                           MY REVIEW 

  Kari has ben rescued by the one man who can maybe heal her in the process . When Sven  sees Kari at a sector party he is over come with the desire to protect and heal . When he gets he to safety and in his arms she is broken beyond repair . She may be trying to get under his skin with her ways but to find out the way to help her . They go through a lot and when he finally finds the fighter hidden deep down inside he knows that its time to help her burn down the sector that was once her home and her darkest fear .

 Ok I am going to warn you right here and right now . Kari is broken and I mean broken . She is the darkest space ever .  She is basically a shell of a human being just relying on her wolf to hold it together . They have a a disconnect between them . As she heals we see a woman who is willing to fight for what she wants . Sven is an alpha and he is the kind of alpha is loving and nurturing to the one he loves and needs . They are are suited to each other and when they are together they are awesome . Kazek and Winter are back and ready for the fight . These characters are very well written and  complex . 

 I am going to tell you this book isn't for the faint of heart . There is some really dark things that go on in the first part of the book . There is talk of rape, dark depressing thoughts of suicide . It also deals with human trafficking and the after math of dealing with all of this . The main character also has PTSD  and watching her work through all of what happened to her . Breaks your heart into a million pieces . The author doesn't leave us sad for too long . We get to see her start to grow an become the fighter she is . The author really takes us on a rollercoaster ride . You will love the characters and the story will have you on the edge of your seat through most of the book . I will admit I did shed some tears when I was reading Kari 's back story and what happned to her . You can read this as a stand alone but if you really want to get into the X Clan series .

GOOD MORNING EVEYONE

  Good morning all , today is a non reader round up book . I will admit i totally forgot about having to do a blog post . Must organize better. So here we go I have a new author to me and his book  KILL THE GIANTS ( A Rogan novel ) by Steven L Strewsbury

                      MY REVIEW

   When Rogan a keltos warrior emerges out of a battle the only survivor . Slaying a nephillin giant , he receives a mammoth that was gifted to the kings .  Soon warriors are sent to recapture the mammoth and take it to the fabled city of Irem  for the lord of the world Zazele who is a demon in human form . When Rogan's sister is to be the sacrifice to this god . Rogan must fight the warriors and save his sister, will he be able to get to her in time and will he survive. 

 There are some great characters in this book the main character is Rogan a fierce warrior who sometimes is way too cocky for his own good . Now you are going to laugh at me but as a character I really loved the mammoth . The author made the mammoth almost people like when  he is saving Rogan and fighting with Rogan . There are a lot of characters through out this book that are all well written and unique . Each character is complex and well written and I truly enjoyed them .

 This is one of those books where you settle down with a blanket and a good cup of tea and no distractions .  Then you start reading you get sucked into a magical world where the author paints a wonderful world and you are taken on a roller coaster ride . The characters are well crafted and complex and you will be on the edge of your seat most of the time . But I did find that it did lag in a few spots and it felt a little slow not enough to stop reading . Over all I really enjoyed this book and would like to read more from this author . So if you want a good fantasy book with some great characters check it out .

                    MY REVIEW 

 Kazek Flor is the huntsman and the second in the Norse Sector under Ludvig . When he is sent to the Winter Sector to a engagement party for the princess and her betrothed . Well lets say the party was one never to forget and Kazek ends up with more then he bargained for with a stow away on the plane . When he finds Snow he finds his missing piece even when she keeps denying that she is an omega , she has been told her whole life that she was a beta . When they figure everything out and her true identity . They are out for vengeance and to take back her sector from the evil queen of mirrors

  This is a dark retelling of Snow White with a dystopian feel to it . The main characters are well written and complex . Snow aka Winter is feisty , and well lets just say stubborn as mule some days. She is a strong woman and becomes eve stronger when with Kazek . Kazek is all alpha and he is also haunted by his past . He is ready to fight for what is his . He will do anything to protect everyone . Together they are a powerful couple and will do what ever it takes to be the ones to give back the land to Snow.  There are a lot of characters that help out the duo along the way . The Queen of Mirrors is truly evil , she has done so much to hurt  Snow . She is arrogant and all she thinks of is herself . These characters are well written and complex. 

  This is one of those books that will have you on the edge or your seat most of the time . The other times you are blushing and fanning yourself.  The author does a great job retelling the snow white tale . You are taken to a world of snow and ice where the wolves are the ruling party. I truly liked this retelling it was darker and more daring in so many ways . The characters are well written and I truly like Kazek and Winter . I couldn't stop reading I was hooked by chapter 2 . I felt it flowed really well and didn't drag anywhere at all . It can be read as a stand alone but if you want to know more about some of the characters that are mentioned you can read book one and then this one . So if you want a hot book with sexy shifters and a good story retelling check it out .

