Once upon a time, there was a beautiful maiden caught in the clutches of an evil enchantress. When a huntsman sent to kill them stumbles upon a cozy cottage, he has no idea what fate awaits him. The frantic caws of the raven in his midst are still not warning enough to keep him away. He is drawn to the magic of the Crystal Ball.

                       MY REVIEW 

 When a huntsman goes out to find the enchantress that is in the dark woods . He has no idea what is about to happen to him when a beautiful young woman enchants him things change and he is thrust into a world of magic and a raven that is trying to warn him. But he is drawn into the magic of a crystal ball

The characters in this novella are well written . Cain aka the huntsman is on the hunt for the witch that has taken the kings son. He is strong but also has a side to him that he doesn't want to be enchanted and is scared . He also wants to do what is right . Ember is the enchantress that is bewitching all those that come around . There is more to her and then we realize and when we meet her daughter we get the low down of what is really going on. Amara is the true reason of all the bad things going on in the dark forest .We find out the whole story . Each character is so well written and you fall for each of them. They are well written ,

This is a short story is well crafted and is a retelling of a combination two fairy tales with characters it has the elements of snow white and ariel. With witches and sirens and men who are after them. The author tells a fascinating story of magic and what can happen when you are enchanted . I really like this author's type of writing and her story telling that will keep you entertained. It is a fun quick read .
