   Good Monday morning my peeps. I hope you are all ok from the storms running around . Today is a great day for reading up here on the farm. I drear windy day, a good day for tea a cozy blanket and a brand new book . Today IMMORTAL  book 5 in the Blood Knight Chronicles by Linda Thomas - Sundstrom.

                       MY REVIEW 

       Luke St. James is an immortal, one of the seven that were made to guard the holy grail. He has lived centuries in solitude fighting the evil that wants the cup. Until the day he meets Hanna as she is walking home from work. He is keeping her safe from the evils that haunt the night and have marked her for some reason. There is more to Hanna and when she starts to dreaming of a place where Luke and the others have been. He knows that she is a key to something and he must help her figure out what the dreams mean and how they are connected good or bad. He needs to keep himself in check because it would be easy to fall for the woman in front of him and need help for himself. 

   Luke and Hanna what can we say about these two. Well Hanna she is sweet and honestly braver than she feels most of the time. She is more then meets the eye but is she good or evil.  Luke well he is brooding, sexy immortal who keeps the world safe from those that go bump in the night but there is a part of him that is yearning for a home and well actually a mate to share what he does with.  They both are strong characters with a sense of morality that keep them going to figure out what they are suppose to do.  We also get to meet the rest of the blood knights and their mates as the book goes on. 

   This is one of those books that once you start you can't stop until you are done. The characters are so well written and complex you can't help but cheer them on and fall for them. I love this story line so much it has vampires, angels , knights from the King Arthur era.  Which keep you flipping pages , there is also some romance and an epic fight scene towards the end of the book. I truly like this author's writing style and how she takes us on an epic roller coaster ride and honestly makes us think through out the book . So if you want a great series to read this fall check out the Blook Knight Chronicles.   Good morning my peeps. I know I have been away for awhile, life got busy on the farm with fall work. I will also admit I was in a bit of a book funk also but I am back with some new reads for your fall season. Today we are going to start with a brand new series by Hp Mallory.                         MY REVIEW 

 What do you get when you cross a bookstore, a ghost , a newly divorced woman and her best friend oh and add in a hot brooding man. You get a great story about Eliot a 42 year old divorcee and her best friend heading back to her home town to reopen the bookstore El loved as a child. One day a handsome man walks into her life and things start to change sometimes not for the best. Hauntings , books coming alive in ways , a brooding handsome man hanging on to a secret.  What is a girl to do but hang on and jump in and try to figure out this supernatural adventure of magic, love and mysteries that all are entwined in the most unusual ways. 

  For a first book in a new series, this is a fun fast read. We get to meet some fun new characters that are of a certain age. An age of most of us readers . Eliot is 42 and starting over , she is trying to put her life back together after a bad break up . She is sweet but she does have a sadness in her that has her distrusting in herself . She seems like she is not doing anything right in her eyes. She is brought into a world of characters coming to life and a vengeful ghost . What is a girl to do but toughen up and put on her big girl panties and figure out what the heck is happening . Rox is her best friend and so much fun, she is a no nonsense woman who keeps El on the right side of crazy. Rox is the type of woman that will talk you into almost anything and make it like it was your decision. She is loud and boisterous to El's quiet shy style.  Heath is tall dark and oh so broody, he is one of those men who is the strong silent type but he is hiding a big secret. You will swoon when you meet him or you will want to smack him up side the head a few times. You will soon start to like him but with every morally grey characters you will love to hate him. 

 This is the first book in the series and it started out with a bang. The characters are so good and I can't wait to see where the author takes them in next book. The book has my favourite things a bookstore, ghosts and characters that make the story fun. This is one of those fast fun reads and once you start you can't stop. I can't wait to see what the author does with the characters and what shenanigans they get up to. So check out this fun new series from a fun paranormal author.

Time for mom to have time to herself and grab a good book and have some reading time to herself.                        MY REVIEW 

  Dove and the ladies are back and have a new mystery to figure out after a big snow storm Dove and her band of quilters find themselves embroiled in a new mystery, After finding a dead man in Weenie's kitchen, she becomes the prime suspect in his murder. Besides trying to figure out who did it , Petunia the goat and number one honorary detective has gone missing in the artic cold weather. Will they be able to prove Weenie is innocent and will Petunia be found or will she like living the wild life and not come back. 

  Dove and these ladies are so much fun to read . Each of them has such distinct and quirky personalities. They are so different and so loved by each of them . Dove is one of those characters that will do what needs to be done to figure things out but she is also kind of a little down after her big city life and coming back to small town. Honestly my favorite character in this one is Petunia , she is out living her best life in the wilds and having such fun doing it . She makes me giggle every time she comes on the page. These are such fun characters and I love each and every one of them . 

   This is a fun fast read that will have you laughing out loud all the way through.  There are some twists and turns that will have you trying to think who did it . I truly love this author and her style of writing . Yes it is clean read but the story will keep you engaged until the end , well who could not love Petunia , when you read you will understand . So check out this sweet series for your fall reading list .
