                          MY REVIEW 

 Welcome back to the Hollow, Wanda is going about her business  playing at being a vampire and being High Witch of the Scapegoat coven. Until the evening she goes to work and gets a surprise in the mail a set of mysterious rings for her and Astrid , With out thinking both Wanda and Astrid slip the rings on and poof things change . Astrid who was changed by a vampire is now healthy and breathing. Wanda on the other hand has been turned into a vampire with no reach of her witch power. There is someone or something out there wanting to prove that Wanda isn't a real vampire and now that she is one. Things are about to get a little chaotic and a little bloody. Will they be able to figure out what happened and keep two vampires off their back about Wanda . Lorcan is working over time to figure it out and keep his nemesis in check.  Will the survive the night and will Wanda do what she is destined to do . 

  The gang is back and well funnier than ever . Wanda is one of those characters that you love and you love to hate her sometimes .She is brainy and walks softly and carries a really big magical stick. But we also get to see her venerable and scared as she works on being a vampire and trying to find her power again . Lorcan is her trusted sidekick and her husband, and man you really get to know him better in this book. We find out who is after them and it sets them up for an epic fight . Poppy and the rest of the gang are back also to help figure out how to help her get back to her true self. Each character is like coming home and settling down with some really good friends . 

This is a hilarious book and you can't stop laughing all the way through the book. Each character is well written and very complex. You love them and their faults .These authors have really made an epic story, the hollow have changed and become its own character through out the books. I would strongly suggest you read the other books in the series but if you wanted to you could read this book as a stand alone. Check out this series you will love it.

  Well it was spring outside but today I woke up to snow falling on the farm. I like the moisture but I donot like the white stuff . It is a good day to stay indoors and read some good books . Today I have for you book 3 in the Villians of Kassel . FEAST OF THE FALLEN by Lydia Miceals .

                          MY REVIEW 

 Daisy is doing everything to survive , she has been working the same job since her mother and her were working together. Then her mother dies and she is stuck feeling so alone . Until the day she is presented a way of getting out of her predicament . One night of being hunted by billionaires who want to dominate her and take her. She is trying to figure everything out and just wants to get through the night. Then Jack Thorne walks in , the phantom host of this night . He is powerful and honestly the most cunning . When Daisy breaks the rules it is time for him to step in and deal with her but will he be able to let the delicate flower go after he has her in his life.

   This is a very intense book Daisy and Jack have been through sooooo much. Daisy is as innocent as innocent can get . She is sweet and kind but is also really naive when it comes to the ways of the world . Underneath it all though she is a fighter and has a spine of steel when it comes to protecting herself . Jack is well he has had such a hard life , he was sold to a the age of 6 to a man with money . He was tortured and abused for most of his life . He only knew pain for the longest time until he finally gets away and finds the caring and love with an older woman of the night . Then Jack finally knows what it means to have a caring person to lean on. As they have grown up you see the scars of their past deeply embedded into their souls . Such emotional characters that you will love to hate . 

  This is one of  those books where honestly people can tell you about but you really aren't ready for the emotions that will bubble up as you read.  The characters are so well written and complex . You know you will love them and want to wrap them up in warm blankets and give them hot chocolate and tell them that everything will be ok. The author really does write some twisted stories . She puts her characters into situations that will break most people . I have actually shed a few tears through out this book. This is one of those books that will have you up all night and have you thinking about why it happened all night long . This can be read as a stand alone but be prepared for the triggers that might not bring up some feelings .

  Brooklyn is at again, she is hanging out with Pandora and honestly really not doing anything. Until the day a stranger dumps a magical orb that is going to destroy every living thing. The clock is ticking and the orb is not taking any names . It keeps slipping away from her cause it doesn't want to be stopped and if she does get it in her hands she doesn't really know how to stop it. So improvising it is , I mean what could go wrong. 

