I want to take him out.

Two birds. One stone. Right?

Kill Behemoth. Spend time with the woman I want, but I can’t have.

Win-win. Kind of.

                    MY REVIEW

 Anastasia is on the hunt , she has just been dumped by her mate , Levi . Just cause she is a vampyre princess and he is a demon . All he wants to do is get back to hell and home . But Satan has other plans for Levi and that is to kill Behemoth and to do that he has to be with his mate and the vampyre he just dumped . So what is a man to do . suck it up and help out his vampyre and hopefully find the love that they have .

Ok I thought ok book fifteen what is the author going to do now . Well she did it she took two new characters and threw them together and see what sticks . Well what stuck is two new fun characters that will have you laughing your socks off . Princess Anastasia and Levi . Anastasia is one caring and violent vampyre who is best friends with Astrid and Ethan's sister . She is sweet but also can rip your head off when push comes to shove . Levi well he is a cad at the start but he is also hurting and feeling like he doesn't deserve love from anyone for what he has done in the past. Together they are so much fun to read . With their motley crew which are hilarious characters . Paris Hilton is one of those characters that will have you laughing so hard at her antics . 

  This is a fun book to read , the author has a in your face laugh out loud kind of writing style that will have you holding your sides from laughing . The characters are well written and have some great one liners . There is just a little thing , I felt that this book just wasn't as involved as the rest of her books . I felt it went just a little too fast for me . Over all I loved this book and loved the series . Can't wait to see where the author goes from here . Check it out and add it to your summer reading list .

   Peyton has just bought her own piece of New Orleans's history a big beautiful ante bellum house in the Garden District.  Well she got more then she bargained for when she moved in . She starts to vivid dreams about a young police officer and that with touches from ghostly hand and kisses coming from nowhere all from the debonair French police officer . Wait theres is more to the story Peyton is also starting to fall for her handsome contractor Ryan Kelly well who is very much alive . Wait it gets better Peyton has two suitors and a mystery how the dashing police officer died over a century ago, 

  I really love these characters . Peyton is a sweet woman who has been through a divorce and starting her life over again. She is as tough as nails when she needs to be but also knows when to get help when she needs . Ryan well he is a guys guy who has a heart of gold and will do almost anything for a friend or girlfriend . Even chase ghosts and help her fix up her house . He is like the best boyfriend material out there reliable , sweet and kind.  Drake well he is a manly man who is debonair and suave , man he is suave . He is like the hero in every romance book you read . Too bad he has to be a ghost.  They are such fun characters to read and you will love them . 

   This is a rebranding of a series that I have not read by this author. I am so glad I finally started this series . I am liking the rebranding of it . The authors have a way of writing that will make you fall of the chair cause you are laughing so hard . There are moments that I really snorted hard while reading. I will admit it did take me a couple of chapters to get into the story but once I did I was a goner . So if you want a fun, snarky laugh out loud book check this out and add it to you summer reading list

He is caught between two worlds the world he never wanted to begin with and the world that he is protecting his family .    Omg I was so excited to jump back into this family . The characters are so well written and complex. This is Ronan's story and wow I must say that out of all three books this one is my favourite. Ronan is so complex , he is sexy and oh so off limits . But man he is turmoil , he is caught between family and the world he doesn't want to be in. Trust me if he was my priest I would show up to church more often . Just call him Sir Dreamy . We also get to see a more present Ciaran , he is still closed off and keeping secrets but we do get to see him try more to be there for Brigid and Savanna . He is also holding on to the biggest secret that will change him and his brothers lives forever . There is someone we get to meet in this book that will forever change the boys, I am not going to tell you who but when you read you will be crying hard. This character will actually redeem the boys in so many ways . 

  Ok I devoured this book in one night , I was so excited to finally get Ronan's book in my hands. i love the writing style of this author , she really knows how to take her characters and put them through the wringer and bring them out the other side . The story is complex and the characters are well written . I must say that the author redeemed all the characters in this book and you actually get to like them a little bit more . They aren't that bad after all . So if you want a hot series that will have you laughing , crying and fanning yourself this is the series for you. Check it out and add it to your summer reading list .

  Louisa Jones is about to turn 40 and what a 40 its going to be . She has been seeing shadows and when she finds out she is a Keeper and is going to be working for the Angel of Death . Well what a way to start a new phase in her life by chasing ghosts and taking them into the light. This is not the way she wanted to celebrate her birthday. With the help of a hunky keeper Cade she is about to embark on a mission to keep souls safe from reapers and figure out how she is going to navigate this new life . 

 I love these characters, they are well written an complex . We get to meet Louisa and Cade . Louisa is a snarky fabulous woman over 40 . She has some great one liners and isn't afraid to use them . She comes into being a keeper and takes it in stride. She is a fabulous woman that people like to get to know . Cade well he is strong, sexy and oh so commanding in so many ways . But he also has a sweet side that shows up when working with Louisa . Angelica is the angel of death and has a cooperate job and loves pencils skirts and stilettos and can be harsh at times .Deep down she is quite the woman . Rani is the Grim Reaper and hates to be called a Grim and sister to Angelica they are so fun to read together . Just like any sisters they fight and make up . There are so many other characters in this book that are all apart of Louisa's clan . They are all so well written and you will love them all . 

