Good morning my peeps , sorry i have been mia but it is cold here on the farm and we have been getting ready for the cold snap. Today is release day for one of my favourite authors. Linda Thomas-Sundstrom and her latest book MOONSTONE.

                                               BOOK BLURB

Magic and Moonlight in the Superstition Mountains...

There is magic in the Moonstone necklace Jenny wears... if she will only believe it. It will take a gorgeous man who is also a werewolf to point this out and make Jenny believe in Miracles.

                                 MY REVIEW

When Jenny  and her two girl friends take a trip to the mountains in Colorado for a girls trip. She brings along the beautiful necklace that was sent to her by a secret admirer. What she didn't know was that necklace was a powerful talisman that would bring her to the man of her dreams and let her see what he was in the dark on a full moon. They are put in a scary situation with hunters that seem to be hunting the wolves on the mountain . Will the man she met on the trail be able to keep her safe and will they be able to deny the chemistry that is happening between them .

Well we have such fun characters in this story. Jenny who is a sweet woman who wants to find out what the moonstone does and why can she call to the mystery man she met on the mountain. She is a gutsy woman who will do almost anything to figure it all out even putting herself in danger to help out Matt, who is having a hard time forgetting the woman who blew into his life . He can't get enough of her and has this uncontrollable urge to protect her. He is actually the strong silent type that can melt you into a puddle with one word or one action. He has the world on his shoulders and also a secret that if gotten out could end his life. These characters are so well written and I love the tension that they have when they are around each other . Then we get the comic relief of Jenny's two best friends Mandy and Robin. They do bring some comic relief to them when things go wrong and they can't figure out what the heck is going on.

This is one of those stories that you will sit down and read all in one sitting . I did that .  This author has a way of writing that will suck you in to the story and keep you turning the pages until you are finished. The characters are well written and diverse. You will fall in love with each and everyone of them. So if you want a good book with lots of tension check it you will love it and its a great book for a cold evening

                        MY REVIEW
Working as a  care giver and a student in London in 2010. Aroha feels like there is something missing in her life. When she is assigned to Nancy Wake , the legendary White Mouse who was part of the French Resistance. Thinking she was going to meet a frail old lady well Aroho was mistaken when she is introduced to a woman filled with fire and a wit that could cut you . When Nancy offers Aroha the chance of excitement and help find missing medals that were stolen from her . Nancy will finally tell her story of the resistance and what her part was in the war. With the help of Jules, Aroha follows the trail to a pre war Marseille and all the networks that occupied France during the war. Together they face old truths and must decide the courage it took to be part of the resistance.

These characters are so precious and so well written . Aroha is a modern girl who is just wanting to become part of the world and have some excitement and adventure in her life . Aroha is Maori from New Zealand and wanting to study her history of the Maori. She is strong and wants to help and figure out the history . Nancy is well she is a legend she had been and SOE agent . She has seen so much in the last years of the war and went through so much in her life but she is ready to tell her story . These characters are written so well . Nancy was a real agent at the time. Aroha is a fictional part of the book but the author wrote her as strong as Nancy . They are lovely characters but together the compliment each other so well .

This is a story taken from true events, the author entwines the two story lines with such ease. You really get wrapped up in the story lines and how they work well with each other. The authors show dedication to the characters and with the story. She has done her research on the time . The author does admit that she did take a bit of creativity in Nancy's story but she weaved it together so seamlessly. This book had me hooked from the very first page . The stories of each main character and interesting and leave you wanting more. This is a series that should be read and enjoyed .