    Brooklynn is proving to be such a fun read. She is the best of both worlds a couch potato who would love just having lazy days at home to the firefighter helping out fight the fires that are springing up around Philli. She even finds a baby dragon that was setting fires in a restaurant. . Pandora is a great combination of Brooklyn. She is sassy and sweet and always trying not to get into trouble . They both love their friends with a passion. And really don't want to start the end of the world . We also get to see more of Brooklyn's mom and dad in this one. This is a family that you want to read and get to know. 

  

  This is such a fun read , Brooklynn and the gang are back and stronger and funnier than ever. This author has such a great grasp on each character that makes them complex . The worlds he paints are so much fun and you get sucked in so fast . I mean we have magical beings popping up all over Philadelphia like babe dragons in the ovens and so many more.. This whole series will have you laughing and turning pages all night . Check it out you will love this series .

                          MY REVIEW 

  The ladies are back and busier than ever , the big biker rally is only a few days away and the gang are working 24/7 getting ready and testing recipes for the breakfast burritos. Everything is going good there have been a few mishaps when the bikers get there. Like an over flirty mother oh and murder of three bikers that have happened around the campground and well by the dumpsters at Charlies restaurant. The gang need to keep a sharp eye out and survive the week . All good plans always come with a side of crazy family. .  There is also a romance blooming between Police chief Ray and Lauren which is so sweet.

      The ladies are back and having the best time ever working together. Jackie is still keeping everything together and Lauren is working hard and they are living the dream Melody is in school and thriving . We have Dawn thrown into the mix , she is well lets say she is trying some days are better than others but over all she is trying. . We also get to meet some very fun bikes that are all sweet and caring . I truly love these characters are like coming home by this time. Each of them is like a member of the family . 

   This is the fourth book in the series and I really liked a lot.  There is a lot that is going on and when you figure out you will be like oh wow how did the author do that. This is a fun cozy mystery that does pack a lot into it.  You know things continuously change but also stay the same . Every member of town is there to help you out when you need the help. So grab a sweet tea and snuggle down for a fun read .

                     MY REVIEW 

 The ladies of Charlie Joe's BBQ Shack are back with more going on then they can handle . When Melody's dad walks into the restaurant and wants to reconnect with the child he walked away from twenty some years ago. Jackie and Lauren are against it but Melody and her analytical mind want to figure out who her dad is and why he left her. But wait there is more going on than a reunion. Ryan seems off and then all the other people coming in casing out the restaurant. Can't figure out who is real or an enemy. With the help of Ray the police chief and Melody's mind and critical thinking the real reason will come to light and the family will need everything in their power to survive this one. 

 Lauren, Jackie and Melody are back the ladies have grown so much and become such a close knit family along with Jovi and Emma. They keep the restaurant running and the people fed. They have grown closer and stronger the more they are together .  Police Chief Ray is a sweet but tough man. He only has eyes for Lauren and wants to keep her and the others safe.  We get to meet two new people . Ryan , Melody's runaway father. He is kind of shifty and really doesn't have anyone's best interest at heart. He is well he is just not evil but will call him misguided , We also get to meet their mom at the end of the book and boy I can't wait to read what is up with her . She sounds like she is going to be a mess and I am there for it. Each character is well written and I can't wait to dive back into them. 

  This is book 3 in the series and honestly it gets a little dark with lots of suspense, deception and conspiracies.  The author takes us on a roller coaster ride that had me flipping pages all night. There are still some light hearted scenes to go along with all the suspense. This is a fun series that will have you cheering for the good guys and also kinda hungry by the time you are done. Oh I forgot to mention that the author posts a recipe mentioned in the book at the back of the story. There are some good recipes there. So if you want a fun book check out this series . I do suggest read the books in order to fall in love with these ladies .

