MY REVIEW
After tragedy hits Nicholas, he moves away from all things Christmas even the town he lives in. Starting over was hard but he has done it and got his handyman business up and running. Until the day he meets his newest client Natalie and her daughter Lainey, they moved to Manitou Springs after her husbands passing. Something stirs in Nicholas as he starts to hang out with them and actually starting to get his Christmas spirit back. Will a Christmas miracle happen and will hearts heal over the most magical time of the year .
Nicholas and Natalie have been through so much. Nicholas has had so much tragedy in his life ,loosing people he loves has made him kind of jaded and closed off . He comes off as kind of a grinch and wants nothing to do with Christmas. He is the sweetest guy underneath and it only takes a sweet woman and her daughter to bring it out of him. Natalie is such a sweet woman who is drowning in grief and sadness after loosing her husband. She is tough but also so very tender you just want to wrap her up and take care of her. They are sweet together and start to become more and more comfortable with each other . You start to see them change and fall in love even when things go wrong Nicholas will fight for what he wants and what he wants is Natalie and Lainey in his life .
This is a sweet second chance love story with sweet characters set at my favourite time of the year. The characters are well written and you really want to cheer for them . This is a fast read and I finished it in an evening but it is nice to have a story that you can sit down and have a good feeling after you are done. I do wish we had a bit more of their romance good and bad overall the author does a great job with their love story. So if you want a sweet read for the holidays check it out.