 Good afternoon everyone I am on day 6 of reader round up . I will say that the books are great and love reading them . Today I have book five in the Division Zone series . HARBINGER  by Matthew S Cox.

                     MY REVIEW 

  This isn't the first time that Lieutenant Kristen Wren has encountered Harbingers but they usually don't follow her home . Things at home are going great her adopted son is finally adjusting to his new life . Now with dead gang members are ending up dying all over town and there are ritualistic in meaning . Kristen take overs the investigation and with the help of her ghost partner Dorian she is working hard to get the bad guys even if it means taking down one of the most feared gangs in the district . 

  There are so many characters in this books . Kristen is such a wonderful woman .. She is feisty and hardworking and also a psychic who can see the dead . She is in the best relationship and her son Evan is sweet and sometimes he comes off immature but not really being immature . He wants to be friends with everyone and loves taking care of those friends .There are so many characters that come and go through out the book and keep Kristen on her toes . All the characters are very well written and complex. 

 This is one of those books that combines science fiction with a dash of drama and mystery . The author has a great grasp of the genre and paints a very vivid landscape for these characters to live and work in . The characters are well written and complex and you will love them . I truly enjoyed this book and loved the characters and the story is complex . If you want a good read for an evening check it out . It is part of a series but you can read it as a stand alone. So check it out .

                      MY REVIEW 

 Carolina had it all a marriage she thought was forever , friends a gorgeous house in one of the most influential neighborhoods. Until the fateful day her world fell apart and she found out that her husband was cheating and his girlfriend was pregnant . So after the divorce she heads out to the lake house to start her life over . When things go from bad to worse but with a stubborness and a strength she starts over and finds out there is more friends out there that want to help and be her friend for her not her way of life . She will make her life with the people who want her in her life . 

 This is one of those books where the characters are amazing . Carolina is a forty year old woman who is at first a little naive when it comes to her husband and her friends . Until the day that she has to become a woman who can stand on her own two feet and survive .  She really starts to stand on her own as time goes by . She has a stubborn streak that will not let her stop .Chris her ex husband well he is a leech and I really wanted to throttle him . He is a slimy two timer who deserves everything he gets . Thomas is the gruff handy man who is doing work for Carolina . He may come off as a grump but deep down inside he is hurting and struggling with his wife's passing , Carolina helps him and he just becomes a man you want to know and maybe love. These are just a few of the characters that are friends and neighbours to Carolina . They are all such fun characters to read and you will fall in love with them . 

   This is a book that you can sit down and kind of get lost in .  I am truly loving the books this author writes . They have some traumas in them but we get to see the struggles and come out the other end stronger . The author takes us on such an emotional rollercoaster ride . Trust me there were times in the book I was wishing Chris would get his in the end and what about his mother . Trust me when you read what she did to Carolina you will want to throttle her also . This is a sweet clean story with some Christian values . But your really don't feel it in the book but you can feel the happiness and the strife that the characters go through. So if you want a sweet story of over coming life's traumas check it out you will not be disappointed .

 Kat has been in hiding for the first twenty years of her life , hiding with other humans fighting the zombies . There are other forces that they must fight also when on a raiding mission they raided the wrong caravan. She is captured and taken to Andorra Sector . Where she finds herself at the mercy of the Alpha and he wants her . She is turned without her knowledge and then is found out that she is a prized possession that everyone wants . Ander is the alpha and he wants her , he will let her fight and claw but she will submit to him one way or another .\

 Ok lets see what can I say about the main characters . Kat well she is a wild one, she is a survivor that can out wit most of the men . But there are moments that her stubbornness is going to get herself killed but she just doesn't give up . Ander well he is sometimes a complete jerk but he also does have a heart underneath all the muscles and arrogant manners .  He pushes Kat to her breaking point and really doesn't realize that he hurt her in so many ways . They both start to realize that they need each other and honestly you start to see them grow and become even stronger characters . 

 There is something I am going to say before I continue on . This book is not for the faint of heart . This book contains some dark subjects that could be triggers for some people. Now if you are up to the challenge this book will have you on the edge of your seat most of the time . The rest of your time will be fanning your face and blushing. The main characters are well written and complex but there are times that you really wanted to shake the hero and tell him that quit being such a jerk to the heroine . I will tell you there is a lot of sex that goes on in this book and there is an attempted rape scene that goes on . There is also the love hate relationship between and alpha and his omega . The one thing I will say I found that it drug on a bit in the middle but over all I really enjoyed this story and want to more from this author . Going to check out the next book in the series .

