  Good morning my lovelies I hope you are all staying cool in this heat wave we are having . Today I have book 5 in the Guardians of Hades series .  CALISTOS  by Felicity Heaton .

                        MY REVIEW 

  When a mysterious man is brought into the ER Marinda's life is changed forever . She is taken hostage by the man and her world is turned upside down . Calistos is a man tormented by the loss of his twin sister. His heart is smitten with the young woman that he kidnaps . She brings out the softer side of him and together they find that there is more to Marinda then meets the eyes . Will they be able to keep the gates to hell closed and will Calistos come to realize that he can love again and keep Marinda safe .

  I can say that Calistos is my favourite character out of all of them . He is a man that is tormented and yet he seems to be one of the more fun.  The guys think he is the weakest link in their armour but as usual he proves them wrong . Marinda is a sweet hospital receptionist but there is a silent strength about here Together they are an amazing couple and give each other what they need . 

  This is the fifth book in the series and I will say that Calistos is my favourite character . The author takes us on an adventure. The characters are well written and complex . The story is a fun filled ride .  I truly liked this story but it just seemed a little slow in a few spots . Over all this is a great addition to the brotherhood . Check it out .

   Nathan Gordon has been hired by a ranch owner to find his missing cowboys, and to also investigate several mysterious animal mutilations. The job brings him closer to the beautiful Navajo Medicine woman, he fell in love with at first sight. Yet, he can't quite bring himself to believe in some of their rituals. Not to mention terrifying spirits.

Bright Flower has known since she was a child, Nathan is the man she is destined to marry. However convincing her grandfather is harder than she thought it would be. Just when she and Nathan have his blessing, malevolent Skinwalkers target their loved ones, and threaten to take away all she and Nathan hold dear.

The battle they wage could end in a living hell, sending Nathan and Bright Flower to a fate worse than death.

                          MY REVIEW 

  When Nathan is hired by a ranch owner to find out what happened to his cowboys he stumbles across something unusual and really scary . The one good thing that has come from this mystery he finally gets to come face to face with the beautiful Bright Flower. The Navajo princess. Who has a deep connection with him . There is a problem he can't come to terms with some of the traditions of the Navajo and certainly no with the notion of evil spirits out to hurt them . With the help of Bright Flower and her grandfather they will stand up against the evil skin walkers and the Evil that is haunting them or will they loose what they have wanted and the love that they have for each other and the people in their lives . 

 Ok let me tell you about these characters , I absolutely loved them . Bright Flower is a woman that will have you wishing she was your friend . She is sweet and kind also a healer in the tribe . She may come as she is weak and submissive at first but when push comes to shove she is a fighter . She is a very complex woman , her beliefs are steeped in tradition and honors . Nathan well he is a man's man. He is strong and handsome  but there is a bit of sadness in him that only Bright Flower can take away . He has a power in him that he doesn't know he has until he needs to bring it out .  He is a skeptic but also has the yearning to learn about what he is meant to be .  I absolutely loved these characters they are so well written and complex .  There are many more characters in this book that Spirit Walker for one he is grandpa and a great shaman who is strong and knows what to do when it comes to Nathan and Bright Flower .  You will love him 

   I was so excited when I found this book was out . I love this authors way of writing , she takes us on an emotional rollercoaster ride that will keep you on the edge of your seat .  I love a good ghost story and this one is actually kind of freaky in a way that will have you looking behind you when you hear a sound .  Even though this is a ghost story it is also a book that steeped with Navajo traditions and there is also a bit of romance . Remember love can get you through the hardest of times and even when the odds are against you . This could be read as a stand alone but I would honestly read the whole series to get the whole picture .  This is one of those books that once you start reading you can't put it down until you are done . I stayed up well past my bedtime to finish this one cause I was wanting to find out what happens and if they would survive . So check out this book , it would be great for reading by the campfire on your summer nights .
