  Good afternoon my peeps , I hope you are all having a great weekend and finding lots of books to read. Today I have for you a new author Daisy St James and her first book in her Phoenyx series PHOENYX IN FLAMES

                      MY REVIEW 

 What does the deadliest supernatural assassin do with a vampire problem. She goes on the offensive and tries to take them out. A hot vampire who does things to her that she can't deny draw her closer to him. When the undead want to kill her and she is finding out what is happening to her body and the new powers and urges are doing to her . With the help of her friend Cortez, a sand demon and her mento Hutton. Will they be able to find out the vampires trying to kill her and find out who and what she truly is before it is too late . 

   I am going to say that Phoenyx is going to be one of my favourite heroines. She came from a bad beginning to become a kick butt paranormal assassin. She is sassy but lethal at the same time. There is a lot about her she doesn't know about her past but she is going to find out what she is sooner then later . Her guardian Hutton Grimshaw is well he is very secretive man who wants to do right by Jane aka Phoenyx , he has raised her since she was a child. He knows more then he is letting on and there are moments he isn't too truthful. You have to watch your back with him. Now my favourite character Cortez a sand demon who well you don't know if he is good or bad. He comes off as the comic relief through out the story and there are moments when you want to hug him or smack him on the back of the head because of some of the things that come out of his mouth. 

  This is a great first book in the series , the author takes us on an adventure that is fueled with adrenaline, mystery and there are some romantic times through out the book. The characters are well written and the story moves very fast. You will fall in love with the characters and the story. I really want to find out who Phoenyx really is . This would be a great book to read  on a weekend when you are snowed in . It does end with a cliff hanger but don't worry the next book is out and ready to read.
