                           MY REVIEW 

    What do you do when you just don't fit in anywhere . That is what is happening to Ana . She feels she doesn't fit in anywhere until the night she starts her journey in becoming a vampire . After running into two warring factions . When she meets prince Andree there is an instant spark . But like always there is danger on the horizon and will they survive the impending war . 

    This is an interesting book . The characters are well written and you will love them . Ana is such a sweet woman, who doesn't really feel like she belongs . Coming from an abusive relationship . She is wary and untrusting of everyone . As you read and get into the book you see her grow and she becomes really confident but also she has the feelings of not being good enough . When you meet Andree he comes off kind of cocky , like most princes are . I truly liked him, he truly loves and cares for Ana and wants to keep her safe . But knows not to mess with her when she is set her mind of something . They are great characters on their own but when they are together they are great . There are other characters that we find are good and not so good . That just keep wanting to keep the wars going . Ivan is the character that you will love to hate . You will either like him or hate him

    This is the first book for this author . She takes us on a rollercoaster ride . An original twist on the vampire lore, throwing in the alien aspect in the mix . We get to see a love story unfold before us also with Ana and Andree .  I must say it was a little slow at the beginning . It seemed to take awhile to get to Andree and Ana's story . Also the alien aspect did kind of threw me for a little bit . Over all I really enjoyed this story and the authors writing . So if you want a original twist on vampires check it out .

                          MY REVIEW 

   What do you do when you stop a shoplifter on Christmas eve . That's what happened to David when he met Emma . a young woman who is on the run and desperate . The pastor in him wants to help the young woman . When the unthinkable happens that puts both of them on a different path. When Emma's decision throws everyone for a loop will they be able to come out . When Emma returns will they be able to work out the past to continue with the future . 

  This book is very well written . I absolutely loved the characters in this book . Emma well lets just say one min you want to wrap her up in a blanket and tell her everything will be ok . At the beginning of the book , she is scared and has such low self esteem . She has been thrown away over and over . She is very defensive and doesn't know her own self worth , To me when she left her baby with David , she was doing what she thought was right . When you read her coming back into David's life she becomes a stronger woman , still a little skittish but she grew up . She still has to fight everyday but she is working on it all the time .

 David well he is such a sweet guy . He is giving and willing to help . He was on the path to be a minister when his life changed . Which I must say he did a great job . I fell for him and his vulnerability when it came to raising his daughter . He is a little over protective and everyone loves him. 

   This is the first book I have read by this author and trust me I will be reading more . She had me feeling so many emotions . I laughed and I cried and I felt a whole lot of love for the characters .  I wanted to hug all the characters and tell them it will be ok . The author writes with a passion that comes through on the page. I think the best part of this book is that the good guy is a good guy . He isn't a pompous arrogant man . He is humble and sweet . You will love these characters trust me . You should add this series to your reading list for this winter . You will love them

     You know Wednesday is tough but when your Wednesday turns into homicide . You just have to have family.  That's exactly what happened to Piper on her first day of college . She comes home to find her room mate on the floor dead .  She doesn't have time for murder between work and school . Piper tries to put it out of her mind . But when another person dies , she goes to her book club to help solve the case . Will she survive and will she finally get that date with the sexy Fitz . 

   This is the first time I have met these characters . I have to say at first I couldn't really like Piper . She seemed very naïve. She did grow on me and I really started to like her spunkiness towards the end of the book . The book club well lets just say I would love to be part of their pack , they are hilarious best scene making friends with a biker in the dive bar . Edna is hilarious .  The characters are well written  and you can fall in love with them 

 This is the first book I have read by this author . I was kind of confused when I started because I started in the middle of the series .The story was good and it flowed well . The characters are well written and you won't be able to figure out who did it until the end . The author takes us on a fun filled mystery that will have you reading the afternoon away .. I am so going to check out the rest of the series . This can be read as a stand alone but you will want to read them all to get to know the characters . Add this to your winter reading list and grab a latte and a blanket and settle down for a good read
