WELL THE FIRST WEEK IN FEB ALMOST DONE

   Good day my peeps , I have been mia well because I have been reading and trying to dodge the cold on the farm . Today I have for you the next book in the HAVEN HOLLOW Series . BLOOD AND ICE  by Hp Mallory and JR Rain

 The last person I expect to ask me a favor is the headmistress of Blood Rose Academy, Aurea Grimsbane.

Yep, Aurea wants me to figure out what happened to Vivian. Of course, my first answer is a resounding ‘no’ because I want nothing to do with that backstabbing witch.

But when she threatens the safety of my family, claiming she’s stolen a bone dagger from the would-be Queen of Winter, Janara, my ears perk up.

Why? Because that dagger will kill me, and I don’t want to leave my boys without a mother.

So, yes, Aurea has me between a rock and a hard place, and this is one mystery I begrudgingly realize I’ll have to unravel.

Good thing I have my husband (in name only) Maverick by my side. Though it doesn’t help that my feelings for him are crossing into dangerous territory…

                       MY REVIEW 

   Taliyah and Maverick are back and keeping Haven Hollow safe . Well until the day that the dean of Blood Rose Academy shows up and gives Tally an offer she can't refuse. Find out what happened to Vivian or she will go after Tally's family. With Maverick at her side she tries to figure out what happened . And the feelings start to get in the way and crossing lines that they tried to draw. Now if Maverick will get on board things will be great. 

    The gang is back, Tally and Maverick are the center of this story today. Taliyah is still trying to come to terms with the fact that she is a fae princess and also the police chief . She is stressed beyond belief. Trying to keep everyone safe in the hollow and keeping her sons safe. She is a tough lady that will do anything to help the people she loves . Just don't make her angry she isn't pretty when she gets angry. Maverick is well he is a great guy who has been there for Tally and helping her out without crossing the lines in their arrangement . He is always there for her and the boys but he is not wanting to cross lines which is getting harder and harder. They both need to be together but are both so stubborn to realize it .  Astrid is back to help find out what happened to Vivian . They are so much fun to get to know . 

   This is a fun fast read, Tally and Maverick really need to get together and realize that they want and need each other . The authors have really put them through a lot in the last little while they need to give them a break but I doubt that will happen . They are such complex characters that when you read them you feel like you are meeting old friends. Can't wait to see what happens in the next episode of the Haven Hollow series .
