  Good morning all . hope everyone is staying warm if you are plunged into the deep freeze like I am .  Today we are going to review book three in the Consequences series . CONVICTED by Aleatha Romig .

                          MY REVIEW 

     Claire and Tony may have their lives back on track and a baby on the way , living on their island they just might have the love and life they want back. But like all good things it will come crashing down around you . With a evil game master pulling the strings , Claire is thrown into a constant nightmare that she cant come out of . With time running out on Claire and Tony  will they be able to have their happily ever after or will the game master have the last laugh . 

    Ok I must say I truly have come around and I am liking Tony , I truly disliked him through out the series but in this book he has redeemed himself in my eyes . He is still over bearing and oh so alpha man , but we do get to see softer side of him . The side that will melt your heart and shed a tear every now and there .  He does kind a wear his heart on his sleeve in some parts of the book especially when they are on the island . Claire wow what can I say about Claire . She really grew a back bone in the last book . She is such a great characters , she has gone from a weak scared mouse to a lioness of a woman . Who can be tough but also soft and sweet when the time calls for it .There are so many supporting characters that are either good or evil . Some people you just don't know if you can trust them or not . Catherine well she is just evil and I kind a cheered when she got what she got . 

    This is one book and one series that you can't put down . The characters are diverse and complex . You will love them or hate them it depends on the part of the book you are reading . The author takes us on a very emotional roller coaster ride through out this book.  I really had an ugly cry through out this book and the whole series . You can't help but fall in love with Claire and Tony . even though I hated Tony in the first book and half . There is plenty of angst , misunderstandings , game playing and oh yes lots of hot sexy romance that will keep you reading all night long . This is a series that will keep you reading all night long and cheering for the characters . Check it out and put it on your to be read list . You will not be disappointed .

                       MY REVIEW 

  What do you do when you are sitting on the beach minding your own business and the hottest man you have ever seen walks out of the mist . Totally naked and stunning . You panic and run . That is what happened to Tess when Marduk walked out of the mist . She is attracted to the big man but is nervous and not real sure if she can trust and believe his story . Like any good romance there is lots of flirting , running from demons and getting captured . Yes I said demons both hers and his, which they have to over come to even think of their happily ever after . 

    There are so many hot sexy men in this book ok let me say they are immortal Gods . Marduk is the god of thunder  and he is oh so yummy. Tall, dark and oh so handsome . There is more to him , he is also sweet and funny and will do anything to protect his little mouse , his mate. the woman that is his all .  Enlil , the god of the wind is the total opposite of Marduk . He is tall blonde , still sexy as sin and also as sweet as can be at times . Tess well she is sweet and kind but also hiding some demons that have plagued her . She is straight laced and has over come so much . You will really like her and at times you will want to hug her and tell her everything will be ok . Then the next moment you are cheering her on while she kicks some butt .  Trust me you will love the characters and you will have your pick of hunky Gods to fawn over . 

   This is the first book I have read by this author, I was pleasantly surprised on how much I liked it . The author takes us on an adventure that has some twists and turns that will leave you wanting more .  The characters are well written and the story is well written . The author did a good job melding the back story and the action that was happening pretty seamlessly . There was just a couple of spots that seemed to drag just a little but it doesn't take away from the story . Over all I truly enjoyed the story and can't wait to read the rest of the stories . So if you want a hot read for your cold winter evening this is the one for you .

   Good Monday all, I hope you all survived the weekend and if you got snow you stayed warm inside . Today we are going to review the last book in the Roadhouse Chronicles book 3 . DEAD MAN'S NUMBER by Matthew S Cox .


                            BOOK BLURB

                        MY REVIEW 

     After finding a quiet place to stay Kevin, Tris and Abby are truly living a good life . With people that are starting to mean a lot to them . They are doing well until the day a message comes to Tris and sends them on a mission to end the virus for good . Kevin and Tris are heading into the lions den . Will they get back to Abby and will they end the virus for good . Or will they finally end up becoming one of the infected . 

    I will say that the characters have truly evolved and you will absolutely love Tris and Kevin in this book. Tris is well she has become even more kick butt . You see a side of her that is a loving mother with Abby but then when it comes to fighting she will kick your butt.  The biggest growth is from Kevin , we go from seeing him as a loner in the first book to a family man who is in love with Tris and will do what ever needs to be done to keep Abby safe and secure . He is the one that has grown up the most and honestly has the most to loose if things go bad. We get to finally meet the evil Nathan and I honestly cheered when he got what was coming to him . Abby, I just wanted to wrap her up in a blanket and hold her tight and tell her everything is going to be ok. I have a feeling that she was suffering some PTSD in this book. She couldn't help but worry about what was going to happen. She didn't want to die and needed the love to help her through. You will love her and want to keep her safe. 

    This was a bittersweet story , it is the last book in the series and I so didn't want the series to end . The author weaved a story that will keep you reading all day long . The author has expanded the world the characters are in . Adding even more obstacles for them to conquer . There is such an intensity with these books , even though the author is ending the series he doesn't stop the action through out the book. You can see the characters have changed and grown and want the virus to stop . They want to survive  and just live . The ending will have you cheering and also you might throw your kindle a couple of times . Over all you will read a story that will have you turning pages all night long . So if you want a really good dystopian story that has a really different twist on the zombies and have a story with a happy ever after and a hope for the future this is the series for you .

                          MY REVIEW 

  Welcome back to the ranch, Jessie and Josiah are working hard at her business and the ranch . When Jessie hires a new hire named Piper . McCracken as her personal assistant  Piper is ready to take on small town life until she blurts out that she is a mail order bride for a shy cowboy . Cole Dart .  Between the meddling cocky old lady , romance reading men . fake news and a display of the funniest drunken karaoke ever . Piper thinks that Fortuna is plumb twisted crazy . When Cole and Piper come up against her ex fiancé , stalker . They grow closer and Cole feels he needs to protect Piper from all . Will they get their happily ever after or will Justin and his scheming rip them apart for good . 

  This is the second book in the series and most of the characters from book one are back with some new members of the party . Piper is well lets just say she comes off as a mouse and scared of her own shadow at the beginning . Like all good characters we see her really start to grow and become a cocky cow girl that fits right in with the rest of the clan at the Double D ranch. She does have her man I am a stupid woman moments through out the book which makes her even more realistic in my eyes . Cole well Cole has been put through the wringer . Coming back from cancer all he wants is his family and to work again. He is sweet but also so shy when it comes to certain things . He is also very protective of those he loves and takes care of . I just wanted to hug him and tell him every thing will be ok . 

Now Justin well I just wanted to slap him and make him go away . He is creepy and gets creepier as the story goes on . You just can't trust him in any way shape or form . 

     This book is funny and sweet also it does takes on a dark side towards the end . You really want the good guys to win and Justin to get what is coming to him .  The author adds just the right amount of laughter and steamy . The characters are well written and you will fall for all of them ..  There were a few spots where I felt like it kind of drug just a little and it could of been shortened just a little . Overall I truly enjoyed this book and would love to read the next book in the series . So check it out for an afternoon read .
