 Reese and Jude or lets just call them the odd couple. Reese is a spirited man who just seems to screw things up most of the time . He is talented musician and a great musical director. But he is a mess most of the time . He can't seem to get his love life under control. He is trying to get himself together for those he wants to be around . Jude is well he is the organized one who has his life kind of in order but he is also kind of messed up and he is hiding the fact that he is gay from his religious family and is nervous to let them know . Together they are a mess but a mess that will fix itself in the end.  They are such fun characters and they really come into their own and show what you can do if you just trust and love the person that you are suppose to be with.

  Welcome back to the salon, they have been working hard and then they take on a second case. When Timmy comes to them saying that the theater is cursed. They take the case after the police came up dry. Luna takes charge of the case and works hard at trying to figure out what is the curse is and trying hard to fight her feelings for Tim. She is going to try and figure out what happened trying anything to get to the realms . Luna and her new friends will get it figured out. If she doesn't figure it out the theater will shut down and the curse will spread . 

   This is Luna's book and she is one tough woman who will do anything to figure out what is going on. She is tough and smart She really goes through a lot while she is investigating the curse.  Tim is the man that comes into Luna's life and he is sweet and kind and wants his theater back. Together they are so cute and they work well together also. We also get to see Celsetine and the gang back and we get to see a new demon that needs to be taken down before he destroys everything 

    This book is the second in the series and honestly a little more intense than the first book. We get to see the characters really work hard and shine through out . The author switched the main character from Celestine to Luna and I honestly like Luna as a main character leading the investigation. This is a fast read with a little bit more intensity and more diving into native traditions and rituals with great depth. Which I enjoyed , so if you like a good urban fantasy check it out

                         MY REVIEW 

   Celestine is an earth witch and a wolf, she can do psychic drawings . Her and her art school friends and other beings . When her landlord and friend Ray is murdered and his eyes are stolen and his crew mates are also being murdered with their body parts missing . So Celestine and her friends are off to figure out what is going on and who is taking the body parts .Including a mermaid. Oryn and everyone to figure out and kill the lethal three eyed monstrosity that is going to wipe out Savannah. Will they be able to figure it all out in time 

  What can you say about Celestine and her friends. Each of them are special and unique . Celestine is an earth witch and a wolf shifter. She is powerful psychic who does automatic drawing and she can shift when she needs to .  She is sassy and and she has been through so much in her young life. Oryn is a fairy and is drop dead gorgeous and we we have we also get to meet Aline and and Riley . They are all strong characters and so well written. They work so well together and are all likable . 

   This is a fun fast read that I really enjoyed. I really enjoy a good urban fantasy and this one will keep you turning pages . The author takes us on a wild ride and we have witches, fae and mermaids all in the same book. There is also magical pirates and a swamp monster that will have you wondering what in heavens name is going on in Savannah. Check out this author I truly like her writing .

 Welcome back to the pack, Cole the youngest of the brothers and the pack enforcer. He is living life and loving hard until the day one of the humans he cares about gets murdered and he is arrested for the crime . He is let go and he is hurting inside and doesn't want to have to deal with any female . Until Kenzie comes to town to stay with her friend Tansy. Something shifts in Cole and he wants to get to know Kenzie but Kenzie is sworn off men of any kind after her run ins with her ex . But the attraction is hot and you can't deny your animal instincts when they are screaming MATE MATE MATE. Will they be able to figure out what they want before it is too late.

  Cole and Kenzie's book is full of heart ache and actually a little heart break . Kenzie is a fox shifter who is honestly tougher than she looks and is one that should not be mistaken for a pushover . Cole is a playboy who reputation precedes him. He loves life and the ladies but is yearning for some one that he can have a family with and have that one true love that his brother Zane has. Lilah really turns into a villian in this book. She is so determined to be Coles she does almost anything to get at both him and Kenzie. Until the moment Kenzie shows her who the boss really is . Lilah deserves what she got because she was such a witch . I absolutely loved these character .

     This was a slow burn story with some baggage added to it from both main characters . The story is pretty fast paced but I do wish we got to see Kenzie's ex come to town and go against Cole. Just to add an extra layer to the story line . I was so waiting for it through the whole book. I enjoyed this one a little bit more then I liked Zane's book . It took a bit more for them to come together than in Zane's book . I truly like this series and so want to read Ridge's book .

   Zane has it all , the Beta of his pack and along with his two brothers are the leaders of the pack. He has it all good looks and charisma that all the ladies fall for . But he really isn't interested he wants to find his fated mate. Until the day Calista walked into his bar and they are instantly attracted to each other. Zane wants to figure out all her secrets and figure out if she is fated mate. But will they be able to figure out what they mean to each other before it is too late . 

  Zane and Calista are a couple that will have you swooning . Zane is an attractive beta with everything he ever wanted . He is such a good guy with a sense of nobility and strength that will have you swooning . Calista is a woman that is shrouded in secrets and is running from her past . She is more than just a pretty woman . They are such strong characters and they fit together so well . They compliment each other very well . We also get to meet Ridge the alpha and older brother and Cole the enforcer and the youngest. Each character is well written and has a strength that will have you reading all night. 

