MY REVIEW
Kaitlyn has run away from her father for years. She found a safe place with a Memphis family. She worked as a maid for them. As time passes she finally feels safe in her new home until the day Antonio's parents are killed and Antonio has to stepped in to run the family. They have been dancing around each other for years . Kaitlyn past is coming back to haunt her. When she is attacked her past comes back and Antonio needs to step up protect what is his . What will he do keep Kaitlyn safe and figure out who is doing this to him and if his brothers are to blame for the past coming back to haunt them. Will they be able to find the love that they deserve or will the past come back and keep them apart.
Kaitlyn is a tough as nails woman, who has had a very hard life. She is tough and sassy but there is a sweet innocent that wants to be loved and safe. Antonio is a tough as nails gangster who actually has a soft side. He helps those in need and he doesn't let anyone know. He is in love with Kaitlyn but wants to keep her safe. They are sweet couple and they really for each other. We watch them change and become more and more complex . His brothers are well what can i say. They are at each others throats through out the book. Vincent is his right hand man and he is a grouchy bear but he is the man that you want in your corner he is the strong silent type of man who would move heaven and earth to keep you and those you love safe.
This is one of books that you will snuggle down and read with a good a glass of wine The characters are well written and complex . You will love to hate them all. This is the first book I have read from this author and I really like her writing style and her characters . It is a fast read that will keep you reading and I can't wait to read more from this author . This will be a good add for fall reading list.