  When agent Andrej Siminof has to reach out to an old friend to figure out why he is seeing spots ,colours . He gets more then he bargained for when he becomes an agent for the FPU. Where he is thrown into the middle of a confusing case involving the making waves family . When he meets Taylen Scott is a marine biologist who is also a eclectic Witch. They are instantly as they figure out what is going on . Will they be able to figure out what is going on in the channel and will they be able to live without each other . 

   Welcome to the world of the FPU where they investigate the paranormal . Taylen is an eclectic witch and a marine biologist and she is very serious and feisty . She is trying to figure out what is going on in the water . When push comes to shove she will protect anyone that is dear to her .  Andrej is well he is your typical alpha who is sexy and deep down he has a heart of gold . When push comes to shove he will do almost anything to protect the ones he loves . Even if that means he looses part of himself in the process.  These characters are well written and complex you will love them from the start . 

 This is one of those reads that is a fast read . The author throws us into the action by chapter two .  Andrej and Taylen will have you falling in love with them, they are complex and well written .  The story is fun to read and you can have it read in a couple of hours .  The author does take us on a fun ride that will have you on the edge of your seat through out . The story has a mixture of romance and mystery with a little bit of a stalker vibe going on . I truly liked this story and can't wait to read more books in this series . So if you want a fun read check it out .

                  MY REVIEW 

  The mountains of Montana have one of Beth's friend in its clutches so Beth and Todd are o the way to find Calico and the coin that Simon is after . Beth has a target on her back and she meets that creature that wants her dead . Todd her  protector  and the love of her life has to turn the ancient voodoo to help her and the guidance of a dead friend . Will they be able to find Calico and will they survive.

 Beth and the gang is back and we also get to meet some new characters . We are in shifter country now . We get to meet Silas a bear shifter an alpha of his clan . He is one grumpy bear who is very protective of those around him. Jax and other shifters that are all there to help. They are all strong characters that are so well written and complex .  Beth and Todd are totally in sync with each other and become more and more in tune with each other . Todd does still have some self doubting moments but he realizes that he is stronger then what they think he is . Beth is getting tired and fed up with everything that is going on . Everyone wants a piece of her  and she is getting tired of being played by everyone . 

 I was so happy to get my hands on this book . I couldn't wait to see what the author did this time . I started reading and was sucked in by the time i was done chapter two . I am really liking Beth and Todd , they are such a fun characters to read .  This story has a great balance of intrigue and sweet loving times that had me flipping pages . I was on the edge of my seat for most of the book and I couldn't put it down. I will tell you though the author left us with a big cliff hanger in this one . I can't wait till I can get my hands on book 4. I need to see what will happen to Beth and Todd and will they survive and will they be able to settle down to the life they deserve.

  Good afternoon peeps I am back and I have the 9th book in the Happily Never After series . Lets look at BELLE  by Hp Mallory

After Kronos takes control of Delerood, Belle and her soldiers are forced to retreat.

Realizing the blow is a big one, Belle also realizes the only way back into Delerood and through Kronos’ time-loop, which keeps outsiders out, is by returning to Castle Chimera, where she’ll need to appeal to the three monsters living there.

But appealing to these three monsters, known as Alder, Horatius, and Beacon, won’t be an easy feat because, sixteen years earlier, Belle cursed them to their vile shapes. Not only did she curse them to resemble monsters, but she also cursed them to remain within the castle’s boundaries. To say they hate her is probably an understatement.

Yet, Belle still needs them because she believes they’re the only way to defeat Kronos. Why? Because sixteen years ago, they served under Kronos, hence why she cursed them in the first place.

While securing their help will be a feat, so is trying to convince herself she’s not moved by Alder’s rough touch, Beacon’s bitterness, or Horatius’ secret…

                      MY REVIEW 

  Belle is forced to retreat after Kronos takes control of her town . She is determined to get back and defeat Kronos but she has to go back and fix what she has done sixteen years earlier and face the three men she turned into monsters and ask or I should plead for them to not kill her and help her with Kronos . Things are more then what they seem and when they are together they are a force to be reckoned with . Will they be able fight their feelings to fight their enemy . They will be together or will the lies and the history keep them apart . 

