Good morning my peeps , sorry i have been mia but it is cold here on the farm and we have been getting ready for the cold snap. Today is release day for one of my favourite authors. Linda Thomas-Sundstrom and her latest book MOONSTONE.
BOOK BLURB
Magic and Moonlight in the Superstition Mountains...
MY REVIEW
When Jenny and her two girl friends take a trip to the mountains in Colorado for a girls trip. She brings along the beautiful necklace that was sent to her by a secret admirer. What she didn't know was that necklace was a powerful talisman that would bring her to the man of her dreams and let her see what he was in the dark on a full moon. They are put in a scary situation with hunters that seem to be hunting the wolves on the mountain . Will the man she met on the trail be able to keep her safe and will they be able to deny the chemistry that is happening between them .
Well we have such fun characters in this story. Jenny who is a sweet woman who wants to find out what the moonstone does and why can she call to the mystery man she met on the mountain. She is a gutsy woman who will do almost anything to figure it all out even putting herself in danger to help out Matt, who is having a hard time forgetting the woman who blew into his life . He can't get enough of her and has this uncontrollable urge to protect her. He is actually the strong silent type that can melt you into a puddle with one word or one action. He has the world on his shoulders and also a secret that if gotten out could end his life. These characters are so well written and I love the tension that they have when they are around each other . Then we get the comic relief of Jenny's two best friends Mandy and Robin. They do bring some comic relief to them when things go wrong and they can't figure out what the heck is going on.
This is one of those stories that you will sit down and read all in one sitting . I did that . This author has a way of writing that will suck you in to the story and keep you turning the pages until you are finished. The characters are well written and diverse. You will fall in love with each and everyone of them. So if you want a good book with lots of tension check it you will love it and its a great book for a cold evening
