ITS 20 DAYS TILL CHRISTMAS

Good morning my peeps we have 20 days till Christmas and I have a book for your Christmas giving ideas .

                                           BOOK BLURB

It is almost Christmas and yards glow with twinkling lights.
But more than chestnuts are roasting.
A raging fire sweeps through the decorated landscape of Sled Run, destroying the home of Chief Deputy Oren Rosenberg and killing two.
An accident? Or did something toxic fuel the flames?
Sheriff Piper Blackwell and Detective Basil Meredith believe Oren was targeted and are tasked with finding motive and means before more than the holiday burns bright.
With many clues reduced to ashes, can Piper and Basil catch the culprits before they strike again? Or is this blaze just the start of the most murder-filled time of the year?

EXCERPT
“Looks like the fire started here, Sheriff, back of the house, right outside the kitchen window. See? Next to the AC unit.” He paused. “What used to be the AC unit.” The man wore navy blue pants, creased, tucked into leather boots that had thick soles and obvious steel toes. Sporting a mud-brown bomber jacket with an ivory wooly collar, he’d clipped his State Fire Marshal badge to the wide lapel.
“Richard Oster,” he said, thrusting out an ungloved hand. “Rick.”
Piper, wearing her driver’s gloves, shook it, noting his grip was uncomfortably strong. She squeezed back. “Piper Black—”
“Sheriff Piper Blackwell. I know who you are. Something of a celebrity. You handled a couple of major drug busts in the fall. Serious pot farm, meth lab so big the Feds came in. Largest take downs in the state’s history. The Indy Star ran stories for days. Made the national news. Pleasure to meet you.”
And Detective Basil Meredith,” Piper added an introduction, indicating him with a hand. “He discovered the drug operations.” Along with Chief Deputy Oren Rosenberg, who nearly lost his life to this fire.
“Pleasure.” Oster shook Basil’s hand.
Santa Claus Fire Chief Wollach joined them. He’d been walking around the perimeter of both properties, taking pictures, shaking his head as if in disbelief.
The wreckage looked worse this morning, the bright sun illuminated charred wood, collapsed bricks, sections of walls leaning precariously, and twisted things that had been furniture and appliances and memories. Oren’s fireplace and chimney still stood, like a tall digit flipping off the neighborhood. The scene had been bad enough when she came out hours earlier while the volunteer fire department fought the blaze. The darkness and sleet muted much of the horror then. Odors of burned and melted things remained strong.
She turned on her body cam, noticing Basil was using the department camera, getting shots of the destruction, Oster, Wollach, and the neighbors perched on the sidewalk across the street.
Ten onlookers bundled in winter coats, two of them with cell phones up and recording, Piper noted. Maybe they were among the gawkers hours ago when the fire raged. Three men stood separate, near an open garage, the clouds of mist around their heads evidence of their conversation. Faces peered from windows, many of them children. Maybe someone watching knew something about the victims who’d died in the Laubenstein house. Or had seen something.
“I agree with you,” Oster said to Basil, nodding. “This is arson. Clumsy, amateur, clear. I’ll conduct a thorough investigation to back it up. I have two technicians with me and we’ll get footage and samples.” He filled the pause with a chuckle. “Well, they’ll be back here in a little while. Baxter takes frequent pee breaks, and they’re picking up coffees.”
“You said the fire started here,” Piper cut in. Wood crunched under her feet as she walked, pieces of Oren’s house. “Show me.”

GOOD MONDAY ALL

Good Monday all, I hope you all had a great weekend full of books and if you went black Friday shopping you got lots of books. Today I have for you a brand new author and her debut book MORTAL TETHER  by Candice Jarrett.

                         BOOK BLURB

An airborne virus twisted all adults on the planet into immortal monsters that hunt children each nightfall. These creatures can never die. But they can kill. And the infection is spreading.

Days shy of fourteen, Amaia knows she can't save the world. She's got snark and attitude for days, but the upper body strength of a hamster. When Amaia teams up with the cute boy from across the street to rescue an orphaned infant from a horrifying fate, the pair of teens must dig deep for their courage and level up their survival skills STAT. The baby's cries are a screeching dinner bell for hordes of hungry geists, and if Amaia can't keep this baby quiet, she'll be next on the menu.

As Amaia fights both for her new family's survival and to uncover the truth of her older brother Carlos' disappearance, a civilization poisoned by fear threatens to destroy anyone she dares to love.