  Finally a series of books for us woman that 40 and over which are well written and full of sassy heroine and the friends that support her .The author takes us on a fun filled adventure ride . There are moments that will make you laugh so hard you snort and moments where you will have a few tears escaping . This is a book you can snuggle down with and read in an evening . Oh don't forget to have a nice glass of wine to drink as you read . Be prepared to laugh out loud and care for these characters like they were your family . I can't wait to get book 2 and see where the author takes us with the characters . I really want to see some smexy time for Cade and Louisa in book 2 . So if you want a fun book check it out . It would be a great summer read for the beach.

                    MY REVIEW 

 Wanda and the guys are back in a whole new adventure . Lorcan and Wanda are still trying to find the spell that will reverse the vampire kiss .  They are working hard but Lorcan is getting flack from the head vampire of his line . Change her or kill her which Wanda doesn't really want . Either way she is screwed . When a new man walks into her life and flips it upside down. Dev is well he is sex on a stick and is starting to confuse Wanda to the point of she doesn't know what is real or dream anymore . Will she be able to figure out what Dev is up to before it is too late . 

   In book three we get to see more of Lorcan and Wanda's relationship .Lorcan is well head over heels for Wanda and will do almost anything for her . Even try and break the bond that they have . Wanda in this book seems to be not herself . Usually she is sassy and quick witted .This one she just seems sluggish and not quite herself . Towards the end she gets back her snarky attitude back . Oh then we get to meet Dev well he is just sex on a stick and he has a wicked streak that runs through him , We don't really get to see what he is really like . He reminds me of a smooth talker that wants his way for everything .  We also get to see Poppy and the gang back helping her figure out what is going on. I love these characters so much and with each book they grow and become more complex . 

    Ok I am just going to say this now before I start gushing . I absolutely love the Haven Hollow series . The characters are so complex and well written . I get a little excited when I see there are new books that are out . I grab a cup of tea and curl up and read . The story is always a fun escaped and you can read them in an evening . This duo create such a vivid universe and the characters grow with each and every book. This would be a great pool read for this summer . Check out the series you will not be disappointed

It was not hard to hear the entrance, which came with a slight swish to it. I raised my head to greet my first adult education student.

She stood just in from the door: a person—a woman—a person, unlike any person I had ever seen or, indeed, have ever seen since, for she was radiant. Radiant—a not unusual adjective and often a metaphor—but at that moment, as she stood there, and as I possibly held my breath, the word was an utterly accurate adjective that was just barely a metaphor."

Thus begins a very odd love story.

Adolphus. Lavinia. Eugene. Peggy. Who loves who?

Love rejected. Love ignored. Love found and pizza 

 EXCERPT 

As she stood in the classroom musing on where to sit, I, not perceivably, I hope but certainly shamelessly, mused upon her. She was about five-foot-five, but this was a guess as she stood in elegant high heels. She wore a dress. A dress! Not blue jeans and a tee-shirt, not fatigues from an Army Surplus store, not anything gangsta-rappers or hip-hopish. Nothing rock n’ roll, nothing punk, nothing anti-establishment, nothing that thumbed its nose at convention while, of course, being within her generation entirely conventional. But a dress, a full dress with a billowing skirt, a wide belt that cinched the waist, and a top featuring a v-neck opening and an extended collar upturned in the back. It was white with a pattern of the repeated image of blue flowers—irises, I think. Yet it was subtle, not overdone. She wore a string of blue beads around her neck, set off by the ivory-like skin of her exposed upper chest. She was made-up, but subtly so, with lipstick of a color somewhere between pink and red. She was blonde, and somehow I knew it was natural, although it was not a subject I had ever thought about before in my life: women’s hair color and what was natural and what wasn’t and why what was natural had become unnatural. Her hair fell down onto her shoulders, not chaotically and yet not seemingly styled. But there was still body to it, and even a bit of a wave. She was pretty. And yet she wasn’t. At least not conventionally so. No button nose, no high cheekbones, no well-shaped mouth, all those things that made a face of parts become a whole perfect face. She was striking. Her eyes, which were, I believe, gray, just—I cannot, for the life of me, think of any other word—her eyes just beamed. And she smiled with an irregularly wide mouth, exposing upper teeth that were irregularly long, giving it a somewhat goofy aspect. And yet it was a most pleasant smile to view, a fun smile if that makes sense. Her nose was just a little bit too large, but it did not distract; it was, oddly, attractive. So even though a young blonde of youth and radiance, wearing a dress a gust of wind could blow up, she was no Marilyn Monroe. Especially given the fact that she was thin bordering on skinny with legs that seemed almost like sticks protruding out from the billow of her dress. And she certainly didn’t have the smoldering sexuality of Marilyn. If there was any blonde goddess filmic allusion in her presence at all, it would have been Grace Kelly. Not because of how that star looked and was presented in, say, Rear Window or To Catch a Thief—but because she was the most aptly named woman in all of History.

“Anywhere?”

“I don’t think we need to assign seats in adult education.”

After looking around, she picked a chair three rows back and to my left.
