                     MY REVIEW 

  Christy is heading home to the small town that gave her so much hatred and fear to finalize her fathers will . When she gets there she helps a young woman who got stuck in a pothole with her wheelchair. They become friends as well Christy helps the young woman figure out how to use her wheel chair and she meets Brenna's father . The man who long ago was the boy that she broke his heart a long time ago. Sven is the boy that was her best friend until that fateful night . He is back and grown up with a daughter of his own who just happens to be the girl in the wheel chair. When Christy and Sven meet after a wild kiss under the mistletoe things heat up for both of them and will they be able to heal from the hurts of the past and get a second chance at the love they both deserve. 

   I am loving these two they are older characters and they both have baggage. Sven is hiding the hurt that happened so long ago. He doesn't want anyone to take the place of the one woman he truly loved . He is standoffish and just wants to be alone with his daughter as the women of town want him. Christy is 43 and trying to keep her life together while coming home to finalize her father's estate. She is a sweet woman but she is hiding a secret that has torn her shreds for most of her young life . When they are together they are hiding behind the past pain and heart ache and blind to see that they are meant to be together . I will say this Brenna, Sven's daughter , may be in a wheel chair but she is like a whirlwind when it comes to getting people to do what she wants . They are some really well written characters and a second chance at the love they deserve. 

  This is a read that will have you tearing up and laughing at the same time . You do feel the Christmas magic happening through out the book . The characters are complex and they have some big feelings that are going on . I read this book in an evening and loved every moment of the story.  So if you want to add a second chance romance check out Sexy Claus

 Gabriella and Oscar have been through a lot , after an accident when they were both younger takes them both to Colorado. They meet years later when Oscar puts an ad out looking for a receptionist. Oscar is the Omega of his shifter clan and a mental health provider for his clan. When they meet it is sparks at first sight  and when they find out they are mates both of them couldn't be happier . Until the day they find out that one night that changed his life changed Gabbis also. Will they survive what happened and will they survive the threats that are haunting them . 

     Oscar and Gabbi are such sweet characters  Oscar is a sweet guy who is there for all those that need him . But there is a bit of sadness in him also.  Gabbi is a sweet girl who has been through so much but has come through it . She is a happy ray of sunshine that brings happiness to all those around. They are sweet together and its insta love because of the mates tie. They do go through some bad but come out the other side still sweet .  Prim is well she is evil and wow she is also off her rocker . We also get to meet pack members and friends of Oscar and Gabbi which are all influential on helping Gabbi and Oscar out . Each character is well written and have complexity .

    This is a sweet fun read that you can read as a stan alone and finish it in an evening . The author paints a picture of a tranquil living in clan lands and a sweet love story between two people that have been hurt in the past.. Characters have been well written and you will fall in love with them.  So if you want a fun sweet book for an evening check it out

   Each woman has such a fun tale to tell , from threesomes to a very hot priest . Each girl has an unique story to tell and how to tell it. 

 Josie is the head of Blush and has a couple of men who come to see her , Hudson is tall and debonair and also has a secret that only Josie knows about and they share an evening of passion that could melt your kindle. 

   Cate has a thing for the hot new priest that she can't get her mind off of what he could do to her and her followers on her blog are hanging on every word as she tells them about the one night they had, 

    Andie tells of her night with her best friends dad to her fans on her web camera. She retells what happened in detail and the fact that she has been fantasies about him since she was a teen ager. 

  Maya writes down in her journal about the night she had with her ex boyfriend and what she has missed with him . With a smile on her face and happy thoughts . 

    This was a fast hot read that will have you having fantasies of your own. The characters are well written and you really get into their stories each one different but entertaining . I over all enjoyed the stories but i do wish that they were just a little longer and built up the character complexity. The only other thing that had me stumbling a bit was there were a few edits that were missed . Over all this would be a good story to read on an evening with a glass of wine and the lights down low.

                      MY REVIEW 

   In the Hard Candy series we get two stories , of a father and son , mafia men. Who use the Red List escort agency. Wesson and Ruger are the father and son of the biggest mafia family. Each of them using the agency to find a lovely woman to be on their arm . Zoey and Jenny are those lovely women but it just doesn't happen for one night. Each couple is wanting more and will they be able to have what they want and keep the family safe and rule the city . 

   In Sucking on a Sugar Daddy 

  We meet Wesson the head of the family a ruthless but loyal man. He is a dapper silver fox who can be a ruthless man who takes doesn't take no for an answer. When he meets Zoey a sweet woman , who works too hard to take care of her sister and first time escort. Who has a sweet tooth for sugar daddies . When they meet it is like karma has hit them both. They get anxious around each other and the word sugar daddy takes on a whole new meaning. They are such a cute couple and very well written . 