  Brooklyn and the gang are back and Brooklyn is ecstatic about having a kid. Especially that the child is the spitting image of her. Brooklyn has inherited some powers that can be called demonic qualities from her father. She tries so hard to the right thing with her powers but Pandora is another thing she is a little devil acting just like Brooklyn when she was younger.  Then there is Lawrence asking for help from Brooklyn. When a psychic hit reveals how twisted the arsonist is . Brooklyn is now fully committed to finding the arsonist the only thing is that he knows she is coming. and she is scared for her friends cause they aren't fireproof

      Brooklyn and the gang are back , she is getting into being a mom and Pandora is surviving She is really having a time with Pandora cause she already knows her powers as Brooklyn didn't know what she was doing.I love how the characters are evolving and becoming more and more complex. Each character is complex and even the villians are creepy and complex 

   This is the fifth book and with each book the characters are more evolved . The author has such a talent for creating characters and world that are complex and always evolving and expanding.  This is a fun read that is a fast read.  I truly enjoyed this series and can't wait to read the last book in the series .

                       MY REVIEW 

 Ethan has a jolt the first moment he got off the plane in Los Angeles , He is there to meet Reese and Toby about a part in their new production after what happened in London. This was his only choice. Where he meets Arthur a talent manager with loads of clients but when he realizes that Ethan's good nature and sweetness is the real thing and Arthur can't take his hands off of him. But Ethan shakes up every thing and Arthur is trying not to be left in the wreckage. Can these two opposites find love .

  Ethan is the life of the party but after a bad time in London he was let go by his publicity managers and has to come home . He is a sweet guy with a fun personality.  There is also a sadness to him that he hides from everyone, he is so innocent but he hides it well . Arthur is more stoic and he hides his heart well , Such a hard worker who hides behind his hard working . I really like these two together they really balance each other out . We also get to see Reese , Toby and the rest of the gang .

  This story is kind of a complicated one. We hit a couple of heavy topics of homelessness and food insecurity.  The characters are fun to read and the author takes us on a quite a ride. This is a m/m romance with lots of twists and turns . I truly enjoyed this series and this author's style of writing . Check out this series if you love a good romance with more substance that will leave you wanting more.

                          MY REVIEW 

 Toby had a life changing week in Bali with a man named Spencer . What he didn't know was that Spencer is the one man he didn't want to let go of. So when they meet again in California they both are surprised and happy to see each other again. Things go from happy to sad in a short amount of time , When Spencer being sick and Toby having PTSD from some child hood trauma. Things get hairy when all these emotions come bubbling to the surface for Toby and life seems to fall apart around him, Will Spencer stick around and stand by him and will his friend and music writing partner be able to help him along with getting his own life in order . 

    Toby is Reese's best friend and music partner, he is well he is sexy and on the outside he comes off as a happy go lucky guy with a swagger and sometimes a chip on his shoulder. But inside he is one screwed guy. Things that happened to him when he was younger would make most of do what he did. You really feel for Toby and you want to wrap him up in a blanket and make him soup let him know that everything will be ok. Spencer is your good looking sweet guy who you want to tell your whole life story too. There is a sadness about him also. He doesn't really let anyone close enough to get to know him the real him.  Each of them are sweet but also broken but together they just might be good enough to hold on to each other and bring out the best 

  This is the second book in the series and a little more intense than book one . The characters are so well written and the story is unsettling at times but also you will cheer and applaud them. I truly like these characters and this series . It is a m/m romance that is a very good read and the author has a great way of writing that brings out the best of each character . So if you want a romance with a twist with wonderful characters that are flawed . Check out this series

 Reese and Jude or lets just call them the odd couple. Reese is a spirited man who just seems to screw things up most of the time . He is talented musician and a great musical director. Jude is well he is the organized one who has his life kind of in order but he is also kind of messed up and he is hiding the fact that he is gay from his religious family and is nervous to let them know . Together they are a mess but a mess that will fix itself in the end.  They are such fun characters and they really come into their own and show what you can do if you just trust and love the person that you are suppose to be with. 

