GOOD FRIDAY ALL

  Good Friday all , today we are going to review a new book by Megan Hart . MOMENTS OF DISARRAY an Alex Kennedy story.

                            BOOK BLURB

                       MY REVIEW 

    I first met Alex in Tempted and thought wow he is such a rogue . He is good looking and has a devil may care attitude . I really just thought of him as a player . He sure pulled it off . But I must say we find a different Alex in the story. He is on a self destruction course trying to wipe out the one thing he shouldn't of done . Fall in love with his best friends wife . Will he ever put the past behind him and will he find love again. 

  I absolutely adore the characters in this book . Alex is such a complex man . One min you want to kick his back side and the next min you are wanting to take him to bed .  He is so broken in this book . He is trying to mask the pain with everything and anything he can. As we see him go through the pain he starts to grow . After finding Luke and the one night stand that didn't stop . Alex grows up just a little . I really liked Luke he seemed to be a calming influence on him at times. He was there for Alex when it seemed Alex needed him . But he is also struggling with a few things about himself and his feelings . He is a sweet guy a confused guy but a sweet guy . Jamie and his wife also make an appearance in the book which just makes everything more uncomfortable . You will want to hug everyone  and make sure everything will be ok. 

   The author took us on such an emotional roller coaster ride . She basically puts us through the ringer along with her characters . You will want to strangle Alex in one breath and in the next breath you are wanting to love him up good . I love the authors writing style , it isn't flowery and long winded . She direct and to the point about where she is taking her characters . This is not a stand alone book you should really read Tempted and Everything changes so can get more of the story . I will tell you they will blow your socks off and you will not want to put them down .

                       MY REVIEW

  This story starts after the disaster of Love Canal, Jill and Becky are trying to survive and get out . They are heading away from the city and heading south . Trying to stay out of sight from the zombies and other people that want to harm them . They stumble upon some signs leading them to a band of survivors . But are these people any safer then the zombies out there. Will they be able to put their survival skills to the test and will they survive both the zombies and the people who want to hurt them more . 

    I truly like this author's writing style . He takes you on a journey full of twists and turns . I love that the two main characters in this book are female . It shows that we can survive with the best of them and would be able to take care of ourselves when push comes to shove . I must admit this it does have a fear of the walking dead kind of vibe to it . There are survivors that are doing everything in their power to survive and others that want to take that away for themselves .  Which to me is very enjoyable 

  The characters are well written and they seem to more complex then in book one . Jill is strong and seems to be growing in herself in this book . Becky is kicking butt and taking names . She has also grown and is now fighting her way towards safety . One on one we have two women that can take care of themselves but together they are an unstoppable team . I really like them as a team . 

   The author really takes us to the edge and back in this book . This is a very character driven book and the author keeps us on the edge of the seat . He doesn't let up on the tension and there is blood shed . This is a great addition to the zombie genre .

  This book is such a fun read, the author takes us on a laugh out loud adventure in dating .This story takes place about a year after the fateful night when Shana and Trevor met and had a night together . Shana is now in New York planning a lingerie show and Trevor heads to the show as part of a bachelor party . When they meet again sparks fly which I will say is hot, hot , hot. I truly love these characters . Shana is such a great character, she is some times a little scattered and worries a lot . But she is also a lot of fun to read and you will get such a kick out of her . She takes life by the horns and doesn't want to any regrets when it comes to her job and her love life . Even if that means just two weeks with the man who has her heart . You get to see her grow and thrive and you will be a little heart broken also. 

 Now lets talk Trevor , oh my ladies you will be drooling over him . He is sexy and sweet and a whole bunch of fun . He will take your heart and squeeze it tight . He loves with all his heart and he needs Shana in his life . Trust me ladies this man will be your new book boyfriend by the time you are done reading . Kimbra and Duncan are back to help out the couple and there is a new character Stephan, Shana's best friend and confidante . He is her calming influence when she gets all frazzled . I really like him and would love to know more about him. 

    This is such a fun read , I love the lighter side of this author . Her writing is full of twists and turns . Trust me you will laugh so hard at some of the things the author does to these two characters . You will also shed a tear or two towards the end of the book . This book will make a great summer read . So if you want a great book for this summer , pool time . Check out this series .
