  Hey I am back for another read for you . Its novel week here for reader roundup. Today's book is MONSTROUS THINGS by Gabriella Messina.

                       MY REVIEW 

 London in 1880 is under attack by a mad man named the Ripper.  Dr Linus Hopkins is working late one night when a mysterious woman walks into his office and sets off a string of events that will bring the old greek gods back to the forefront . Medusa and Linus must figure out who is the Ripper and also face the destinies that have been laid out for them. Will they be to find the Ripper and fulfill the destiny. 

  Ok we are jumping in off the deep end here. This is a book where Greek mythology and lore and the story of Jack the Ripper are entwined. LInus is a sweet man who is drawn into the mysterious murders that have been happening . He wants to figure out what is happening and if he can help stop them. He is kind of a loner and shy but he has a destiny to fulfill that he doesn't want to but in the end does . Medusa we know her back story but there is more to her and she has been through so much in her life when she was alive . She is a complex character who is on a mission to figure out the murderer's next step. Together they make such a good team and they go head to head with some of Greeks most powerful titans . gods and monsters and historical persons. They are so well written and complex you really want to cheer for both Medusa and Linus. 

  This is a complex story combining lore and historical story that shook a era.  The author truly makes the characters come alive and the story line has so many twists and turns that kept me entertained through out the book .  The author has a good grasp on the characters and it was such a fun read that kept me entertained . I read this book in an evening but you could easily finish it in one or two days . So if you want a book to end of the Halloween night with this is the story for you .
