   Good afternoon my peeps , sorry I haven't been around summer on the farm has been busy and I mean busy this summer. Today I have for you book 2 in the The Lady and the Blade series . BENEATH HIS BLADE by Hp Mallory

                        MY REVIEW 

  Guinevere has been captured by King Arthur and is now imprisoned at Camelot.  Arthur wants to claim her , Lancelot just honestly wants to forget her and his love for her. Covin will do anything to have her even burn down the world for her. She is trying to figure out what she should do , it seems that a piece of her belongs to each man. But when a forbidden magic starts to awaken , Guin is forced to navigate a web of darkness that has her questioning loyalty , betrayal and the desire that is building and not loosing herself in the desire each man has for her .

   Guin is a strong woman who is just a beacon on how to do things to keep her sanity in the court, she is strong but also soft in so many ways . She is basically the heart of this book and you really want her to come through everything ok. Her strength has her best and worst trait. She fights a silent battle for the men who want to control her. You really see her growth through out the book. You really start cheer for her and love her. 

 This is a story of what can happen when your power is there and will help you out . There is such a perseverance of character and when push comes to shove your inner strength will come through and get you through the bad times and help you navigate the darkness . This is a big book that is steeped in legends and lore and such a new twist on the Camelot lore . I would read book one before venturing deeper into this story.  It is a great read and I love the lore and the darkness  that is is evolving through out this series . Lets see where she takes them in future books . This will be a great read for the winter reading list .
