                               MY REVIEW 

 Shelby is Marley's best friend since school. When she is asked to be in Marley's wedding she is excited and kind of scared. Ever since that fateful night in college she has sworn off men. But when she meets Bo at the airport things start of prickly, there is an attraction but both of them have a past that they need to work through. Things are happening so fast as they try and figure out what being in each others lives means and also getting ready for a wedding . Oh yeah they are still trying to figure out why a terrorist group want with Marley. 

    Shelby is a sweet woman with a tragic past . From the abuse she had from her father and then not being the it girl in college. It has left deep scars on her soul and has broken her trust in all men. There are moments that she does come off as a little bit naive and sheltered but underneath that there is a woman that has the strength to get through all the worst in her life to find happiness that she does deserve. Bo is a good ole boy that is hiding the pain of being a pow. He hasn't had a real relationship just a bunch of one night stands and that is the way he prefers it. He is hiding a hurt. He is one of those guys that can come off as bossy but only wants what is good for the ones he loves . 

   This is the second book in the series and we get to dive into Shelby and Bo and understand more of what has happened to both of them. The author did a good job in entwining their story with Luke and Marley's keeping them separate but keeping the story going with the kidnapping and the brotherhood. Just a couple of things that I think were dragging just a little was the over use of sweet girl. I also wished that she would of expanded the Roscoe and Bo always scrapping just a little . Over all I did enjoy this book and I think you would also. I will tell you there are triggers in this book, especially abuse . But if you can put that aside check it out you will not be disappointed.

                           MY REVIEW 

   Ainsley hasn't always had a great life from the beginning. Her home life became dangerous and living on the street was no better. Until the day she figured out that she was great with computers and hacking. Then STARR came into the picture and wanted her, the only thing that she had to do was leave her old life behind. Which she was willing to do.  Her unique talents help bring down drug rings and human trafficking ring around the world.  One day while hunting through the dark web she meets shadow another hacker and also another company that is bringing down  the traffickers . When they meet things start to spark up but will they be able to bring down the ring and make it out alive. 

  Ainsley and Kason are a hot couple . They both feel like they are outsiders and both have been in not so good relationships and past lives . Ainsley is a strong willed woman who has been through so much in her life . She doesn't want other young women and children to go through the same thing as she did. She is also sassy and free spirited. She has intrigued Kason in so many ways. Kason is an ex sniper who hasn't had the best child hood either and he is working hard to stop what happened to him happen to others . They both are working on the same side when it comes to stopping the enemy. The characters are very well written and you feel for them through out the story.

   This is one of those stories that has some great characters that are well written and complex. The author takes us on an adventure that has us going down a few dark areas of the web.  There is also a lot of romantic shenanigans that go on through out this book. I did wish the author would of dived more into the whole trafficking thing and them bringing them to an end and maybe just a little less of the bed room shenanigans that when on.  Over all I did enjoy this book and if you like suspense and romantic times this book will be great for fall reading list

  There is something sinister going on in Harlowe Parish and Evie has come back with her sisters ashes and a vendetta to whoever did this to her . They called it an accident but she knows that it wasn't . Autopsy paper work doesn't lie. She has six names and each of them will be crossed off the list . When she meets Silas who was a monster at one time . He killed for family until the day he turned on them . Now he is back wants violence and Evie wants vengeance together they will survive. 

     Evie wants the truth on what was done to her sister . She is a whirlwind and is like a grim reaper doling out vengeance on those that took her sisters life and the lives of the women before her.  She is a dangerous woman hell bent on righting wrongs . She knows she might die but she is willing to get the truth out there. Silas is well he is a monster but what he is doing is righting the wrongs of his past. He is dark and kind of scary in so many ways. When they meet it is like a tornado coming down on you. Their relationship is dark, messy dangerous and so intense. Such well written characters and very complex 

  This is a Southern Gothic story of basically 2 lost souls looking for vengeance on those that wronged so many people. The author has a such a classic story telling style. The characters are well written and you know that they are evil. This is such a good story that will have you reading well into the night. Will be a good story for your halloween reading list

                        MY REVIEW 

 Theadora is a physic who can communicate with the dead but it has left her penniless . Until the day a mysterious person invites her to do a seance in the Scottish highlands . A invitation she shouldn't refuse . When she arrives and finds out it the man she loved and lost five years ago. Now basically trapped in the castle Callum pleads his case that he needs help to fight his vengeful dead wife's ghost and figure out how she died all on Halloween. She knows she should run but he has a power over her that can't be denied.  Will they figure out the mystery and will their love finally be valid. 