Amaia will find the people she runs to for help... are the deadliest monsters of all.

                       MY REVIEW
The day started off like any other day for Amaia, school and home, fighting with her older brother over the tv but it didn't go the way for long . After watching a weird newscast and seeing Carlo's girlfriend hurt and babbling, things go from bad to worse . After being in the attic for the night Amaia is rescued by her neighbor Liam. Together they try and figure out what is going on. All the parents have just disappeared and come out at night as gross zombie who just want to eat . The only thing that saves them is light when the geists basically blow up and float until sundown. When you feel all alone you find two different groups of kids who are trying to survive but which group do you trust and will the world ever be the same again. What would you do if you knew you would only survive until you turn
twenty . Would you save the world or save the one person you love the most your family.

Amaia is a young girl at the age of thirteen, she is thrust into a world where there is no adults and she has to survive anyway she can. At first she comes out as a very naive young girl who has not had a family and a brother who she fought with on a daily business. But as she comes to terms with what happened she really grows and man that girl can fight. She is one stubborn girl who will do anything to find her brother and try and find someplace where her, Liam and baby Sara can feel safe with or without her brother . Liam is the sweet neighbor boy who rescues Amaia, he is such a sweet boy who is nervous and wants to figure out what is going on and wants to stay safe. When push comes to shove though he will stand up for Amaia and keep her safe. We also meet two different groups that want to stay safe. One group is run like a military camp keeping every one working and scavenging for things . The other group was more cordial and fun loving . Each group had its good points and its bad points .  These characters are so likable and you want to keep them all safe through out the story.

This is a ya book that really kept me interested, the new take on zombies is very different. There is no way to actually kill them and they will never go away.  I had fun reading and really got a Lord of the Flies vibe to it. and throw in a bit of survivor  you have a good read . This book is geared for kids from 13 and up but you could read it also. The story moves pretty well and you want to cheer for the kids and also want to keep them safe.  Check it out for your tween if you want them to read a fun zombie book without a lot of gore. It would make a great Christmas gift for your young reader.

TIME TO START THINKING BOOKS FOR CHRISTMAS

Good morning my peeps , yes the title says it all. Time to start thinking about the book people in your life and all the books you can give them for Christmas . I do have a great series that any fun loving book lover would love. The Haven Hollow series and book 28 NEWLYWED AND PIXIE-LED  by Hp Mallory and J.R Rain

                         BOOK BLURB

This town is going to be the death of me…

For a small town, you’d think being the Chief of Police would be a fairly easy gig, right?

Not on your life.

Haven Hollow is proving to be the hardest job I’ve ever had.

If I’m not dealing with bitchy faeries trying to usurp a court I have no interest in ruling, I’m dealing with a curse that’s got the whole town unable to sleep.
Right—Nyquil on Aisle 9 and stat.

If only it could be that easy.

Instead, I’m going on little to no sleep, myself, while the town is basically falling apart.
I’ve got to figure out who’s responsible for this little curse ASAP and put the kibosh on it.
Luckily, I’ve got my husband (well, in name only), Maverick, here to help me. And that relationship is proving to be its own can of worms…
I just hope I can bust some perpetrator butt, and then maybe I can turn to the issue known as ‘Taliyah’s love life,’ which I have a feeling is going to be a hell of a lot harder to fix.

                   MY REVIEW
Welcome back to Haven Hollow, there is something that is going on in the hollow . People are not sleeping and town is falling apart . Taliyah is trying to find out what is going on, but it is just getting weirder and weirder out there. Taliyah is running out of steam, lack of sleep is starting to take her down along with everyone else. With Maverick's help she will be able to find out who is doing this but who is going to fix the feelings she is having for husband ( in name only) and what it means to be the chief of police and the queen of winter court, which she doesn't want .
If it isn't one thing it is another for the people of Haven Hollow. Taliyah is trying to keep everyone safe . When people start getting hurt from the lack of sleep she is really put to the test. We get to see a more scared and worried side of Taliyah. Maverick well he is still a little prickly, with everything that has happened to him . he really doesn't trust many people . Taliyah is the one person that he trusts with his life and he feels very protective of the winter queen. When you see them together there is electricity in the air and you know they want to be with each other but their own stupid pride will let them . Poppy, Wanda and the gang are back and trying to help out the reason why they aren't sleeping . I am really feeling that these characters are family at this point in the series.
This is book 28 but the characters are still relatable and you feel like family with them . The authors have made such a great town in these books , you really want to be part of family. I must admit the beginning of the book was a little boring with the back story going on just a little too long . Once you get into the book you will be cheering them on and wanting to find out what is going on. I really enjoyed this story and love the characters .So if you want a fun series check it out . It would make a great christmas read

WELL IT'S SATURDAY

Good day peeps, took a break from all the Christmas baking I need to get done and decided to read a quick read. THE LOST SHIP book 5 in the Midlife Mysteries series by Hp Mallory.