  Reese and Jude or lets just call them the odd couple. Reese is a spirited man who just seems to screw things up most of the time . He is talented musician and a great musical director.   This is a m/m romp that will have you laughing all the way through. The characters are so well written you can't help but fall in love with them . The author has a style of writing that feels honest and easy to read . If you like characters that are opposites and well you know opposites attract this is the series for you . Check it out

                        MY REVIEW

  Welcome back to the salon, they have been working hard and then they take on a second case. When Timmy comes to them saying that the theater is cursed. They take the case after the police came up dry. Luna takes charge of the case and works hard at trying to figure out what is the curse is and trying hard to fight her feelings for Tim. She is going to try and figure out what happened trying anything to get to the realms . Luna and her new friends will get it figured out. If she doesn't figure it out the theater will shut down and the curse will spread . 

   This is Luna's book and she is one tough woman who will do anything to figure out what is going on. She is tough and smart She really goes through a lot while she is investigating the curse.  Tim is the man that comes into Luna's life and he is sweet and kind and wants his theater back. Together they are so cute and they work well together also. We also get to see Celsetine and the gang back and we get to see a new demon that needs to be taken down before he destroys everything 

    This book is the second in the series and honestly a little more intense than the first book. We get to see the characters really work hard and shine through out . The author switched the main character from Celestine to Luna and I honestly like Luna as a main character leading the investigation. This is a fast read with a little bit more intensity and more diving into native traditions and rituals with great depth. Which I enjoyed , so if you like a good urban fantasy check it out

                         MY REVIEW 

   Celestine is an earth witch and a wolf, she can do psychic drawings . Her and her art school friends and other beings . When her landlord and friend Ray is murdered and his eyes are stolen and his crew mates are also being murdered with their body parts missing . So Celestine and her friends are off to figure out what is going on and who is taking the body parts .Including a mermaid. Oryn and everyone to figure out and kill the lethal three eyed monstrosity that is going to wipe out Savannah. Will they be able to figure it all out in time 

  What can you say about Celestine and her friends. Each of them are special and unique . Celestine is an earth witch and a wolf shifter. She is powerful psychic who does automatic drawing and she can shift when she needs to .  She is sassy and and she has been through so much in her young life. Oryn is a fairy and is drop dead gorgeous and we we have we also get to meet Aline and and Riley . They are all strong characters and so well written. They work so well together and are all likable . 

   This is a fun fast read that I really enjoyed. I really enjoy a good urban fantasy and this one will keep you turning pages . The author takes us on a wild ride and we have witches, fae and mermaids all in the same book. There is also magical pirates and a swamp monster that will have you wondering what in heavens name is going on in Savannah. Check out this author I truly like her writing .

 Welcome back to the pack, Cole the youngest of the brothers and the pack enforcer. He is living life and loving hard until the day one of the humans he cares about gets murdered and he is arrested for the crime . He is let go and he is hurting inside and doesn't want to have to deal with any female . Until Kenzie comes to town to stay with her friend Tansy. Something shifts in Cole and he wants to get to know Kenzie but Kenzie is sworn off men of any kind after her run ins with her ex . But the attraction is hot and you can't deny your animal instincts when they are screaming MATE MATE MATE. Will they be able to figure out what they want before it is too late.

  Cole and Kenzie's book is full of heart ache and actually a little heart break . Kenzie is a fox shifter who is honestly tougher than she looks and is one that should not be mistaken for a pushover . Cole is a playboy who reputation precedes him. He loves life and the ladies but is yearning for some one that he can have a family with and have that one true love that his brother Zane has. Lilah really turns into a villian in this book. She is so determined to be Coles she does almost anything to get at both him and Kenzie. Until the moment Kenzie shows her who the boss really is . Lilah deserves what she got because she was such a witch . I absolutely loved these character .

     This was a slow burn story with some baggage added to it from both main characters . The story is pretty fast paced but I do wish we got to see Kenzie's ex come to town and go against Cole. Just to add an extra layer to the story line . I was so waiting for it through the whole book. I enjoyed this one a little bit more then I liked Zane's book . It took a bit more for them to come together than in Zane's book . I truly like this series and so want to read Ridge's book .
