 HAPPY NEW YEAR and welcome to the first blog post of 2024. Welcome back peeps, I hope that everyone had a great Christmas season and got some really good books to read . Today I have for you a new author to me Abbie Roads and her book SHATTERED DREAMS

                      MY REVIEW 

 When you are wrongly accused of murder all you want to do is do your time and get out . That is what Helena wanting to do, get out and say good bye to her past. When one cold night Thomas finds her freezing in a tent on the property. He takes her in and they begin to fall for each other. They complete each other but when someone wants her dead and and Thomas is taken from her . It will take everything in her power to find him and keep herself safe and to bring the murderer to justice. 

   This is one of those books that when you start you can't put down. The characters are very well written. Helena is a survivor after all that she has been through some people would be bitter . Not Helena she just wants to say good bye to her past and find her way in life . But, she is stronger than anyone realizes and will fight for those who she loves and even fight for her own life as hard as she can. Thomas is a reluctant hero, he is sweet and shy but there is such a sadness to him . He has no colour in his life after all the abuse he was dealt in his life. He is also a survivor and wants to be loved for himself . They are broken but together they can be fixed. 

  This is a story that is about what two broken people can do to come together. The author takes us on a very emotional rollercoaster ride of emotions . The characters will jump off the page and grab you by the heart strings and pull you in. There are triggers in here that some people might not be comfortable with including sa and violence.  So if you want to check out it out , I promise you will not be disappointed .