                          BOOK BLURB

 PHILIPPA:

When a mysterious ship believed to be lost at sea for a decade suddenly appears in the London docks without any sign of her crew nor captain, all of London is abuzz.
But I can’t imagine anyone is more enthralled with this mystery than I am.
And once I see the impressive ship? Well, I can’t explain this overarching desire I have to simply touch it!
But once I make contact with the ship’s hull, I’m overcome with my own excitement and simply faint clean away!
And when I awake?
I’m in the custody of Captain Arthur Giles.
And Captain Giles is not only handsome, but he’s kind, attentive and perhaps the most romantic man I’ve ever met.
But I’m also fairly certain he’s guarding a secret…
Yes, there’s a loneliness that characterizes the captain and one that calls to the loneliness within me.

GRANT:

I don’t know what the bloody hell is going on with the ship that just moored itself in the docks, but it’s a mystery I need to figure out posthaste.
And whoever this blasted captain is who has his eyes set on Philippa…
Well, I don’t like that or him one bit.
Perhaps the biggest surprise in store for me though is the moment I realize I need the help of none other than the reprobate William Spencer.
For I believe Philippa has gotten herself embroiled in something far beyond her understanding…

                      MY REVIEW

Things were going along great, Philippa got William back from the garden and everyone is getting along ok. Until the day a mysterious ship comes into the harbour and Inspector Sterling is off to investigate and yes Philippa and Willam follow him to the ship. Grant is trying to figure out how this ship came in and who the heck is Captain Arthur Giles . He has set his eyes on Phillipa and she seems to have fallen under his spell. What she doesn't know is the secret that the captain is hiding and both William and Grant must find a way to break the spell that Phillipa is under before she disappears forever.

Now it is up to the boys to save Philippa from a ghost that is charming her into staying with him on the boat.  William is well kind of scared that he will never see his friend again. He is working hard at trying to figure out why she will not wake up . Grant is coming to terms with a few things like he finally realizes that he can't live with out Philippa and that he is in love with her. They come together and fight for Philippa in so many ways . Each of them in their own way. Love how each character changes and grows with each book that comes out

This is a fun fast read, that I had done in a couple of hours . I was surprised to see our main character in trouble this time and the men in her life having to figure out and fight to get her back This book really dives deeper into the paranormal side of things  There is a lot more romance also in this book that will have you all happy and blushing . The characters are really becoming very well written and complex . Each of the evolving with each book . I am truly liking this series and can't wait to see what happens next . Will Grant and Philippa ever get together or will William and her gifts always come between them . You will have to read to find out . They are fun fast reads that will have you wanting more.Check out this series you will like it

WELCOME TO FRIDAY

Good afternoon my peeps, we made it to Friday and I hope you are all ready for a good weekend with some good books . Today I have for you book 6 in the Trailer Park Vampires series . TRAPPERS AND TROLLS by Hp Mallory and JR Rain. It is the last book in the series .

                         BOOK BLURB

 When it rains, it pours…

Things in Windy Ridge are never calm, but they seem to just be getting worse.

When kids in town start disappearing during a couple of football games, I can’t tell if whatever’s come for them did so by air or underground.

That’s the raining part. And what about the pouring part? Well…

Alton’s still trying to make a ‘relationship’ with me,

Dean’s in all kinds of a bad mood,

Sicily and Mason keep making cow eyes at each other,

And Karen freaking Dooley is still as much a thorn in my side as she ever was.

