WELL IT IS WINTER HERE

Good morning peeps, well it finally happened we got our first snow fall of the year. It is time for cozy blankets , hot chocolate and some great books for the fall and winter season. Today I have for you book 49 in the Haven Hollow series . ORACLES AND ODSYSSES  by J. R Rain and Hp Mallory.

                           BOOK BLURB

Indigo Hallewell would go to hell to save her friends. Unfortunately, that’s becoming an actual travel itinerary.

Being High Witch of Scapegrace Coven should be an honor. For Indigo, it means suspicious witches, endless arguments, and hiding a secret that could get Wanda Depraysie burned at the stake.

Wanda is a vampire now, and her terrifying new powers make her the perfect vessel for an ancient vampire god. Indigo is determined to find a cure before he claims her. Wanda’s latest attempt to help, involving a possessed porcelain doll, isn’t exactly making the situation less complicated.

Neither is RJ. The handsome, infuriatingly kind man Indigo has been trying to keep at a safe distance refuses to stay there. And the closer he gets, the more she stands to lose.

Then Dory, the gorgon oracle helping protect Haven Hollow, begins falling dangerously ill. Her search for a cure offers Indigo a desperate possibility: the waters of the River Lethe might help them both.

There’s just one problem. Collecting those waters requires venturing into the Greek underworld.

With RJ at her side and a crew of vampire bodyguards she’d rather not trust, Indigo sets out for a land where one wrong look can turn her to stone—and surviving the journey means submitting to the judgment of Hades himself.

Indigo has spent years regretting the price of power. Now she’ll discover the price of saving the people she loves.

                        MY REVIEW
Welcome back to the hollow and lets see what the gang is doing. Indigo is trying hard to navigate the perils of being the head witch of the scapegoat coven and trying to get Wanda back.  Wanda is now a vampire with powers that make her the perfect fit for an ancient vampire to possess her . Indigo is determined to get Wanda back . With the help of RJ a mundane and Dory a gorgon oracle give her .Sends her to the River Lethe and the water that will help them both. There is a problem and she and the gang have to hit the Greek underworld . Where one wrong move could turn her into stone and surviving will have them submitting to Hades himself.

Poor Indigo she has been having a rough time as of late. The coven is not liking her and trying to figure out her love life for a couple of things. She is trying her best but she seems like she is just honestly too scared to step on toes at times .  She needs to toughen up as she tries to figure everything out. She is a sweet woman who is trying to figure out her place in the hollow. She really grows stronger as she fights the underworld and keep everyone safe.
RJ is a sweet guy who is in love with Indigo . He is reliable and the kind of guy you want around . He will do anything to keep Indigo safe .  We also get to meet Gorgons and Hades himself who well is rather charming . Each character is well written and I love how they all interact with each other and bring other characters in from past books .

I love it when these two authors get together and write. The story is always so much fun to read and you always get a laugh or two . The characters are wonderful and so well written . The stories all meld into each other and you can pick up right where you left off . There is a bonus short story at the end of the book which is a fun read about Marty and the rangers . If you want a fun rast read for your fall evening check it out .