    I truly enjoyed this story, the author takes you on a ride. You get to see the way the couple comes together and find each other through some pretty tough odds .  The author has faes and wolves in this story and you get to see them in other realms . This is a fun read and you won't be able to put it down. So check it out .

   Welcome back to Prairie Rose Texas where the barbecue is good and the friendships are even better.  Jackie and Lauren and heading to a barbecue challenge. Where they are pitted against other barbecue joints around . But when someone dies at the challenge the FBI shows up and lets everyone know that Tex is still investigating the murder of his brother. And they won't stop at eliminating the three woman who stumbled into their biggest secret. Everyone is running out of time to figure out who done it . 

   The ladies are back and funnier than ever. Both Lauren and Jackie have improved the restaurant and themselves . They are really taking the barbecuing to a new level and are ready to do almost anything to have fun at it . Melody is expanding her horizons and doing great . She has a friend Aidean that is the way she is and they are so cute together. They are growing as characters and they are so much fun to read. 

   This is one of those books that is such a fun read . The characters are getting more complex . The author is having fun writing this series . I am really liking this series . I love the cozy mystery aspect of the story the author really loves to throw us so many red herrings and the twists and turns will keep you reading all night . Check out this series .

  When two sisters inherit a barbecue joint from their late uncle. Lauren and Jackie are brought to a small town to work and share the restaurant. When they find themselves embroiled in a mystery around their uncles death. Will they figure out what happened and with the help of Melody Jackie's daughter and the local police to figure out what is going on and find the hidden documents and other evidence before the killer comes after them. Prairie Rose Texas will never be the same 

   Jackie, Lauren and Melody are strong women that just don't back down from a problem . Jackie is a lawyer who is going through a divorce and needs a change but she can't come to terms with working with her estranged sister. Lauren is a sweet woman who is having a harder time of it than Jackie. She wants to make a real goal of the restaurant. Melody is sweet and kind and autistic. She strives for order and loves to figure out how to make the restaurant more efficient. We also meet a lot of fun interesting characters through out the book Jovie and Tate to name a few. Each character is well written and you really want to cheer for them . 

    If you like cozy mysteries this is a good one for you . I love reading cozy mysteries and this one had me from the first chapter . I couldn't put this book down . It is a fast read that had me finishing in one evening. The characters are well written and there are twists and turns through out the book that will have you going ahah. The author even through in a few red herrings in through out the book that had me guessing all the way through . So if you want a new cozy mystery author to read. Check her out

 When Vincent walks into a diner in his new town. He walks into the love of his life she is the owner of the diner . They start off as friends when Vincent brings back Sarah's horse . The second in command is trying hard not to involve her in his lifestyle  but her sweetness and kindness win her over . But things are not what they seem when she goes to his boss she opens up a world she never knew and wanted . When she finds out that her brother is alive and wants revenge on Vincent and the crew. 

      Vincent and Sarah's story is one of second chances and an overpowering attraction . Sarah is a sweet sunshine girl who is fun and cheerful . She brings Vincent out of his self imposed funk. Vincent is a well he is a brooding sexy man who is living with a past of guilt and tragedy. They are such polar opposites but they work together. They need each each other like they need air. They are very well written and they are complex . 

    This is a really good mafia romance , that has a lot of action and sexy times and the author really takes us on a roller coaster ride of emotions . Each story is intense with some laughs through out the story . I truly like this author's writing and I can't wait to see the next story in the series . If you like mafia romance this is the book for you .

 Welcome back to Tupelo and the Storm Reavers compound . Where things are always happening and peace just seem to want to happen. Someone is about to come and set things in motion that will change Reaper's life . Sage an ADA comes to the compound with a file that will set everything in motion for a war. There is more to just the up coming war. Sage is about reignite the love that she left five years ago to go to school. Reaper was the one that let her go and regretted it everyday since. Now he is taking no prisoners , she will not be leaving and they will be back together. Nothing will separate them again. 

   This is Reaper's and Sages book and boy does it get sexy . Sage is the one woman that took Reaper's heart. She is oh so sassy and honestly a little bit of a brat sometimes. She is as stubborn as a mule and can't admit that she loves Reaper . Reaper is well he is a brooding sexy man who after five years decides it it time to make Sage his for always . He is a man of action and has a fierce sense of protection to those he cares about . Yes they do butt heads a few times an it is so fun to see that. We also get to see Sophie and Rogue and the rest of the crew.  Oh and we get to meet a truly evil man who wants to end Reaper . Savage is the leader of a rival mc and they want to systematically take over Storm Reavers territory. He knows Reaper and he wants to destroy him because of what happened when they were in the military . He blames Reaper for all his problems . He is psychotic and wants to take everything away.  