In Devouring a Big Hunk 

  We meet Ruger and Jenny. Ruger is the son of Wesson and is being trained to take over the family business. He is tall, dark and oh so handsome but there is also a deadly air about him. There is also a gentle side to him that when he meets Jenny at the corner store it shows . Jenny is well she is gorgeous and doesn't put up with anyone's attitude . She has a sweet tooth for the sweet tea and Big Hunk chocolate bars . When they meet there are sparks but once they meet for the date through the escort agency the sparks really fly. We do get to see a bit of Ruger's dark side come out and it is pretty sexy when it does . 

  I honestly loved both sets of characters, they were so much fun to read as short stories . I wish that the stories were a little longer and we could get to see a bit more of their budding relationship. The candy aspect of it was so much fun to read and to see the way the author played with the wording and what the reader could take from it . This is a brand new author to me I so enjoyed reading this book and can't wait to check out more from her.

                        MY REVIEW 

   Wren knows fashion and works for a prestigious fashion and everyone wants to see her wearing their products . Until the day a black bag shows up at her work place let me rephase that a talking black bag.  When they open it out pops Bitty just floating there telling Wren to open the letter from her grandmother. Where she finds out she has a power to sense evil  When a friend of hers has been murdered Wren, Bitty and her assistant are dropped into the middle of the investigation. While she is figuring out who did it she just might figure out her destiny. 

   Wren is such a fashionista and has a great life as basically an influencer to all those that read her articles.  She comes off as a fashion snob and really doesn't want to embrace her destiny most of the time. She and her assistant are so fun, watching them bumble through the case is so fun . Strong and care free each of them. But I will say Bitty is the best character ever she is hilarious and is so witty . She has the best one liners ever . All the characters are well written and complex. 

  This is a fun fast read, the author has created such a fun cozy mystery with a paranormal twist to it . The characters are fun and the story is a good read . This would be a great book to read on a lazy day . It is the first book in the series and can't wait to see where the characters go in book two .

DAY 2 OF NOVELLAS ON READER ROUND UP

  Good morning my peeps, hope you are having a wonderful week . Today is day 2 of reader round up and I have for you OUTCAST ISLAND book 3 in the Exiled series by Jennifer Thorn.

There’s no way I can go into heat and take his knot like he wants.

                     MY REVIEW 

 Guorun, a rare Vampire omega, crash lands on a exile island which houses vampire alphas. Magnus is drawn to the little omega in a way that either of them never thought of . Guoron is about to go into heat and Magnus is the only one that can help her through. But he has to fight the other alphas that are coming after her.  If there wasn't enough for them to work through like her Empath powers and now her father is after her. Magnus is the only one to save her and keep his mate safe, cherished and loved. 

   Magnus is a Vampire Alpha who has really bad rage issues . He has exiled himself so he could try and control himself . He is your typical tall, dark and handsome vampire. He is a pit of a hot head every now and then but it does help him in winning fights . Guoron is a sweet well almost damsel in distress but she has a secret that brings a calming to Magnus .She is a fighter and will do anything not to be enslaved by anyone. They started out stalker and stalkie but soon became a team that no one could separate.  They are well written character that grow through out the book .

  This is a stand alone book in the exiled sector series . The author does a very good job of taking us through a land that is dangerous and kinda sexy in a way . Overall I enjoyed this book but I did feel like in a few spots it kind of slowed down a bit. The characters are well written but I think they could of been a bit more complex and had a little bit more give and get . Everything was just so instant and I am there for it. So if you want a book that has instant lust and a happily ever after with a spicy center . Check this book out , it could melt the snow .

 When a huntsman goes out to find the enchantress that is in the dark woods . He has no idea what is about to happen to him when a beautiful young woman enchants him things change and he is thrust into a world of magic and a raven that is trying to warn him. But he is drawn into the magic of a crystal ball

The characters in this novella are well written . Cain aka the huntsman is on the hunt for the witch that has taken the kings son. He is strong but also has a side to him that he doesn't want to be enchanted and is scared . He also wants to do what is right . Ember is the enchantress that is bewitching all those that come around . There is more to her and then we realize and when we meet her daughter we get the low down of what is really going on. Amara is the true reason of all the bad things going on in the dark forest .We find out the whole story . Each character is so well written and you fall for each of them. They are well written ,

This is a short story is well crafted and is a retelling of a combination two fairy tales with characters it has the elements of snow white and ariel. With witches and sirens and men who are after them. The author tells a fascinating story of magic and what can happen when you are enchanted . I really like this author's type of writing and her story telling that will keep you entertained. It is a fun quick read .