I’m thinking it’s about time I got me a dang umbrella…

                   MY REVIEW

Welcome back to Windy Ridge where everything isn't like it is suppose to be. Everyone is still trying to get their feet under them after the fog changed them all. Twila is caught between two men . Her ex who wants to get back together and the man who has her heart Dean the police chief. Then there is her daughter and Dean's nephew , Mason are having all kinds of feelings for each other. When the football players start disappearing it is up to Twila and her gang of misfits to figure out what or who is making them disappear . If that isn't all that is happening Karen Dooley is driving Twila crazy with her orders and shifty attitude .

Twila and the gang are back and there is tension in town. Everyone just seems to be on edge. Twila is as busy as ever but there are moments she is acting like an over protective mom to everyone around her. She will have to put everything aside to figure out what is going on. She is the glue that honestly holding everyone together and ready to get to the bottom of things .  Alton is well he is trying to be the guy that Twila wants but to no avail. She just wants to be friends and he wants more. He is such a sweet guy but sometimes he is kind of a pain in the butt. He doesn't understand why he can't be with Twila. Dean is well he is such a sweet guy and knows Twila well and wants her so badly. They are so good together and really need to be together they know each other very well . Each of these characters are very well written and complex . You will love them and want to be their friends .

I am kind of sad that this is the last book in the series . These characters have grown since the first book and you really get to see them as a family that will do anything for each other. The authors really made Windy Ridge a real home for the characters and you really get to enjoy them all. This would be a fun quick series to read for the Halloween season. Check it out I promise you will love it.

HAPPY TUESDAY ALL

Good morning my peeps, well woke up to it snowing on the farm today so it is a great day to curl up and read. Today I have for you book 27 in the Haven Hollow series . GYPSY GOLD  by Hp Mallory and JR Rain.

                          BOOK BLURB

So, it’s official: Andre and I are now an item. How do I feel about it? Excited and just a little nervous. Okay, a lot nervous—what if I mess this up?

I’ve promised myself that I won’t focus on the negative! Instead, I’m trying not to be too depressed because Andre is leaving Haven Hollow for a few weeks.

Why? Because he’s a traveling Magician.

As a goodbye present, I’ve whipped up a potion I haven’t made in a long while: Gypsy Gold. I figure it will make an impressive stage trick when he’s able to turn things into fool’s gold!

But after Andre leaves town (taking with him the Gypsy Gold), things around Haven Hollow start turning into gold…

And, of course, I can’t help but wonder if my potion has something to do with it.

When word spreads that a tree in the middle of Main Street has been turned into solid gold, everyone descends on our small town, trying to get a piece of the treasure.

And that’s not all. Soon, there are robberies occurring all over town.

But worst of all? A social media influencer and ghost hunter named Kenzie Chase appears in Haven Hollow, determined to unlock the secrets of our town…

                    MY REVIEW

Welcome back to Haven Hollow, things have been pretty normal around town, Poppy is blissfully in love with Andre and Finn is doing great . Until the day gold plants start showing up around town and no one knows how it is happening. When it gets out that a tree  has turned to solid gold the town is covered with people trying to get a piece of the tree. Then it gets worse when a social media influencer and so called ghost hunter names Kenzie Chase shows up and she is determined on figuring out Haven Hollow . Will the council be able to keep this under wraps and will Poppy figure it out before all is lost, With the help of Wanda her best friend she just might have a chance.

Poppy and the gang are back and funnier then ever . Poppy well she is falling in love with her soulmate even though they are taking it slow and Finn is growing up so fast too . He is the sweetest teen you could imagine and wants to help out his friend who is basically being bullied by a teacher. His magic does complicate things a bit, but he won't let that stop him. We also get to meet a new character Kenzie Chase , she is an influencer on social media and a self proclaimed ghost hunter . She comes off as kind of arrogant sometimes and just wants to out Haven Hollow. She won't let up till all is revealed but you know Roy and the gang they won't let that happen . Anytime you put Wanda and Poppy together you are in for such a laugh fest. I absolutely adore these characters there is never a dull moment.

This is a fun read that will have you laughing all the way through. The characters are more like friends now that I truly adore.  The authors just take the characters to fun new levels of hilarity. I love reading this series its like old home week when I see they have a new book coming out. They are such fun read each book features a character so they never become dull . This is a fun series to read when you just want a get away for awhile and loose yourself in a book that has a fun time . So check it out if you want a fun fast read .

WOOHOO MADE IT TO FRIDAY

Good afternoon my peeps, hope you are all ready for the weekend. If you are looking for a great book to read this weekend I have for you HOMICIDAL INNOCENCE by VJ Lee.