 Belle is one of those characters that is strong but also scared of what can happen if she can't stop Kronos. She is feisty and actually very loving. Aiden' is well he is the alpha and he is storing up a lot of anger up for Belle . He is brooding and an over thinker . Beacon is hiding a bitterness for Belle but he is also sensitive and is a great soldier . Horatius is hiding a secret that could get them into the town and through the time loop. He is a sweet heart that is ready at the drop of a hat to fight the enemy.  They are such fun characters that are well written anc complex. 

 This is book nine in the series and the author keeps it a fun read . This is a great twist on the Beauty and the Beast story , with Belle being a sorceress and the beast are actually three men . The author has created such a grand world where there is good and the bad that is coming to a big stand off for the world of Neverland .  I read this book in a evening once I started I couldn't put it down until I found out what was going to happen.  Each story builds on the one before to add up to the final battle .  I was on the edge of me seat through out and there are some sexy times that go on through out . So if you want a fun series check it out . 

DAY ONE OF READER ROUND UP

 Good morning peeps I have started another reader round up so there will be two posts a day for the next little while . A book from reader round up and later in the afternoon a book that I have read . So let's get started and the first book I have for you is book 2 in the  Sentinel series . SPIRIT HUNTER AND THE NAMELESS MAN  by Brenda Nichols.

                      MY REVIEW 

  Beth and Todd are back and and on a mission to find a missing teen . When a voodoo priestess has all ties cut to her ancestors  Beth and Todd have to head to the bayou to find out .  Beth is good at her job talking to and finding the dead but this isn't an ordinary case . Beth has to not only find the missing girl but visit Death himself to find out how to save her love and the man who protects her with his life . Todd and he is fading away fast one memory at a time. Will she be able to figure out what is happening to her love and save the missing girl at the same time . Only she knows and if she has to die to do it she just might . 

  What can I say Todd and Beth are back and better then ever . Beth is such a fighter , she is strong and well strong willed also but deep inside you can tell that she is kind of getting weary of what she is doing and wants to retire and just be with her love .  Todd is adjusting well to his new life but you can see that he still has a few pains about his last life .  This is hard for him cause he is usually the one doing the saving but when he is taken down you see him struggle with everything . You get to see him at his weakest and the feeling of loss and the loss of the love he feels for Beth . They just keep getting better and when they are thrown into a mess of a mystery we really get to see them at their strongest . i really like these main characters we get to see many aspects to them and they are so well written and complex . 

  I couldn't wait to dive into this book, I absolutely adored the first book so when I finally got this one I couldn't put it down . The author had me on the edge of my seat most of the way through this book . The characters are well written and complex and you can really start to fall for them .  I must say I really liked the voodoo aspect through out this book , it added some fun in the book. This is one of those books that you can read and love .  So if you want a fun read check out this series .

 Good afternoon peeps , its a cold and blustery day here on the farm . It is the winter that will just not end here . Good day to curl up and read . Today I have book 4 in the Sinful Natures series . UNHOLY TEMPTATION by Lynn Burke .

                       MY REVIEW 

 Jed is the assistant pastor at Simple Grace Church . He is hiding a big secret that had a pastor removed and a couple of members leave . He has successfully hidden his identity until the moment his brothers best friend moves back to town and moved in across the hall from him. Jed is at a cross roads in his life when there is more going on at the church and he must decide on what he is going to do . Will Aiden's help and his love help Jed come out of his shell and become the man that Aiden knows he is . 

  I was so excited to hear that Jed was getting his own story. He is such a sweet guy who is torn between two worlds . He is a man of God but he is also a gay man who wants to be loved by someone.  He is a sweet shy nerdy guy who loves Star wars and graphic novels . Who has his life turned upside down when a person from his past comes back into his life . Aiden is that guy that everyone loved in high school , he was a jock who well did not know what he wanted . He was a man who the girls flocked to . To say he was kind of cocky and sure of himself . When he comes home he is well rethinking his life after his divorce . He is still cocky but he is also finding out a lot about himself and why his relationship didn't work. They both really do a lot of growing up through out this book especially Jed we see him become a man who is proud of who he has become and he grew up a lot . Aiden grew up also and realized who he was really suppose to be deep down inside . They are such well written characters that are well written and complex . 

 This is one of those stories that once you start it you will not stop until you are done. I read this book in an evening and just couldn't put it down . The author really paints a realistic view of what it is like to be different and find the love you deserve . The characters are so well written and complex you will love them from the very first moment you meet them, You don't have to read the other three books but it would be a good idea to get to know the guys .  I truly enjoyed this series and can't wait to see what the author will come with next . So if you like a love story that is full of angst with great characters check it out
