HAPPY HUMP DAY EVERYONE

Well its Wed and what  can  I say , its still fricken cold out there. So I got out my precious and read Lisa Kessler's new book BEG ME TO SLAY. This book is now one of my new favorite books. Gabe just might have to be my new book boyfriend. Sorry boys , he slays demons for a living .  He is a tattooed hot man who fights demons and is one in a long line of demon slayers.  He is also a p.i and is hired by Tegan. its like Megan with a T. Loved that when she explained that to Gabe for the first time.  She is one tough cookie that can take care of herself, as she keeps reminding Gabe every chance she can. Proving this by basically kicking his ass at one point. As they work their way to find out the demon that attacked her, they can't help but have feelings for each other. They are scared to act on those feelings cause they both are damaged and are scared of the feeling that they have deep inside of them.  As they move closer to finding the demon, together they have each others backs when it counts,
    I first fell in love with Lisa's moonlight series. She can write a good shifter book. I grabbed BEG TO ME TO SLAY and holy moly , I started it last night . Reluctantly had to put it down to go to bed. Just like any bookaholic I was up at 4 am curdled up on the couch with my precious . I couldn't put the book down. I was so wrapped up in Gabe and Tegan's story. I was cheering for them the whole time . The best part of the book for me is when Gabe and Tegan were in her dojo with the teens and they were sparring. Lets just say someone was totally worked up sparing with his girl.
     Lisa weaves a tale of demons and slayers with a hint of celtic mythology mixed in  BEG ME TO SLAY is the book for you. You cheer for them both and you want them to be happy in the end.
So please if you want a great read check out Lisa's book. She doesn't disappoint . She has a lot of hot alpha men that make you want to swoon.

HAPPY GROUNDHOG DAY EVERYONE

Well it is Sunday morning and I just finished an arc . I will post my review next week of the review. It was the last book in the series and was happy they got their happy ending. After what the couple went through , it was a great part of the book;
 So speaking of happy endings in books , do you like when everything is wrapped up nicely in a big pink ribbon. Or do you like the fact that sometimes things can't go back to the way they were. You need to move on and grow a human. I personally love to see people grow and mature in books. Have their problems but finally be able to work them out , while the whole time still being with the person they are suppose to be with. Or find the one that they are suppose to be with, Sometimes you get so invested in the characters that you want to throw you kindle across the room when something horrible and tragic happens to that character. There is one book I read this past winter and it made me screaming at the kindle . SAVE HER FIND HER, SHE IS YOUR LIFE. It was the best book I have read in 2013 , It had everything that a book addict could want. It was a very hard topic to read but the author had me so involved in the book. I never knew the depths of one man's love for his woman . And what he would do to bring her back from the darkness that took her.
   I know all books don't take you to the depths of despair, some are lighthearted and funny , but for that once in a life time read  you want , Those are the books to read. The books that tear at your heart strings and if are really good will rip out your heart. Those are the kinds of books that will give me a book hang over any day of the week. Don't get me wrong I love the light hearted romantic books, but give me a dark take me to edge book .If you can make me have that really ugly cry. You know the ones where your tears are flowing and you are aching . Those books are awesome . So for all you authors out there , that go dark keep it up .I WILL BE THERE TO BUY THOSE BOOKS

I know Erotica has been around for ages. But it seems that there is a point by point way to write erotica lately.  I am going just list a few
   The expensive panties being ripped off your body , in the books the man just hooks his fingers into the sides and rips them off. They are usually really epensive lace panties . Ok now in real life if I had on the LE PERLE lace panties , they would be slide of my legs, folded and placed on the pile of clothes. NO WAY is a man going to rip off a 300 dollar pair of panties. Not  on my watch will he
   Also in the books now it seems like the woman is a virgin. My goodness that's a lot of virgins out there in book land . Its hard to even think of anyone as a virgin anymore in real life. The big dom man takes the young virgin to the bed and makes love to her for the first time. Then what happens do the whips and chains appear and she automatically bows down . That is just happening way too much in a lot of the books out there. From tying up for the first time and getting the knots too tight, to the woman finally taking control in the very end. They just seem so generic in some cases . like we have read them in some form or another . WE NEED TO TAKE OUR EROTICA BACK
     There are some authors that I am absolutely excited to read , like Selena Kitt, her Baumgartner series will burn up your kindle. They are hot.Also there is the Cherise Sinclair , Shadow lands series. These book are great for people who want to read about BDSM  There is a different dom and sub in each book. Then there is a brand new book from Jason Luke, called Interview with a master. This book about BDSM is from the male point of view as he is the master . He tells his story through interviews. If you want a fun cowboy read there are the McCoy brothers from Sable Hunters HELL YEAH series. Boy, those McCoy boys are some hot hot oh did I say hot cowboys.