                        BOOK BLURB

What happens when your learned behavior is murder?

From a young age, I thought killing was normal.

Then I was taken away.

They tried to fix me.

They failed.

They thought changing my identity and giving me a fresh start in a new town would help.                         They were wrong.
They tried to cast out the demons lurking within my mind.
It didn’t work.
The demons demand satisfaction, regardless of who must die.

Diamond Valley, the land of silicone and plastic, is now my hunting ground.
I take the most beautiful of all, turning them into my trophies—like beautiful butterflies on display for eternity, encased in glass and metal.

The ones I don’t deem worthy are found in the most gruesome ways, for all to see what’s truly on the

Everyone can and will perish in the most horrific ways if we deem it so—except for the most beautiful inside and out. Maya Archer will always be ours—mine and the demons within me.

Detective Cole Silverthorne has spent his entire career chasing me. He has no idea how close I truly am, or that he’s falling in love with what’s mine, which will never do.

Once a killer, always a killer.

                      MY REVIEW
Diamond Valley is a place where the rich come to live and play. Where nannies are abundant and they all want to marry the rich guy. Except Maya Archer, she is not like the other nannies around, she generally cares for the child she is minding and wants to keep him safe.  One day she meets a shy dad and his twins at the park where her and the kids start to form a friendship. Things are going great until nannies are going missing and the house of the people she nannies for goes up in flames.  She meets detective Cole Silverthorne a hot cop who has been on this case for a long time. Together they are trying to find out who the killer is and why he is targeting Maya. If they keep their heads about themselves they just might come out of this alive.
Ok this is one of those books that you go into and think ok i can figure out who the killer is and why they are doing it . But the characters are well written and complex . Maya is one of those characters that  is sweet and oh so kind, she reminds me of Mary Poppins in a way . There is an underlying strength to her though that will help her get through the worst time of her life. When everyone is against her we see her grow and become a strong woman who will not be pushed around by anyone man nor child. Cole Silverthorne is a hard as nails detective who well doesn't always play by the books by letting relationships get in the way. He is sexy and debonair but he can really be a twit every now and then.  He does need a good smack every now and then. He does eventually come around and become the hero that everyone needs him to be. John the nerdy hot next door neighbor is well he is one of those guys who is quiet but he knows more then he is letting on. You really can't trust him but you are also lulled into the quiet of him and his kids . There are also some secondary characters the nannies who I like to call the mean girl club which just adds to the story cause you just don't know what is going to happen and if any of them will survive.
This is one of those books where you sit down and start reading and you can't put it down . I am usually good at figuring out the bad guy but this book had me baffled. The twists and turns through out had me second guessing myself quite a few times. The characters are so well written and complex you can't help but not like them.  There is a great mystery. romance and a lot of he said she said that goes on in this book .  The author really did me in with this book , I was really wondering what goes on in her mind. So if you want a good mystery with lots of intrigue check it out . I promise you will love it

HAPPY MONDAY ALL

Good Monday morning my peeps, I hope your weekend was great and you got some good books read. Today I have for you book 4 in the Harland Creek Mystery quilters THE MYSTERY OF THE LOG CABIN  by Jodi Allen Brice.

                           BOOK BLURB

Hi, I’m Dove Agnew and let me tell you, it’s been a year in the small Southern town of Harland Creek.

Just when I thought I could take a break from solving murders and sort out my emotions, fate had other plans. Dean, my ex-boyfriend and local chief of police, confessed that he still had feelings for me. Unable to resist our emotional connection, we began meeting in secret around town to talk, but our meetings often led to passionate and guilt-ridden kisses.
Dean suggested we escape to his secluded log cabin for some much-needed privacy and to resolve our complicated situation. Hoping for a peaceful getaway, we expected heart-to-heart conversations to make sense of our emotions. However, our romantic intentions were shattered when, on our first night at the cabin, we opened the door to discover Luke Merriweather, a local resident, lifeless on our doorstep with an arrow in his chest.
As the small town's law enforcement struggles to uncover the truth, a cloud of suspicion hangs over certain residents, each of whom becomes a potential suspect.
I turn to my tribe of mystery quilters, a tight-knit group of amateur sleuths who excel in piecing together puzzles, both in fabrics and in investigations. Among them is Petunia, a quirky pet goat with an uncanny knack for sniffing out clues. Together, we must dig into the tangled web of secrets, lies, and hidden motives that lie beneath the surface of our seemingly idyllic small town.
As the investigation deepens, my team and I soon realize that the mystery surrounding Luke Merriweather’s death is far more complex than we ever anticipated. Each revelation uncovers long-buried secrets and exposes unexpected connections between the town's inhabitants. As we encounter unexpected twists and threats, we must decipher the clues to unmask the true culprit and bring justice to our community.
In "The Mystery of the Log Cabin," I learn that the line between friends and enemies in a small town can blur, making it challenging to trust anyone.

