Good morning my peeps , we are on the second last day of reader round up. Today we are heading to college and E.A Weston's book UNWRITTEN.
BOOK BLURB
Jett Miller, Captain of the Mavericks hockey team doesn’t do relationships. College is hard enough with hockey and studying. He has no time for chicks that want to take selfies, know his deepest secrets, or those that want more than one night. Until he finds himself locking lips with the one person he’s always disliked, Amber, the one chick he was good at avoiding, who used date one of his team mates. Clearly, he didn’t think that one through because now he’s had a taste, he can’t stop thinking about it. When he learns that she’s on the prowl to hook up, he promises to watch out for her, but the last thing he expected was to have her in his bed. Two adults. One night. No Strings. But one night is not enough for him and now he’s determined to have Amber in his bed every night, maybe she isn’t as stuck-up as he thought and maybe a relationship is just what he needs.
MY REVIEW
Jett Miller a hockey star and college senior really doesn't do relationships. He has to concentrate on his classes and really isn't interested in a long term relationship. That is until he meets Amber and ends up kissing her. Once he has a taste he wants more . Amber is not ready for a relationship after what happened in the summer. They have a one night stand and things change . Jett wants more and Amber is scared but willing to try. Will this be the relationship that they both deserve and need .
Jett is your typical alpha, he is arrogant and self absorbed but there is a soft side to him and he is more aware of what is going on around him . He just wants to find a sweet girl that doesn't take selfies and aren't self absorbed . Someone that he can have a conversation with and honestly love with his heart. Amber is a fun loving girl who is like sunshine but there is a sadness about her and she is gun shy about relationships. She is fun but also tough as she takes a lot from Jett's team mates on and off the ice . The guys on the hockey team and Amber's best friend keep Jett and Amber on the straight and narrow to get together. Each character is well written and you feel like you get to know them and their feelings very well through out the book.
This is a easy read that you can read in an evening . There is romance and a misunderstanding oh and parents that well aren't the best . The characters are well written and you start to fall for both of them and want to cheer for them as the navigate the trials of being together. This would be a good book for your winter reading list . Check it out if you love hockey players and the woman who can melt the ice for them .
