                         MY REVIEW 

  

   Welcome back to the tour bus . Everything is starting to settle down after what happened with Jay- Den and Amber . Luke and Melissa are healing from what happened to them nd the band . Everyone is picking up the pieces and trying to find trust again . But you know there is going to be more demons out there to get them and try and break the band and the couples up  Will they be able to forgive and heal or will the friendships and the band be torn apart . 

    The poor characters , Encore picks up where Strings left off . Melissa is battling with herself about what happened and trying to heal and Luke well Luke is Luke but he has some healing to do also . Melissa has become stronger but also she is a lot less trusting of everyone . To the point some times its kind of annoying . I know she is trying hard but sometimes her neediness gets in the way of really liking her . Luke is well Luke trying to fix everything for everyone . The characters I really liked in this book were Beth and Dale . Beth has been through so much and all she wants is a family . She is sweet but also kick butt strong . Dale well he is gruff and a typical rocker but when it comes to Beth he is like a kitty cat . They are the couple of the book . Amber is back reeking havoc with the band and threatening them all again and she has a new accomplice Aiden . He is slimy big time . You will love to hate him . 

   This book has much more action then the first book . We are taken on a emotional ride  with the band . The author really puts the characters through it again . But I must admit this the story felt a little lacking of something . Not sure how it is lacking but it seems like every time they go out on tour the crazies come out and it kind of felt like a fluffier then the first book. Over all I did enjoy this second book in the series . I read it in an evening . I am liking the series so far . Can't wait to read book 3 in the series . So check out the series . They must be read in order so you will understand what is happening .

                           MY REVIEW 

   This is the second series I have read that is all about rock n roll. Let me introduce you the Black Eagles a rock band on the rise . They are on the fast track and Melissa Webb the girlfriend of the frontman Luke Black . When Luke goes missing and Melissa is in the hospital hurt . Their world crumbles around them and they need to find Luke before its too late.

  You will absolutely love the characters in this book . Melissa is a sweet girl who with the love of her man can get through anything. It starts with Melissa in the hospital and tells the story from then on how she ended up there . At first you kind of are sucked with a poor Melissa but as you read you find out how strong she is. Luke is well he is a guys guy and loves the lime light . He comes of cocky sometimes but with his friends and the woman he loves he is the rock that holds them all together . The rest of the band . Dale , Toby and Tom . They are close knit and more like brothers then band mates .Now with every band they have their fans and their stalkers and this band is no different. Amber is crazy and I mean crazy . She will do anything to get Luke for her own . You have to read the book see what happens with her . 

    This story has a bit before it starts to get really good . It really picks up in chapter 2 . Chapter 1 sets up the story and why Melissa is in the hospital . The author takes us on a roller coaster ride and trust me it is a tear jerker sometimes . There are a couple of intense scenes with the label head and what he does to Melissa. But she comes through it . You will cheer and cry and yell at your kindle while you are reading . Be prepared to not get anything done once you start reading . You will want to jump right into the second book after you are finished the first one . So if you like rock n roll check them out .  Put them on your fall and winter reading list

 GOOD Tuesday all , hope you all survived the long weekend if you had one . Today we are going to review a new author to me and her book MY OWN NIGHTMARE  by Barb Shuler.

                        MY REVIEW 

    I sat down and started reading this book , thought I would read some and put it down and go about my day . Well I was mistaken , I read the book in one sitting . Supper was not made and laundry didn't get folded . I got very invested in this book. It sucked me in right from the get go . The author took me down a dark tunnel . What would you do if you were having the time of your life . You had a great writing career and a man who loved you unconditionally. That was Dani-lyn's life . She had a best selling novel and a hot sexy sheriff that loved her oh and she had a secret . Until the night it all went terribly wrong .  When she was taken from her hometown book signing . Will the men in her life find her before it is too late . 

    What can I saw about the characters in this book.  They are complex and well written . Dani-lyn was a character at the beginning of the book I really was on the fence about her . She was timid and well it felt like she was a little naïve . But as you read along through the book and you watched her go through everything that she went through , You really see her grow and be come a warrior . She took her getting out of where she was in her own hands . The one woman that actually really scared me was Nicole . Man she was crazy and I mean scary crazy. She was always around Dani watching and waiting . Not going to tell you anymore about her cause I will spoil it for you . The supporting characters are all well written and help find Dani . 

   This story is not for the faint of heart . There are scenes of sexual and physical abuse and some torture . This is a book full of twists and turns . I honestly couldn't put this book down . I wanted to know if she was going to make it out alive . This is also the first book where it was a female stalker , stalking another female . Which to me made the book even better . I will say the twist at the end will have you going what the heck . You will cheer for the characters and you will also cry . Trust me some of the stuff Dani went through , I had tears in my eyes . I truly felt for her at the end of the book. I can't wait to read the rest of the series .  If you want a dark read with plenty of twists and turns add this series to your fall and winter reading list .

HAPPY SATURDAY

   Happy Saturday all and welcome to the first day of September . Its a long weekend here this weekend . Today we are going to review the fourth book in the Eternity series by Mike Hartner . I,. Angus .

                        MY REVIEW 

      This is the fourth book in the series and we meet Angus. he is young and living in the time where Northern Scotland is being invaded by the English . Leaving in their wake broke homes and families destroyed . When we first meet Angus he is charged with delivering a message from his father to a neighbouring king.  But with all epic adventures his is no different . The journey is full of trials and twists . Once he arrives he meets Angela, the kings daughter all alone . When a rider less horse shows up the odds of her father coming home are looking grim. What we see is Angus and Angela looking for their fathers on the battle field, where the find soldiers and nurse them back to health all while living in a cave . 

With the challenges that come and go as they work there way across England, Scotland and England . 

   These characters are very well written and complex. You can't help but fall in love with Angus . He is a man of peace but life has a way of putting him through trials and tribulations

that molded him into the strong man he became.  Angela is a tough cookie too she is strong and is there for Angus when he needed her . They go through so much together and are stronger for it in the end . 

   I really didn't know if I was going to like this one as much as the other books . Angus wasn't one of the Crofter children so I really didn't know how the author was going to retell his story, I must admit he took us on a wild adventure ride into the war between Scotland and England and off to the new world .  This one feels more adventurous then the other stories . These books are great for anyone from the age of 12 to adult to read . They are clean and oh so well written . You get transported back to a time where there is strife and wars but also you find loving families that care for each other . Each story is a great read and you will love every character . So get this series for you and your kids . You will all love them .  So add them to your fall and winter reading list
