   Good morning my peeps , hope you are having a good groundhog day. Winter on the farm is so much fun right now anyone want to go ice skating down my drive way. A good reason to stay inside and read a good book. Today I have for you a new series by Lydia Michaels. HUSH DARLING

                         MY REVIEW

    Wendy Darling is a woman of privilege being trapped in a gilded cage by her parents . She is trapped and wanting out. Peter Pangboum might just be the man to help her. Together they escape and he takes her to New Lands a billionaire play ground where there are no laws . She finds herself stranded and at the mercy of Peter. Until pirates land on the island and with John Hook kidnapping Wendy and is planning to use her to attack his brother. John wants to destroy Wendy and Wendy wants to save John's soul. Will anyone win and will hearts survive the fight that is to come. 

 This is one of those books where you think you are cheering for the right man but it turns out that you were wrong . Peter and John have been through so much, being orphaned at a young age and taken to an orphanage that well isn't what it suppose to be. They grow up and become very hardened and a little twisted in what they think love is . Peter had it better than John in ways . John was left at the orphanage where he was subjected to so much depravity . This formed the hardness that drives him. 

  Wendy is a princess she comes from money and hasn't really done anything in her life. She has been doted on since she was a child. She is a bit naive but does want to get out and live life of freedom with out the stuffy rules of her privileged family. These three characters are so different from each other . You don't know who to cheer for. You will really enjoy them because they are very complex.

  This is a dark retelling of Peter Pan with a dark edge to it . The author takes these characters and puts them through it. Each character is well written and you get invested in them. You can't put this book down, you will get lost in the New Lands and the new Lost boys. So if you want a dark romance for your Valentine's day check out this book . You will be left wanting more  of sexy John Hook .