   Theadora is one tough cookie, she ca communicate with the dead but there is something that has happened in her past that she has hidden . When push comes to shove she is the one that holds everything together and makes everything right . Callum is one of the characters that you don't really know if he is a bad guy or a good guy that will do what needs to be done to fix the problem. He is kind of arrogant and there are moments you want to slap him up the side of the face. But he will burn the world down for the one woman he loves . He is fiercely protective and a tad overbearing . These two are wonderful together and compliment each other very well. They are well written and complex .

   This is one of those books that when you start you really don't know where the author is going to take you . The story has quite a few twists and turns through out and you aren't real sure how it is going to end . I was up late into the night reading this book and it had all the feels spooky, romantic and on the edge of your seat excitement.  This would be a great book for your Halloween reading list . If you like dark gothic romance check it out . Theo and Callum will suit your needs .

                       MY REVIEW 

Luke is the head of Invictus securities and one day when his brothers and him head out to lunch he watches the woman he is infatuated with working hard . He has it bad for her because she sees him for who he is and not the man in the wheelchair. When he found her crying one day she needs protecting and he is the one that will protect her. Things go darked than just her loosing her job.  They find out that what is happening is a terrorist attack that will cause chaos for everyone. Will they be able to keep Marley safe and along with saving the love they share. 

   Luke and Marley are such an interesting couple. Luke is a self made man that even though he is in a wheel chair has a air about him that is all about don't mess with me. Underneath the tough exterior he is a sweet guy who just wants to have a love that understands him and wants to be with him for him. 

   Marley is a fun loving woman who loves life and wants to fall in love with a sweet man. She does have a issue with trying to do things for herself. Her stubborn streak is a mile wide and she hates to ask for help at any time. She does get on your nerves a little bit through out the book. Over all she does redeem herself towards the end . 

  Each of these characters are well written but I think the author could of made them more complex as the story went on. We also get to meet the brothers and sister . Each character was written well. 

 This is one of those books that you can read in a day. There is a story within a story and you will have a good time with it. I do believe this is a really good story with insta love theme but i did drag a little through out the book. Over all I did enjoy this book and i think you would also. So check it out for your fall and winter reading list

  The call has been called and the battle is starting. The blood will be spilt but who's blood will 

it be. Zoey is hunting for someone and she isn't the only one. Colleen is on the run but if the 

fractions come to war disdain is high and blood is about to spill. Who will rise and who will 

fall and how much blood will be spilled 

    There are so many characters in this book, all the couples from the other books in the series

and they are ready to fight . Each set of characters come together to fight for what is right.

 Zoey is tough but also sweet and she wants to get the job done. Colleen is well you can't 

really trust her. She wants to take it all . They fight like there is no tomorrow and only one will

survive, These characters are very well written and complex . I love that the authors brought 

all the characters back for one epic battle of good and evil. 

   This is a story that would be good if you knew all the players that are in the books . The 

authors really built a great world of good and evil. I truly enjoyed this story but there were

moments where it felt like it kind of slowed down . This is a good series to read in your fall 

and winter list check it out

  Sarah was walking home one evening and a random act of violence sends her into a fight for her life with long ago emotions that are coming back. She fights for her life as a madman is wanting to hurt her. Mark Summers is a security person that will do anything to keep her safe. but when the truth comes out and they are both running from their pasts will they be able to keep their lives and their love entacted. And keep the future that they want entact. 

    Sara is a strong woman who is hiding a past that is full of sorrow and trauma. She relies on no one but herself but that changes one night. When she is pushed and fights back. She really is a strong willed woman who kind of sabotages herself most of the time. Mark Summers is an ex cop , a good guy who does mess up every now and then. He wants to help Sara out but they are both constantly getting in each others way. Mark comes off a few times as an alpha he man a bit but he just wants to keep the ones he cares about safe. These two are wonderful flawed characters that grow as they realize that they do love and need each other. 