ITS ALMOST VALENTINE'S DAY

   Good morning my peeps, I hope you are all surviving the cold snap that seems to have engulfed us for the last little while. I hope you are all curling up with some great books and some chocolate . Today I have for you the last book in the Misty Hollow series by Hp Mallory and JR Rain. AS THE CROW DIES .

Things in Misty Hollow are bad.

So bad, in fact, that we’ve left the Hollow to seek shelter from Swamp Thing in the freezing cold of the Faerie land of Winter.

Now, you might wonder why we’re seeking refuge in Winter, which is currently ruled by the evil would-be queen, Janara, and you’d be right to ask.

Unfortunately, Fox Aspen, otherwise known as Prince Reynard of the Autumn Court, was nearly fatally wounded by Swamp Thing. In his weakened state, the only portal he could open was to Winter.

So, here we are.

If I hoped being in Faerie would somehow help Fox heal, that’s simply wishful thinking. The truth is, Fox’s condition is worsening before my eyes. As someone who works on healing others, I feel utterly helpless because I can’t seem to do anything to help him.

Not only that, but I’m painfully aware that my feelings for him run deeper than I realized. That’s a difficult reality to face—not only because I don’t know if Fox will survive, but also because I’m breaking the heart of another man—my best friend, Thorn.

But matters of the heart will have to wait, because soon we find ourselves prisoners of the enemy in an enemy land, and Fox is our only hope for escape to the safety of Haven Hollow.

I can only hope we make it.

                        MY REVIEW 

  Misty Hollow is not doing well they are being attacked by a swamp thing . So bad that they had to leave and hide in the Winter realm in Fairie land . The reason why they landed there was the only portal that Fox could open was to that realm . Fox who is also the prince of autumn was mortally wounded by the Swamp thing. So there they are trying to stay hidden in winter running from an unseen foe. Trying to get Fox healed so he can help them out and get them to Haven Hollow. Can they make it and will Charlie figure out that she can help Fox and keep her emotions in check until they are all safe. 

  Charlie and the gang from Misty Hollow are back and on the run. Charlie is having a rough day and is really just not taking in the fact that she is stronger than she realizes and can keep everyone safe as they fight for their lives . Along with Fox well who is basically out of commission through out  most of the story. Thorn is doing his best to figure out how to get everyone out of Winter with all their friends alive. Even when he is finding out that the one he has feelings for has feeling for someone else. These characters have become like friends and they have grown more complex with each book. Now that they are heading to Haven Hollow I can't wait to see how much more they grow and how much more complex they become. 

  I am kinda sad that Misty Hollows is ending but I am really glad that these characters are moving to Haven Hollow. I can't wait to see how the new characters mingle with the original characters from the hollow. There are secrets that need to come out and super naturals need to play nice with each other . I think the authors will really bring Haven hollow to the next level. The series is growing and becoming such a fun read. I can't wait to see how things are going to go. So if you want a great series check it out .

WELL THE FIRST WEEK IN FEB ALMOST DONE

   Good day my peeps , I have been mia well because I have been reading and trying to dodge the cold on the farm . Today I have for you the next book in the HAVEN HOLLOW Series . BLOOD AND ICE  by Hp Mallory and JR Rain

 The last person I expect to ask me a favor is the headmistress of Blood Rose Academy, Aurea Grimsbane.

Yep, Aurea wants me to figure out what happened to Vivian. Of course, my first answer is a resounding ‘no’ because I want nothing to do with that backstabbing witch.

                       MY REVIEW 

   Taliyah and Maverick are back and keeping Haven Hollow safe . Well until the day that the dean of Blood Rose Academy shows up and gives Tally an offer she can't refuse. Find out what happened to Vivian or she will go after Tally's family. With Maverick at her side she tries to figure out what happened . And the feelings start to get in the way and crossing lines that they tried to draw. Now if Maverick will get on board things will be great. 

    The gang is back, Tally and Maverick are the center of this story today. Taliyah is still trying to come to terms with the fact that she is a fae princess and also the police chief . She is stressed beyond belief. Trying to keep everyone safe in the hollow and keeping her sons safe. She is a tough lady that will do anything to help the people she loves . Just don't make her angry she isn't pretty when she gets angry. Maverick is well he is a great guy who has been there for Tally and helping her out without crossing the lines in their arrangement . He is always there for her and the boys but he is not wanting to cross lines which is getting harder and harder. They both need to be together but are both so stubborn to realize it .  Astrid is back to help find out what happened to Vivian . They are so much fun to get to know . 

   This is a fun fast read, Tally and Maverick really need to get together and realize that they want and need each other . The authors have really put them through a lot in the last little while they need to give them a break but I doubt that will happen . They are such complex characters that when you read them you feel like you are meeting old friends. Can't wait to see what happens in the next episode of the Haven Hollow series .