                      MY REVIEW
Dove is back with her gang of quilters and Petunia. Dove is trying to figure out her relationship with Dean after he declares his love for her and then broke up with his girlfriend. She is worried about her reputation of being a home wrecker . So they decide to go to his cabin for the weekend so they can talk and not even an hour into their weekend  a dead body ends up on Dean's door step. They are thrown into another mystery and her group of quilters are ready to figure out the mysteries of Luke Merriweather and who would want to kill him. With their help Dove might figure out more then the mystery maybe she can finally figure out her feelings and why she is hiding them from people in the small town she lives in.

I absolutely love Dove and the gang , they are so much fun to hang out with. Even though Dove is being struck with a bout of conscious about her feeling for Dean. There are moments where you just want to shake her and tell her that Dean is the one for her. She is such a sweet woman and a great detective when things go awry. Dean well he has the patience of a saint when it comes to Dove. He loves her and has always loved her even when they broke up. He is sweet and sexy and just an all around good guy. The quilting ladies are also back and honestly funnier then ever . My favourite character is Petunia the goat who loves to help out the ladies even if she gets car sick. She brings a bit of happiness to everyone she comes in contact with.

I absolutely adore this series , it involves mystery, humor and a dash of romance. There is no lack of suspects and the twists and turns will have you trying to figure out who did it . The author takes us on a laugh out loud ride through out this book. The characters are well written and complex and you can't help but fall in love with them. It is a great afternoon read that I couldn't put down.  I would read the other books before diving into this one so you can get to know the characters and their quirks and then dive into this one . So if you want a sweet story and mystery all rolled into one check it out .

The stakes escalate when a strange woman in red appears at the funeral, offering a tantalizing clue about her mother’s demise, followed by a cryptic video about a transformative spa experience. With the help of a pair of red shoes, Belle is lured into the barbed embrace of La Maison de Méduse, the same lavish, culty spa to which her mother was devoted. There, Belle discovers the frightening secret behind her (and her mother’s) obsession with the mirror—and the great shimmering depths (and demons) that lurk on the other side of the glass.

Snow White meets Eyes Wide Shut in this surreal descent into the dark side of beauty, envy, grief, and the complicated love between mothers and daughters. With black humor and seductive horror, Rouge explores the cult-like nature of the beauty industry—as well as the danger of internalizing its pitiless gaze. Brimming with California sunshine and blood-red rose petals, Rouge holds up a warped mirror to our relationship with mortality, our collective fixation with the surface, and the wondrous, deep longing that might lie beneath.

                        MY REVIEW
For as long as Belle can remember she has been hooked on skin care regimes and how to videos. When her mom dies in California she is out of her element figuring out all her mothers debts and trying to figure out her mother's unexplained death. Things go from bad to worse when a woman in red shows up at the funeral and offers Belle a chance of a lifetime. With the help of a pair of red shoes she enters a world where beauty is the only thing that is important and what below the surface isn't wanted.
This is one those books that the characters are so varied and you want to hug them all. Belle is a girl who has been insecure her whole life . She felt that she wasn't good enough so she religiously took care of her skin and wanted that perfect glow. She falls under the spell of how a perfect woman should be. She is does come out the other side but is she better for it or will she find herself in the same boat as her mother and obsessed with the mirrors and watch her beauty fade as time goes by.
This is the first novel I have read from this author and from chapter one I was pulled into a world where beauty is everything and no one sees beyond that . The author really turns the beauty industry on its side. It shows how unrealistic the beauty industry is and what women would do to try and get that perfect look that is unattainable. This book is equal parts , horror, dark comedy and entertaining .Keeps you on the edge of your seat through out and you really start to feel for the main character. This author writes intelligent thought provoking stories and can't wait to read more from this author. Check it out it would be a great Halloween read