 Ok going to give you a warning , this is one book that is high on romance times and has a lot more violence than book one.  The second chance romance is the sweet part of this book . The author really puts them through it . But like all other love stories , love over comes all even the evil that comes from a man who thinks he has been wronged . If you want a fast paced second chance romance set in the world of bikes sexy men who will protect those  they love with everything . Check out this series you will want to hang out with these bad boys

  Good afternoon my peeps yes I am back with book 5 . This afternoon I have for you  ROGUE'S REDEMPTION book one in the Storm Reavers series by Beth Hale.

                         MY REVIEW  

 When Rogue an enforcer for the Storm Reavers , he just let himself do what needed to be done for five years. After his best friend died in his arms over in Syria. Rogue has felt nothing until the day that he has to take care of someone that is getting too close to the club and the sorted things that go on . Once he sees her , she sets things off that will push him over lines that he never thought he would ever cross to help save her .Also help heal the ache in his heart from watching his best friend die with the bullet that was meant for him. 

   Rogue is a tough as nails enforcer that has had a sorted past , he is grieving for his best friend and really kind of dead inside. He is tough as nails on the outside but he is torn on the inside.  Sophia is a a journalist who is just as tough as Rogue. She is gutsy and sassy and when she is onto a story she doesn't let go. They are thrown together but they are honestly meant to be together. They are both strong but when it comes to it they are the strongest when they are together. 

   This is the first book in the series and the author did a good job portraying club life and what it takes to be part of that world. This was another fast read that combines intrigue and romance that had me flipping the pages . This book can be read in an evening . So check it out and cuddle up with a club member .

BOOK 4 OF READER ROUND UP

    Good morning peeps we are already on book 4 of reader round up . Today I have for you book 3 in the Guardian Agency series by Ursula Sinclair. WINE AND ROSES .

                        MY REVIEW 

 Eboni is on Simon's mind ever since the night they had a one night stand. When he saw her again and his buddies wedding things reignite. Eboni witnessed a shooting that has put her life endangered and Simon is the only person that can keep her safe. Together they are off to Montana where they rekindle a flame but will they survive to keep that flame lit. 

 

  This is Eboni's and Simons story and it is packed full of action and romance . Eboni is a sweet but oh so stubborn woman who is guarding her heart from the one man that could destroy it.  Simon well he is just a walking stick of sin who is confident but also very broken in some ways with what happened to his past. They are in a fight for their lives and Simon will do anything to keep Eboni safe. They are such a fun couple to read, each strong in their own right but together they are unstoppable. 

 

   This story is a little bit more intense then the other two books in the series . It has more of an intense catch em element to it . There is romance scenes also and two people destined to be together but really don't want to admit it.  The author adds some great tension in the story . This can be read as a stand alone but if you want to be introduced to the other characters I would read the other stories to get to know everyone. Another fast read for your March evenings .

 River Blu has it all a great musical talent and she is a rock star that is dominating the charts . She has her secrets that are haunting her and she will not give her heart to just anyone. When her life is in danger she calls the only person she knows that can help keep her safe . Noah he will do anything to keep the woman he loved safe and figure out who is trying to kill her. 

   This is a second chance romance entwined with a mystery. River Blu is a rock star who is hiding secrets from her past. She is a woman who is so confident and knows what she wants. Until the day Noah a confident vet who is running an guardian agency . He is sharp and reliable in a white hat come to the rescue kind of guy . Together they are hot and you want to be friends with them. They are strong characters which are on the verge of being complex . 

  This book is a good sexy fast read that you can read in an evening. The characters are well written and you will really like the story line and yes there are some good romantic times through out the book . This is the first book I have read from this author and I think i will be checking out more of her books

                         MY REVIEW

 Well Brooklyn is just not having a good week. All she wants to do is her job but strange things are making it very difficult to do so. Between fires and all the magical stuff that has been happening around her . How can a half demon relax. When Ashley is kidnapped, Brooklyn is led down a path where she is caught by the ones that want to bring on the end of the human race and when all things are done . We now have a mini me that the warmongers think will destroy everything. But with Brooklyn things aren't as straight forward as one thinks. Will she be able to find mini me before they do and will she be able to keep everyone safe . 

   Poor Brooklyn is really going through it and she is trying so hard to keep it together. She is strong willed and will protect those she loves with every ounce of her being. She admits she is pretty lazy at times but when friends are in peril she is there to help out . Tracy and Ashley her neighbours are well they seem to bring out the laughter and the mother in Brooklyn. Ashley is getting into her fair share of problems especially when it comes to reheating food in a rune machine. You have to read to figure out what happens but it has to do with chinese food .  Each character is getting more and more complex . 

  This book is just a hoot to read, the author has just a way of combining magic, mayhem and lightheartedness into a book that will grab you by the heart and keep reading until the end .Yes you have to read the books in order but they are a fast read that will keep you giggling and feeling for the main character and everything that is dumped on her . So if you want a fun read that will keep you going check it out