   This is a book that is haunting and has triggers of abuse and miscarriage and surviving to come out the other side. The author writes a story of redemption and healing and finding love through the chaos. The only bad thing I have to say is that in a few areas it kind of dragged a bit but over all I truly enjoyed this book and the suspense it held . A good book for your fall evening reading list , check it out

 Ava Vangeretta isn't your average seventeen year old. She is different and has the power of all five elements. She is a true Elementris the first one born in a long time. As her eighteenth birthday comes up she has to make a decision does she want to give up her powers and have a life a normal life or accept her fate and   challenge the current Elementris to a battle to the death. She has to figure out if love is a dangerous curse. Will Ava's decision threaten the lives of those who love and she loves . Can she truly between love and friendship 

   Ava is a sweet girl who is trying to come to terms with her magic and if she should really keep her magic. She was left alone when her mom couldn't handle what she has become . She has a inner fight with herself and when her friend Brea is trouble she helps her out with a protection spell. She becomes a fighter for those she cares for and when push comes to shove she will do whatever it takes to save those she loves . She has a cast of characters that surround her and help her. Alec is you typical guy who will help you out when he can but there is something that you just can't really trust him, Each of these characters are well written and they grow as the story moves on. I can't wait to see where the author takes them in up coming books. 

   This is a good read that I read in an evening. The author keeps us entertained and flipping pages . I like the way the author uses the elemental side of witch craft and calls the natural part of the craft. We also get to see how a teen can handle the pressure of what is to come. This could be a great book to read with your older teen and you for the fall and winter reading list 

   Good afternoon peeps , well yesterday was a blog bust for an arc but today I have for you GHOST BLACK book 3 in the Daughters of Mars series by Matthew S. Cox.

                                MY REVIEW 

    After years of trying to free Mars , Rissa is trying to walk away but she isn't going to walk away clean. Her bosses won't let her go that easily. Both sides want her dead . She has to make a deadly decision, save her daughter's life by killing her best friend or disarm the bombs and let her child die. 

   Rissa is back and fighting for her life in the war on Mars. She is tired and just wants to live her life with Pavo and Kree. But her duty is to figure out how to stop the war and try to live a life with the little family she created. She is a tough as nails and just wants to find the ones she loves . We get to see past characters from other books come into play through out the book. They are all really complex and well written. You really get to have an front row seat to see them in action.  I really love these characters and how they have grown since book one. 

    This is such a fun series to read. Ghost Black ties up the characters stories quite nicely. The author really writes such epic worlds and the characters in each world become so very complex .  This should be read in order but the books fly by so fast that you will be in book 3 in no time . If you like a good fantasy book check it out this series is a great fun read for your fall and winter reading list.

                        MY REVIEW

 Elissa is an elemental mage and has been raised in the castle for as long as she remembers. When the dark mage kills her family she doesn't understand how she survived. But, when the king learns she is alive she is taken to Glenwald in the guise of finding a husband. When she is under the protection of Sir Alissadar Kearney . He isn't really sure what to think of being a nursemaid to the beautiful Elissa . He has to guard her with his life but who is going to guard his heart from the beautiful lass. 

     Elissa is a sweet character and she is sweet an innocent and can charm most people. There is more to her also she is an elemental mage in control of all four elements and is sought after by those who wield dark magic.  Alissadar is a knight and he is kind of full of himself sometimes like all knights are. He is strong and wants to have Elissa but he doesn't think he should but through it all he stays with her and keeps her safe. These characters are well written but I do feel they can become more complex with each book that comes out. 

  I didn't realize when I started this book that there was a couple books ahead of it . It makes sense now, that I was kind of lost at the beginning. The author does paint a fun picture of lords ,ladies and knights. There are moments during the book where it just seemed to lag a little but over all I did enjoy the book and the characters . This would be a good read for those rainy days.

                                       MY REVIEW 

      Nonie a seventeen year old prodigy has made Lieutenant in the USEF program and is sent on a mission that takes her to an alien planet . But Nonie finds herself stranded on the USEF ship the Pioneer 

forty years in the past with legends that she has learnt of .  When she she meets Captain Kieran Wildason she feels compelled and drawn to him.  She can't interfere with his time line because she could destroy each of them. Now she is stuck between time lines and has become the anchor point that both the future and the past depend on. 

    Nonie is a sweet character but is also as tough as nails . She is trying to figure out what she should do

when she is stuck between the two worlds the past and future. She comes to terms with what is happening  while she is fighting to protect the past and the future.  Kieran is a hero in her life from the future. He is a good guy who commands attention but only wants what is right . They are a good team and they really do have a good way of communicating and helping each other . They are well written and have room to grow and become more complex through out the book. 

  This is one of those stories that has fun characters , intrigue , aliens and time jumps into the past . The author has written a fun story with wonderful characters . It is a long book but as you read it , it doesn't feel like it is a long read. i truly enjoyed this story and the characters but I did feel like in some areas it did drag just a little . Not enough to take me out of the book but it was there. Over all this was a great book and I think your teens would like to read . So if you want a book you and your teen can read this fall and winter season
